Holy moly! The reviews for the wet burrito are definitely correct! Most delicious and flavorful burrito I’ve had! The burrito is filled with ground beef, cheese, rice and beans. The tortilla is smothered with a yummy white cheese liquid. Omg so yummy! Definitely a must try! Very authentic flavor.

So delicious! This is a great little spot! The Tacos Locos are legit! The service isn’t amazing but good enough for an experience worth repeating!

Los Tacos is a nice little authentic restuarant. It’s hidden away somewhere on Pines Boulevard. The décor really caught my eye as soon as we walked in. It’s bright and cheerful, with a mirror filled with fun spanish quotes mainly about food. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Only little complaint was that we asked her for water 3 times before she finally brought it over apoligizing profusely. I really wanted to absolutely fall in love with this food… After all they have award winning dishes such as the Wet Burrito and Fish Tacos(we ordered both, please see pics). Honestly, the food was just okay. Don’t get me wrong… It was cooked well. Had decent flavors. I guess I was expecting tastebud-defying flavors thanks to the menu displaying all the awards.

Usually, Unilocal doesn’t steer me wrong. However, today was the exception. The place is small and quaint. The waitress was friendly and helpful. We started with the queso fundido. It was a ball of melted cheese with very greasy chorizo. For $ 11, I expected better. I ordered fish tacos. It was a strip of fish, deep fried sitting on a pile of coleslaw that was drowned in mayonnaise. One bite and I lost my appetite. It was wet, soggy and a mess! My daughter ordered the shredded pork tacos. The meat tasted as if it was mixed with Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce! My husband had the churrasco. He said it had no seasoning and the steak was small. Also, everything was a la carte! For $ 15 for 3 tacos, one would expect it to come with rice and beans! The best part of the meal was the friendly waitress and the Michelada drink. Sorry Chef Omar, I am Not a fan! Unilocal, you disappointed me this time around.

Delicious! Simply the best Mexican you can have. It’s flavor is amazing but then again this is chef Omar Cubbarrubias restaurant. He’s the best! The corn is to die for, strong delicious lychee margaritas, and the quedo fundido I dream about. Love it they are the best ! Suggestions honestly just keep up what your doing and open up in Miami Lakes and put Cancun grill to shame!

Best Mexican in town. The chips are fantastic! The guac is chunky and very good. I usually get the fish tacos or enchiladas but have tried many things and all have been great.

I ordered the carnitas tacos and I must say there was no true Spanish flavor. Cheese is an additional charge as well. they drown the tacos with raw onions and uncooked cilantro. Definetely can tell the meat is seasoned with basic seasoning and not cooked with fresh herbs as it should for that home made taste. Basically this establishment is an Americanized Mexican restaurant. Was not satisfied.

Great food and great service. If you are looking for top of the line Mexican food then you must make a trip to los tacos. For me it’s about a 40 minute drive but is well worth it. Their signature wet burrito is a 5 star quality burrito and also try the tortas, very well done. Prices here are reasonable and good sized portions. Very friendly staff helps your experience as well. Whenever I have friends or family come into town, I always make a point to drag then to this restuarant so that they too can experience the quality and good atmosphere that this place has to offer. I only wish it was a little bit closer to where I live but I will continue making the drive there every now and again. It is definately worth it. So, try it! And tell your friends also.

Great food and wonderful service. Not your typical Mexican restaurant. So much flavor and and the best sauces. Try the chips and salsa. Everyone had an amazing meal. Be careful, no drink refills on anything except tap water. Beverages are cans and the ice tea was 90% ice for $ 2.00 bit of a rip.

DELICIOSO! Who doesn’t love tacos?! Seriously, they’re just like sandwiches but Mexican… And Mexican food is delicious. After years of seeing this place, my friend convinced me to try it out. Hesitant at first, I put my big girl pants on & headed over. Unilocal pictures had me sold before I even got there(thanks Unilocalers!) The restaurant isn’t too big or too small, it’s a decent size. Service is quick, those girls sure are helpful! On this strike I tried the TACOSLOCOS, which in one word I would describe them as CRAZY(which suits their name) Lots of meats, topped with avocado & pico de gallo… It was a party in my mouth, a true FIESTA! The damage wasn’t too bad either $ 14, for 3 overtly filled tacos?! I was in Mexican food coma, my taste buds were happy & my belly full.

Our latest go to spot for authentic Mexican food. I always get the wet burrito which is huge. If you aren’t a fan of cream, the taste can become a little much because there is a lot of cream. Next time I go I will go for another plate. In terms of prices, the wet burrito is actually inexpensive compared to some other plates. You will walk out short of breath due to fullness(if you chose wet burrito) so this is not a plate to chose if you aren’t very hungry. The service is always excellent and they ask us constantly if we need anything else.

I’ve been here about three times and have thoroughly enjoyed the food each time. First time was in summer 2013 and the last time was in January 2015. The service was excellent and fast, even during the lunch time rush. I’ve had the steak burritos and they were very filling and well worth the money! The people I was with had different food(I wish I could remember what they had!) and they all loved it.

The Quick: My God get the namesake infamous Los Tacos. The spot is simple, with plastic silverware, and somewhat tacky yet charming Mexican décor. The food is out of this world amazing. The Details: The wet burrito is covered in the most amazing cheese, it’s literally indescribable. There’s nothing fancy about the spot so do not take a hot date. If you’re a taco lover like me, it’s worth the trip. We literally ate there twice during my three day trip. The addiction is real. Pro Tip: If you order the homemade chips and salsa, they will refill them for you. Delicious. The Damage: I believe it was a little pricey for street style tacos, but the portions were gigantic and we had lots of leftovers. Go go go!!!

Fresh and authentic Mexican food! First time here and all I can say is YUM! This restaurant isn’t so big in space for seating but the food is big in flavor. I had the tacos With carnitas which came with onions and cilantro. I poured the red salsa given to me by the waitress in my tacos and it gave it a great kick! I loved this restaurant, i will be back again. Ps– try the chicken flautas for your appetizer absolutely amazing.

Mi Gusta Los Tacos! After hearing lots of good things about Los Tacos, I stopped in for lunch one afternoon. There was no wait, and I was seated and greeted right away. the tacos(carne asada) came out quickly, and were very tasty. They have lots of flavors of margaritas, as well as a kids and dessert menu. The food was good. Everything had a fresh taste. The portions were solid, and I left satisfied. My only suggestion would be to serve chips and salsa at the table. Everything else points to this being the best place in town.

Stopped by for dinner and this place gets super packed! We grabbed a beer while we waited for a 4 top table to open. This restaurant is small and there isn’t much space to wait for a table inside so we waited down the hall by the bathrooms. The wait was not too long luckily. I wish they offered tacos a la carte so you can mix up the order instead of getting 3 of the same tacos. I ordered the fish tacos which were breaded and fried. The fish was excellent but they killed it with way too much overly creamy slaw in the tacos. I scooped out most of the slaw and enjoyed the tacos much more without all the slaw. My husband ordered the duck tacos which are good too. Really heavy on the bbq sauce/flavor. They have a nice selection of Mexican beers. Service was okay considering how busy they were.
