Do you speak Spanish? Do you LOVE cilantro? Are underseasoned tacos your thing? If so, this is the place for you! Unfortunately, none of the above apply to me. I came here for happy hour with my sister and mom on a Wednesday around 4PM. This restaurant is very close to my house, so I figured it was time to give it a try. When we walked in, there were a few people in the restaurant but not many. Our waiter came over to our table and gave us menus. Communication was VERY difficult because he only spoke a little English and I only speak a little Spanish. It would be nice if all of their wait staff were proficient in English. We ordered margaritas and tacos and snacked on chips while we were waiting. The margarita was OK, but for $ 4 I really can’t complain. Except I am going to complain. The first thing I tasted when I sucked some margarita up through the straw was a hit of salt. Turns out, when the drink was rimmed with salt, some ended up in the bottom. YUCK! I don’t really even like salt on my margaritas and I probably should have asked for it without salt, but I’m not sure the waiter would have understood me. Don’t get me wrong, he was trying to speak English and he was nice, but it was very difficult to communicate with him. Anyway, the chips were good, but I didn’t care for either of the sauces. My tacos came with rice and beans so I decided to spice the beans up with some of the(very spicy) dipping sauce that came with the tortilla chips. This made the perfect topping for the chips! My tacos were OK, definitely overpriced as many have complained. They came loaded with cilantro, much to my dismay. I picked it off and continued eating my tacos. They definitely could have used some more seasoning. Honestly, I wish I would have just gone to the Taco Bell nearby instead of spending $ 14 for 3 mediocre tacos. Eventually, we were the only ones in the restaurant. I had originally planned to get two margaritas but they definitely don’t skimp on the alcohol, and I was feeling pretty tipsy(for reference, I’m 5’4″, 105 lbs). One of the ladies brought out mini strawberry margaritas to us for free. Though I didn’t want any more alcohol, one sip of this margarita and I was HOOKED! I wish the strawberry margarita was included in happy hour, because I can tell you that if it was I would DEFINITELY be back. However, I don’t plan on coming back unless it’s just to sit at the bar during happy hour.

I have head great Mexican in Arizona Texas Cali and NYC and their is the only place in Miami that reminds me of it. The wet burrito to die for the and my fiancé had the shrimp enchiladas which were delicious. Shrimp wasn’t over cooked and chewy and it was a lot of shrimp. Only downfall for me is that they charge for chips and salsa… And I never been to a Mexican restaurant that charges for chips and salsa. Other than that it’s great!

Average. The photos on this site got me real hyped up for this place. The presentation of the food and the décor of the restaurant are great, the staff seem pretty nice, but the food falls short on taste/flavor. I had the wet burrito; it was covered in a very mild cheese sauce and had lackluster flavor on the meat inside. Same goes for the taco locos, described to come with«al pastor, carne asada, chicharron«. Which I would assume to be three different tacos coming with one of said ‘meats’, but all tacos are the same; with all three meats mixed together($ 15, 5 dollars a piece, no sides; not worth it). The price of the food could/should be cheaper.

The food is absolutely delicious. The server is really nice and attentive. I’ve never been to Mexico but if this is really how their food taste, i will go very soon. The wet burrito is just that, wet, big, very tasty. The fried ice cream is really good, never heard of fried ice cream before this place.

I have been to I Love Tacos before and I’m still not sure if I like it or not. I believe the tacos are overpriced. I’m not in awe of them. It’s $ 14 for three steak tacos with rice and beans, but taste as if they lack flavor. However, the staff tries to be accommodating as they possibly can. I do not eat pork, and when they brought out their pinto beans(with pork) the server was more than willing to bring me the black beans instead.

As a non-Spanish speaker I was made to feel very much an «outsider.» It is always a long wait as there are few tables inside and you will be bumping seats with the table behind you at all times. The servers do not clean the tables properly, and the food always tastes very bland and dry. This is far from tex-mex, very authentic… but it just needs more flavor. Service is fast but I felt rushed as they were constantly trying to turn the tables. Also pricier than it should be for the venue…

Food here is great! The actual restaurant is super small but that’s part of the charm. Great for a party of 2 but difficult to come here with a group. Try the guacamole and order a burrito! Excellent local spot when you’re in the mood for Mexican!

We moved to south Florida not too long ago and have been in search for some good Mexican tacos. This place is very unique. Staff was nice and friendly. Food was great just a little bite pricy I say for tacos. Only downside was the sangria. Not a fan. There’s also no complimentary chips and salsa. I love chips and salsa. Other than that go check this place out!

I have been here several times and love the food. I must say though, that my past two visits have been a disappointment. The issue has been a combination of service and food. On my recent visit, we ordered two wet burritos(carne asada), carne asada taco with corn tortilla, and the Ignacio nachos. Aside that the food took a long time, the tacos came with flour tortillas, one of the burritos had the sauce on the side with barely any meat, and to top it off the appetizer and entrée arrived at the same time. As for service, the waiter that took our order was ignoring us because his shift was ending. After I waived him over, he said he would do us a favor and take our order. As stated earlier, this is the second time in as many visits that service and food have taken a slide. It is a shame, I really enjoyed there food, but I will not be back!

The first time I went the food and service was good. They give a spicy sauce which isn’t too spicy, but very flavorful. I had the Habanero shrimp enchiladas and my husband had the Taco Locos which were delicious! The second time I was unhappy with the service. The waitress took our drink order and our appetizer order. Our guacamole arrived quickly, but we didn’t get the good sauce. They had the sauce, the table next to us had it. Then, our waitress forgot to come back and take our order. When she did come back she asked how everything was. At that point we decided not to wait any more and asked for the check. I gave her a $ 20 she brought back $ 5. Tip on $ 14 bill is not $ 5. I don’t think I will go back. I’m sure if we would’ve had the other waitress this wouldn’t have happened. The place is cute and the food is good.

These spots are small but are consistentky good. Great variety of tacos, the best feature is the fresh flour tortillas. We order an order of chips and salsa, the chips were cooked perfectly but the salsa was more like a chunky hot sauce than a salsa with diced tomatoes and cilantro. Service was very good and atmosphere is very relaxing and fun

I’ve been meaning to share my experience about I Love Tacos… finally the day has come! I moved to FL in 2013, and have been in search of my regular spots to grub! I finally found one! AND I’m in love!!! I Love Tacos is the bomb! There has never been anything I haven’t liked on their menu. Not to mention their happy hour with the free nachos and reduced prices on beer! Come check out this tiny spot in Pembroke Pines, you wont regret it.

This place is super… average. My boyfriend and I really enjoy Mexican cuisine and have tried Los tacos in Pembroke Pines so we thought we would switch it up. Both menus have a lot of similar items but for some reason, it wasn’t up to par with Los tacos. Their nachos were enjoyable but extremely greasy. I had carnitas tacos and they were just blah. Nothing out of this world and not horrible enough to send back to the kitchen. I wish I could say more but it was simply that average. Not the worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever gone to but far from being my favorite. I probably won’t go again. Oh and the tables are super small. We had to put our appetizer in the table next to us once the food arrived.

This spot seemed great, judging off the pictures and reviews I saw on Unilocal.I came here with a party of four people. We found parking quickly, since there was more than enough available. Upon first look, the place looks nice. Lots of vibrant colors all around. The tables were VERY small though. Once we received our food, we had no space to put any extra plates. We had to use the table next to us to put anything that didn’t fit on the table. The appetizers we ordered were good. The beef empanadas were especially delicious, and their nachos were COLOSSAL. I’ve never seen so many nachos in one place at a time! Had to end up taking those home. The food I ordered was pretty good: the special spicy enchiladas(can’t remember the exact name, but that should give it away). Everyone else in my party was complaining about the food having little flavor. My cousin’s chimichanga looked very dry and had little flavor. My girlfriend’s carnitas tacos weren’t any better. I didn’t think there was much problem with the food… Til later on the night. I had horrible indigestion from the enchiladas. I knew because no matter how many times I’d brush my teeth, I still had a revolting taste of the enchiladas. The day after I reheated the nachos, and they had a pool of grease. I realized then that the sauce my enchiladas had was pure grease, which is why the food gave me a horrible stomach later that night. Bad first impression, and probably won’t be coming back here. I give them three stars because the service was good and the food I had wasn’t bad, although EXTREMELY greasy. Maybe it was just a freak accident that day, but I’m just sharing my experience.

The shrimp tacos are amazing! Quaint little spot and definitely an authentic environment PLUS the staff is SUPER nice and friendly. I didn’t like the first thing I ordered because it had meat(I’m a vegetarian), they were so apologetic and exchanged it for me without a problem. I appreciate the original Coke bottles(imported from Mexico) – tastes how it looks in the actual commercial :) Will be back and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to eat some authentic Mexican food!

For place called«I love Tacos», I was sorely disappointed in their tacos. I ordered the American Favorite, which is a trio of soft tacos filled with ground pork, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream. My tacos were filled generously, but the wet ingredients soaked through the taco shell and made the whole thing fall apart. I just ended up eating them with my fork. Service on a Friday night was dismal. The restaurant wasn’t full, but our server was rude and inattentive. He kept coming and going, even though we had questions or needed drink refills. I never even got my refill by the time our bill came. And when the bill came, they charged us extra for some salsa we never ordered, nor received. My friend’s burrito was pretty tasty, but I didn’t like my order of mediocre tacos. I paid $ 11 to eat soggy mush… I would have felt like I would have got my money’s worth if I ordered a burrito or chosen a different protein. I don’t want to be so insulting, but I’d rather have gone to the Taco Bell next door. I will not return to this restaurant.

It would’ve started out as 5 stars, but after my last visit with my group of friends, I took it down a notch. The Wet Burrito. It really stands well for itself. It’s one of the reasons why I like this place. It’s the creamy white queso that surrounds the hefty burrito. Big enough to share! My next victim of interest is their award-winning habanero enchilada — I’ve yet to try it but next time I will. I’ve had their check-in taco last year as well as their other tacos on my first visit there. The tacos aren’t so bad, but the award-winning I tried ILT before it relocated, and I like their new location much better. It feels cozier and more appropriate for a date night at night compared to the design interior of their last place. It’s a little bigger too My last visit was great with friends, but service could’ve been better. First off, it smelled strongly like Pampers. Yes, the diapers. We were unsure of the source, and we understood it may have been beyond the staff’s control if it were a customer’s scent he/she left behind, but the odor was obnoxious for a while. Also, when the waters came in, one of my friends almost cut her tongue with a piece of glass found in her cup. Then my other friend had something greenish-black floating in her drink. And my honey had a couple of white specks floating in his drink(we’d hope it was just pieces of his straw…). After that experience, I wouldn’t trust their water. This experience brought ILT to 4⁄5 stars. Overall, ILT is a place I’d come to again, but I’d be cautious over the beverages. When in doubt, get a Wet Burrito!
