Affordable, yet delicious wines. The prices are all around $ 20 a bottle, and I got one of each. They also had this chili powder they sell that I need to go back for.

We weren’t expecting much when we walked into Signal Ridge with our complimentary tasting passes from our stay at The Madrones, but Kendra and Natasha(no, I am not Russian) made it special. Not only were they fun, fact/filled and lovely, but two of the wines were truly special. Skip the Bubbles if you like Roederer, snd move directly to the Watchtower Pinot and the Bordeaux style zin, rare in these parts. And ack about the poster created by graphic SF artist Michael Schwab, a bargain @ $ 25. A fun Monday afternoon.

Our tasting at Signal Ridge was the perfect start to a long weekend in Andersen Valley! My husband and I came here first after checking in at the Madrones for some sparkling wine, which the innkeeper recommended. Aimee conducted our tasting and the wines were awesome! We particularly loved the sparkling wine, which seems to be particularly popular among the locals, and the hard cider(Bite Hard). Also, Aimee could not have been more welcoming and gave us great recommendations for other wine tastings and food options in the area.

Friendliest winetender(is that a word? I’m going with it) today. The bubbles were good and their pinots were nice as well. Definitely worth a look. Plus they sell hard cider in 4-packs. Bonus. :)

Went to this winery after being recommended by Roederer Estate and I am so glad I did. Kendra is absolutely adorable and unbelievably infectious with her knowledge on the wines. Fantastic sparkling and the Watch Tower Zin was velvety, with mild pepper hints(perfect for my palate). They also carry great products. I bought a can of piment d’ville peppers, which went great on ribs. You can find the best hard cider here as well, no added sugars just 100% pressed apples from their property. Highly recommended!!! Thank you, Kendra for your hospitality and kindness!

Great tasting room. Been here a couple times now, and each time the employees have been very friendly and knowledgable about both the Signal Ridge wines and the Anderson Valley. Also helps that the sparkling wine here is top notch and the wines are pretty good as well. Tasting cost is zip. A nice addition to the Anderson Valley, definitely recommend.

Wine and other products from their farm. We bought the ground red Basque chile. Took one sniff and taste — knew we had to have it. They have other products like olive oil. They have a sparkling wine and some locally grown other varietals which were tasting pretty good. This place deserves serious consideration for anyone visiting in the area.

Another cute & friendly tasting room to visit during our Anderson Valley escapades. Extra notable because they have sparkling(Scharfenberger and Roederer are the only other bubbs in the valley). They also had a nice rose and some first-press olive oil that was apparently incredible, says our chef friend who bought a bottle. Signal Ridge is part of «The Madrones» complex, which houses a cute boutique, a couple tasting rooms, and some fancy lodging. It’s just across from Balo Vineyards, a thrilling jaunt across the highway, so you can really maximize your tasting time in this area. It’s a very small tasting room with affordable wines, so it won’t take up too much of your time to pop-in, try the 3 – 4 wines they offer, and be on your way — ideally with a bottle or two. Very friendly staff too!

Damn right, First to Review! Located in the fancy pants Madrones building(seriously, this place ain’t messing around) and not too far from Hendy Woods our group stopped by for a tasting upon recommendation from a friend. Right now, they offer two tastings: Rose of Zinfandel(aka White Zin) as well as sparkling wine. Not a bad way to start a Sunday morning at all! I especially liked the brut, but had already blown my wine budget the day before at Toulouse. Next time! Tastings are complimentary and the staff is very eager to tell you more about the vineyard, wines, as well as their first year’s release of olive oil. The BF took home a bottle, since it was a steal for $ 40! That stuff will gladly top our burrata cheese or vanilla ice cream at a meal ;) It’s nice to see some younger wineries taking over this strip of land in Philo and I hope to visit Signal Ridge on our next trip!
