Golden Corral

This place is nasty. I just found a hair in my pot roast beef. I will never ever come here.

Definitely not the best golden corral location. Not a very wide selection of food. Not very clean or organized. They only had one person working the register at 5 pm on a saturday the line was out the door. I wouldn’t recommend coming here. You’re better off at a chinese buffet than this.

The place was great the only problem is that they did not have much to serve even though it was slow (barely any customers). The servers are fine, polite and friendly. The place it’s self looks dirty.

I was kind of disappointed with the food selection at this golden corral. Maybe it was because I went at 4:30 on a Monday but I didn’t see as much to choose from as I’ve seen at other locations. One thing that
really irked me was that the food items didn’t have the correct name on top. Also the bathrooms were disgusting… really disgusting like a gas station bathroom disgusting. The waitress was really nice. That was the highlight of the evening.

Not bad, kids like it. Lots of food. The grill station is slow. But its actually very good. Worth the wait. Over all its golden corral. Not bad. One of the better ones around.

I said I wasn’t gonna come here again, but was invited by my boyfriend for a lunch date so I said «Why not, let me give it another try». I wholeheartedly regret this choice and so does my boyfriend. He too despised this place, but wanted to give it a second shot. Never again. First of all, the cashier was so rude to other customers before us. She had a horrible attitude. Secondly, the place is so dirty. They really need to do some deep cleaning and remodeling if they want a bigger turn out. We went for lunch so of course I dont expect the choices to be as vast as dinner time, but come on. They were so little choices, and the choices I did find somewhat appetizing, their stations were so dirty. The food was almost tasteless. I actually felt disgusted eating here. This was the first time where I’ve taken macaroni and cheese (my fave food) and didnt even want to take 3 full bites. Everything is so filthy here! My boyfriend couldnt take it and left after like 2 plates (and hes a big eater). In conclusion, a year later, this is still the worst buffet I have ever been to in my life.

I was very disappointed when I dined here. The food was very salty. I dined there almost closing time and there was still breakfast foods out. The pancakes were hard and the bacon and sausage were dry and crumbled when they were picked up. The desserts also were not fresh. The only think that was fresh was the fried chicken. I must admit the chicken was good. I would not recommend dining at this location.

I am actually embarrassed to even admit that I ate here. I came a few years ago and swore I would never come back. My kids wanted to go because they had a coupon from school. They had been so well behaved I wanted to do something nice for them. I figured for such a low price and a coupon to boot, how bad could it really be, let’s give this place one more shot!
Now even my kids have sworn off this disgusting place. As you walk in, the place is beyond dirty. The food almost looks good enough to eat, but when you actually try it you realize… nope…not actually good enough to eat. My daughter took a pancake and it was so hard it cracked! (Can you believe that!!!) The Mac and cheese was gritty and we all even left over dessert. I will not be caught back here again!

Big parking lot Average food, wide variety of food items, always crowded but I found this location less noisy than other Golden Corral locatios I’ve been at.

The first time I went on Monday night and everything was fantastic. Ribs and steak we re tender. Meat loaf was fantastic. Salad bar was fresh and huge. Chili was outstanding. Went back Friday afternoon, May 1 2015. It was horrendous! Dirty, plates everywhere, cold food out of many things, including meat loaf. Most of the cooking staff was extremely snotty. One lady was down right rude. I spoke to the lady manager, along with some other unhappy people. She just walked away and didn’t listen, or even offer an apology.

I’m so dissatisfied & disappointed in how this place has gone straight down the hill. Barely 8 o’clock on a Sunday & this people have no foid ready, most of the food stations are empty. It’s supposed to be Seafood Festival & the baked fish is no where in sight. Dessert is desserted except for the ice cream & milk chocolate fountain. Oh & some strawberries to dip. About the only thing that’s close to decent is tge salad bar. Other than that is a rip off of money. This company emphasizes in having the biggest & better buffet (if they mean the biggest emptiest buffet) then I agree. I must say however that the only good thing here was our waitress, Ana, who continuously without asking was cleaning our table & refilling our refreshments.

So I’m not the only 1 who thinks the eggs nor bacon taste authentic. Still! I wanted their fake scrambled eggs for some reason.
I came here with my cousin and we originally planned to have breakfast here. I didn’t know they didn’t serve breakfast every morning.
So she called the day before to make sure they were serving breakfast the following day and they said they were. We came about 20 minutes after they open and they were serving lunch.
The only thing I really like is their yeast rolls (hides face) don’t judge me!
This was also the very 1^st time I ever used the chocolate fountain. I tried it with every fruit they had out that day. I was very disappointed they didn’t have banana nor watermelon (my top favorite fruits).
It was a bad experience since we walked in. They use to give you a tray. When they didn’t I asked if they don’t hand out trays anymore. The waitress (cashier was busy on the phone) gave me this face as if I just insulted her and flat out said no!
Rude much?!
Then I unknowingly sat on the side of the restaurant that she attends.
I only had 1 plate and when I went to get another I come back to a tray stacked with plates and cups on my table!
YES, SHE USED MY TABLE TO BUS THE OTHER TABLES! SHE DIDN’T ONLY DO IT ONCE! She didn’t even apologize the 3 times she did it. (Yes I got up 4 times, get your money’s worth)
I couldn’t leave a tip.
When we were heading out a woman who works there was parked across from us and when she stepped out she had her pants unbuttoned stuffing in her shirt, and she picked her wedgie. I’m just thinking «that’s very unprofessional» and I’m hoping she washed her hands afterwards.
On the plus side the bathroom was clean and odorless :)
Does that count even though we came in 20 after opening time?
And the 2 women behind the desserts were sweet. My cousin wanted cotton candy and it came out huge and it was good ;)

I do like the lunch menu once in a while, overall not the best good, also it felt I was being kicked out after having 1 plate, I went for dessert and when I came back the waitress had trays and full plates from other people on my table later I went to find the waitress to refill my water because I got sick of waiting and they told me they would send her over and she did it again saying she thought I had left!!! Annoying!!! But the fresh cotton candy was bomb!

Looking to develop diabetes? High cholesterol and possibly colon cancer? If so, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! So, I come home from school and decided to have something to eat. I wanted something that I could grab, eat and go. I had not been to a Golden in over 10 years and figured, wtheck, why not… biiiiiiig mistake. Yes, the buffet is $ 8.99 but not worth it at all… everything is sooooacked in grease, the service is horrible and when you look around, after you sit down, you see overweight people everywhere… Ive only seen so much people with hypertension together in hospitals… 90% of people were huge, obese… I took 1 bite of some meat and it was the most disgusting, bad quality meat ever… I had to leave. hungry. They should make regulations that prevent people from going to places as such. Do not go, really. Look after your health.

No words to explain how bad it was! The bacon didn’t taste like bacon, the eggs didn’t taste like eggs overall the only thing that taste like it was suppose to it was the water! I will never step my foot in that place! They need to close that place down!

Low quality food, low quality ambiance, low quality crowd. I always feel sick after eating here, that’s why I am not going back… $ 12 pp to get fat and sick? Not worth it.

What kind of home cooking comes from crossing trailer park trash in their Sunday finest with ghettofabulous project bunnies also dressed to make the scene? I’m guessing Golden Corral where gluttony is king and in between hard to chew pieces of steak that would give a dog-​chew toy a run for its money there is plenty to dive into at the Corral: fondue chocolate fountains, piles of fried foods from hush puppies to fries, vats of neon orange melted cheese for broccoli or chili and biscuits, buns and bread literally swimming in puddles of incandescent yellow grease, I mean butter. For bang for your buck, yes it’s a bargain and I’d be lying if I didn’t admit there is a rather large salad buffet where you could keep your waist line in check but when it’s limp greens and tired mushrooms vs. slabs of pizza under the hot lamp right next to the fried chicken, who do you think is gonna win? On the weekends expect to see crowds fresh out of Church and large families; but your next visit is going to be to the doctor because all those calories and saturated fats are sure to raise your blood pressure and certainly contribute to why Type 2 Diabetes is one of the fastest growing diseases in America. Still, to feed a few with a lot and not a lot of money — it prolly can’t be beat — so you all come back now, ya hear!

A Saturday evening dinner with one of my girlfriends and our children. This is/​was my first outing to Golden Corral in years much less my first experience here in South Florida.
The over all service was pleasant. Our waiter always came to check on us spite the overflow customers around. I learned long ago that if your pleasant you receive better service.
The food was hit or miss for me. There was a long line for the grill service, rightfully so seemingly that it was one of the best edible pieces of food in there. Everything else seems to be deep fried over drowned in oil or grease. Although, the children seemed to love the fresh fruit, pizza, chocolate fountain and the cotton candy.
I actually enjoyed my steak it was grilled perfectly! Also the chocolate covered strawberries my daughter made for me.
Other than it being a bit ghetto it was not a bad experience, if you like loud and over crowded. It’s a buffet– you get what you pay for! ;)

It was a steady Tuesday night at Golden Corral. I was aware of a couple of changes in the restaurant…
1. The ultimate wings & appetizer was no longer a part of the buffet, and
2. Two new fountains has been added to the dessert bar
Now you have the option of dipping strawberries, marshmallows, rice krispie treats, etc. in not only the chocolate fountain; but the new caramel fountain and the white chocolate fountain. My daughter covered her strawberries in the white chocolate and thought it was pretty good. She describes the taste similar to the icing she uses on a toaster strudel. I would’ve like to sample the fountains for myself, but after finishing four plates of food, which was a record for me, I didn’t have any more room in my stomach for anything else. Well, there’s always next time.

Well, I know there are some Golden Corral haters. but quite frankly they have great variety of food for the price!
I went on a Sunday about 10:45 am. They serve breakfast till 11. There was a relatively little line and I walked straight up and was able to grab a table.
Breakfast was $ 8.99. While there are a hunch of fattening choices notice the word choice? I chose a made to order omelet with spinach, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms and cheese. However, you could add ham, sausage, and other goodies, if you like those things! The omelette lady was very friendly and I was impressed by her knowledge of many of the customer’s and she even knew a few kids names which they loved!
When my yummy omelette was finished, they were putting up the breakfast, and I asked if they were out of bacon. The manager pleasantly had them make some for me (although they were extra crisp– big time– they get an «A» for effort.
Service at my table was also as impeccable as the rest of the experience. In addition for me, I was able to get dinner since it begins at 11 a. m for $ 3 less per person. I had bourbon chicken from the wok station which was very tasty and a fresh grilled steak! I was surprised at the quality of the beef, very little fat, and I asked her to slice mine in half for a little extra cooking with seasoning and again, the chef did it with a smile.
I will say Golden Corral has come a long way from the last time I wen there. They have a salad bar, honey bread, cinnamon buns, soup, and lots of dessert, including making your own chocolate covered strawberries. I was full, though, so another time maybe!
My only suggestion would be throw in some mimosas and I would be a frequent customer!
