2÷5÷16 Our first time and this is by far the best buffet in the area! There were some items that were amazing and I could go to Teppanyaki just for them alone. Like the coconut shrimp, stuffed seafood mix shells, butter shrimp, and certain sushi rolls. The hand rolls were stuffed with crab and cucumber and were so fresh and delicious. They also give you the sauces(eel, mayo, etc) so you can create fun flavors. There are also certain foods that I would never get here again like fried scallops, cheese ragoons, anything with squid(salad or grilled), and I didn’t care for the buffalo wings although the fried without the sauce were spot on. The dessert bar was adequate but nothing outstanding but ice cream for the kids. The price for dinner is $ 11 for adults and $ 5 for kids, very affordable. I wish I had more self control so that I didn’t stuff myself at buffets because I would probably go here all the time haha.

Excellent! We ate here at the suggestion of the local KOA worker, Karen. Good choice ! Less than $ 8 bucks a piece for the lunch buffet. Everything was clean and delicious. In particular we both wanted some fresh vegetables, we got them. Freshly prepared sushi and a habatchi grill, all for $ 8.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked into the buffet. The décor is very modern and clean. The actual buffet area is huge with many different sections containing a large variety of hot and cold Asian and American foods. Everything is fresh and constantly rotated and replaced. The service was cordial and polite. While most of the tables only have regular soy sauce I spotted a couple of low-sodium soy sauce bottles in the corner and snagged one for the table. The price is excellent for the food that you get, and I plan to return soon.

3 stars from me! As Joan L. noted in her review the prices here are the best part($ 10.99 for adult dinner) however I wonder if this is just a marketing scheme as they are new and prices will be going up soon??? My dad’s friend wanted to come here to celebrate their joint birthdays, and although he wasn’t too enthusiastic he went along with the plan. I must say the place was pretty empty on a weeknight so having 25 people eat together wasn’t too much of a problem. We had called ahead and they did have an area set up for us, but after some back and forth we moved the party to another area which we found more appropriate. In terms of food you’ll find all the standard sushi/Chinese buffet items here, and a few non-standards, and a few things missing lol. As Joan noted they do have some more authentic dumpling choices, though not as many as I would have hoped, and my «shrimp shumai» looked more like pork. The sushi options were ok, and they have a few different rolls(one with plantains on the outside) but there wasn’t any sashimi choices. The raw bar had mussels and shrimp, but no crab and definitely not any oysters. There was some cooked salt and pepper crab elsewhere. The highlight for me was the hibachi station. As many of the newer Chinese buffets are doing the hibachi station is «create your own» meaning the raw meats and veggies are on display so you can pile them high on your plate and then hand it to the cook. Some may worry about the utensils used on the raw meats touching other meats and veggies, but trust me, this grill should be hot enough to kill off anything: P. The cook asked me which sauces I wanted to add and in the end I was quite pleased with my plate of food which was definitely the best of the night. I wanted to finish the evening with some green tea ice cream, but there was none to be found :(. They did let our party bring in our own cake.

Meh — NSM — sushi selection was small & weird, like a sushi roll w/banana slice on top? Raw fish heads, lots of junkie filler items, seems like a low price, low value Chinese knock off buffet, trying to look & act like a higher quality Japanese buffet. No low salt soy sauce option on table, used what had to the saltiest soy sauce I have ever tried. Service was for drinks etc was slow & bit off. Price was good, but value wasn’t.

This place from the outside looks like, oh well another Oriental place like the others, but I heard good things about it and that there is a lot of food. And of course it is brand new! Well we finally went, wife and I and since we did not eat hardly anything all day we were starving. The main doors alone blew us away of how elegant and beautiful they are and once inside, WOW, what a 1st impression. We thinking that they were going to be a small dimly lit restaurant, OHNO!!! It is like a mini world for those that like food served Buffet Style from the Orient! To better understand the amount of dishes, plates, types of food, you have to come very very hungry and eat a little of everything to judge it! I tried almost everything that was out there and it just got better and better and better. Come hungry and leave with a great big smile and a tummy full of great food! «I’LLBEBACK»!!!

This is my «Honest Opinion» and not slander based upon my recent visit to said establishment. My visit occurred on Monday October 05, 2015 and I have to say it was absolutely terrible. The food looked very good but was all COLD and HADNOTASTE. Even the Chinese Tea was just warm and very bland. The waitress came by once and was more busy on her cell phone texting at the waiter station. The next day, both I and my wife had upset stomachs all day. Sorry to say, my visit was the worst.

Definitely not the greatest, but considering the price($ 10.99 for dinner), this is a pretty good deal for the amount of variety you get. The place itself is quite large and clean. The waiters were friendly, but could be a little pushy sometimes in the sense that they wanted to clear the table as fast as possible. If you weren’t actively eating from a certain dish or even if there was a slight lull, they’d snatch it up and take it away. Protip: you can get a free drink if you check-in and like them on facebook! The hibachi grill in the back had chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp, plus noodles and a bunch of veggies. The beef is very thinly sliced, which is great unless they overcook it(which they did… I’ll let it slide since this isn’t solely a hibachi place). Halfway through, you can add garlic, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and/or red pepper sauce. It ended up tasting better than I thought it would, but the beef was so tough I could barely chew it. In the main area, there’s a variety of your typical Chinese foods, American foods(pizza, chicken nuggets, mac n cheese, etc.), soups, and salad. There’s also dumplings, shumai, and buns next to the soups, plus ice cream and other desserts opposite the sushi. The selection of sushi was poor and hardly replenished. It seemed like whoever was making them waited until every single piece of a certain roll was gone to make more. Even more sadly, the fortune cookies they gave us with the check were stale :( Overall, the food was mediocre, but given the price and variety, I can’t complain(that much). Personally, I’d rather spend a little more to get superior taste, but if you’re looking for something decent on a budget, this is the place for you.

Really 3 ½ stars. The food is on par with many other Asian buffets but it is much less expensive than other comparable Asian buffets: 10.99/adults &5.99/kids for dinner. Lunch is $ 7.25. My first impression of the place was that it is huge! There are at least 8 different stations for food, plus the Hibachi Grill. All the dishes are labeled clearly except the sushi. The choices concentrate mostly on Chinese food. There are several stations with Chinese favorites like Sesame Chicken, Spicy Shrimp, Lo Mein, Fried Rice, General Tso’s Chicken, Sautéed String Beans, Salt & Pepper Shrimp, Boneless Spare Ribs, etc. I would say the taste and quality of these items are average to good… nothing spectacular. My favorite items were on the Soup/Dumpling station. The Egg Drop Soup was fine. I did not like that the wontons were in a dumpling bin on the side so they tasted a little sticky. However, did like the dumplings, including the Pan Fried and Shumai. The Shumai was labelled as Shrimp but it did not taste like shrimp to me. I think it was beef or pork. I would like to have seen some shrimp dumplings. I even tried the taro and egg custard dumplings which were slightly sweet and very good. As with most huge buffets there was a station with an enormous array of fried foods and pizza… I did not touch that station. The only one of us who did touch it was 12 year old who got some pizza and said it was not good. There is also a salad station and a dessert station. One of the smaller stations is for Sushi. I found it strange that none of the sushi was labelled. There is a sushi chef right there churning out a limited selection of rolls and nigiri. I tried a piece of a veggie roll and the rice was a bit hard. Honestly, I would not come here for sushi. For sushi buffet I would pay the extra money to go to Shinju. The place looked very clean and the staff was very nice. The food is not gourmet but hey, it is a decent, quick place to feed a family of four for less than forty bucks!

Went here with my boyfriend and a few Friends. By far the cleanest, classiest looking buffet I’ve been to. Because of this, there were many customers which keeps the food coming out fresh. Everything was fresh, vivid, steaming, and smelled wonderful. There is alot of options both for meat eaters and vegetarians. Wonderful selections and even a hibachi option. The buns they have look amazing. The egg custard bun was by far my favorite and was absolutely delicious. The price for such a great buffet only adds to its greatness. Very affordable. Will definitely be coming back when I can.

This place is new so I wanted to check it out. And who doesn’t love a Chinese buffet. The price was great, only 10.99 for dinner. However, you pay for what you get. The food was cold. It did have an ok taste. The environment was really cool, though. I loved the seating and just the overall look of the place. I didn’t want to attempt the sushi. It didn’t look all that appetizing. I’m not sure if I would go back. I will give it a few more months and see other reviews and go from there.

Clean Clean Clean, very nice décor. Staff friendly and quick to please. I have eaten more than a dozen times since opening because of the wide variety of choices and always changing, so no boredom. Soup is always nice and hot. Most days two choices of very good fish. salmon and flounder baked, or/and fried white fish. What I like is that the trays are not piled high so that temps are well keep and they are quick to refill. How can you beat the price $ 11.00 after 3:00 — 3:00 in the afternoon, before 3:00 — 3:30 $ 7.50! No price gouging on the weekends, like most buffets. They listen to all suggestions or complaints, like I said quick to please. Enjoy.

I don’t normally do buffets because of the obvious quantity over quality and I’ve had some bad experiences especially with Chinese run buffets. Most of them, if run by FOBs, seem to think Americans will eat anything fried and or has butter as an ingredient. Just an observation and my opinion because fried food does taste good. It just seems they throw a buffet together without putting in that very little extra effort to make a cheap dish taste decent. With that being said I do go to Japanese buffets because my husband likes eating large quantities of sushi at a cheaper price tag, and though I don’t prefer buffets I can still go for whatever reason. We’ve been here twice. At $ 7.25 for lunch including weekend lunch you really can’t beat the price. Regardless of buffet or not just eat one dish and you’ve got your moneys worth. I like their variety and their sushi is comparable to Publix, which mind you now nothing is even $ 5.99 anymore. So yes, sushi cannot be compared to an actual Japanese restaurant but it’s definitely better than many Chinese run buffets that serve sushi(like China Buffet). Those places just have sushi so they can say they have sushi. In my opinion no effort into taste. This place, it tastes legit given the price tag and compared to others and for more. I like that the sushi is small and it didn’t taste too salty to me. Of course more imitation crab meat items than I prefer but that’s expected. Granted with the variety of buffet items it’s impossible and not practical to have every single dish be top notch regarding taste and temperature despite the dish is cheap and it literally only takes a smidgen more effort to make a cheap dish taste good much less great. This is a buffet after all, but there are many items that I enjoyed. Maybe not with the expectation that I am eating gourmet foods but hey, for $ 7.25 it’s clearly not gourmet and that’s ok! And I’ve seen $ 3.99 buffets in Central FL(that is just so wrong and suspect), so I am not saying this place is good solely based on price, but price should be factored into what you expect. I enjoyed the sushi, mussels, their one calamari dish, apple turnover, shui mai, gyoza, general or sesame chicken(can’t remember), actually most of the chicken dishes and some other items that I can’t remember, but honestly I always get at least two plates of sushi, so that’s where my $ 7.25 went. And to be completely honest, they should and probably will increase their prices. They kinda have to to keep up with their current quality and I actually have no problem with that. I am just enjoying it for $ 7.25 while I can.

Good family style restaurant. Better than take out, not as good as high end or Mom’s homecooking. Bottom line is, don’t go in expecting high end food, and you’ll get a good value for your buck. PROS: Very clean and new. Attentive, friendly(albeit reserved) waitstaff. Quick to clear used plates and refill drinks, and this was on a Friday night with about half the restaurant full. One of the staff came in and cleaned a toilet while I was in the bathroom, and there were plenty of cleaning supplies in there. Toilets were sparkling at almost 8 pm on a Friday night. The menu is a bit schizophrenic feeling at first, but in a good way. Once you get over the mindblow that is pizza, spinach alfredo, and mac n cheese served next to sushi and spring rolls, you appreciate that there are options for kids and others in your party who may not like Chinese or Japanese food. Hubby and I tried a variety of old faves and new items. The vegetables and salads were fresh and delicious. I had a cucumber/tomato salad and a seaweed salad, as well as a hard noodle thing that was new to me, and some edamame. All good. Honey chicken was good, better than the takeout we usually get. Mac ‘n cheese was okay, better than Kraft, not as good as other restaurants. Hubby liked the spicy shrimp. Even our fortune cookies were fresh! CONS: The gaps in the bathroom doors were just a smidge too wide for comfort. You’re sitting there and realize it’s more of a gap than a crack, and anyone who walks in could look you in the eye. The spring rolls and potstickers were slightly undercooked. I liked them, but would have appreciated a bit more crunch. That didn’t stop me from going back for seconds of them, though. Hubby did not care for them. Hubby felt the sushi was too salty, I thought it might be because there was no low sodium soy sauce on the table, which we typically use. Either way, points off. Sashimi was good and fresh. No adult beverages on the menu. If you’re a sushi snob, you won’t like this place. If you’re looking for a decent, inexpensive place to go to($ 26 for two adults for dinner buffet and non alcoholic drinks), you’ll get a pretty good meal at an affordable price.

We have been waiting for an affordable Chinese buffet to come around these parts, for a very long time. We frequent Chinese buffets in hialeah and those are the most affordable we can find at $ 10 a plate for dinner. This place has a mix of both Japanese and Chinese, with a great selection of sushi, now my personal preference for sushi is high end Japanese buffets, but I might consider trying a couple of rolls at this place. I definitely recommend this place.

Typical $ 10.99 Chinese buffet, only this one has a hibachi station. A good variety to choose from but they have a common problem. Like many buffets, a lot of the food is not hot but barely warm. The wait staff was on their toes. Tables cleared and drinks refilled promptly. For the price, a good deal.

I enjoyed this restaurant very much. The food was great. There was a nice arrangement of sushi, American, Chinese, and Japanese food, like they advertise on their menu. The décor is so pretty, that was another favorite part. There was a calm and inviting atmosphere, the waitress was polite as well as the hostesses. I had a nice large assortment of food: salmon, multiple types of shrimp, fried scallops, stuffed mushrooms, spinach, sushi, ice cream, other desserts, stuffed crab claws, macaroni and cheese, and more. I had nothing but nice things to say about their food. My family also enjoyed.

UPDATE Terrible food and they took away half the sushi selection!!! We went on opening day, and I will be updating my review accordingly. The place was beautiful, but the AC was out. Hopefully that’s been fixed!!! Sushi– amazing. Highlight of dinner. For 11 bucks for dinner, a plate of sushi made it all worth it! Not the hugest selection, but about 20 rolls and they were all different and great. Food– very meh. They use a heavy breaking that just isn’t tasty. The only hot food I liked was the coconut shrimp. Everything else was just not of good quality. The egg drop soup was like water. Hibachi– good. The chicken was frozen so I opted for beef. I love that they had noodles and shredded cabbage. They guy was very slow but luckily I only had one person ahead of me. All in all you can’t beat the prices– $ 7 lunch and $ 11 dinner. Very large and pretty place. I hope they read the reviews and make the hot food better!!!

This place is brand spankin’ new! It’s on the corner of Taft and 67th. Very close and convenient considering establishments like this featuring Teppanyaki/Sushi/Dim Sum/Chinese are mostly found further out west in Pines, Weston and Davie. Walking in you can tell someone has taking a lot of time and great care developing the feel of the restaurant. It’s got two big beautiful wooden doors that open you into a lovely fish pond and the hostess is right there to seat you. The buffet features 9 stations which is pretty huge. I mean really! In the front is a U-Shaped cold section. Followed by several rows of hot in the back. There is so much food!!! COLD: Wakame Salad, Neptune Salad, Clams and New Zealand Mussels on the half shell, Chilled Peel and eat Shrimp, Marinated Whole Baby Octopus with Jalepeno, Salad Bar, Assorted Sushi Rolls, Sushi and Sashimi. HOTKIDS: Pizza, Garlic Bread, Stuffed Mushrooms, Stuffed Mussels, Pigs in a Blanket. HOTCHINESE: White Sticky Rice, Fried Rice, Singapore Noodles, Lo Mein Noodles, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Crab Rangoon, Pork Egg Rolls, BBQ Pork Ribs, Salt and Pepper Chicken, Honey Chicken, Teriyaki Beef, Fried Shrimp, Pepper Steak, Skewered Chicken Teriyaki, Snapper and Salmon Filet, Jalepeno Steamed Crawfish, Steamed Baby Clams, Creamy Garlic Shrimp, Steamed Broccoli, Mushrooms in Brown Sauce SOUPSANDDIMSUM: Pork Fried and Steamed Dumplings, Assorted Sweet and Savory Dim Sum, Egg Drop Soup, Hot and Sour Soup, Wonton Noodle Soup, Clam Chowder, Vegetable Soup TEPPANYAKIGRILL: Pork, Shrimp, Beef, Chicken, Sprouts, Broccoli, Carrots, Onion, Mushrooms, Choices of Garlic, Teriyaki, Spicy and Savory Sauces DESSERTS: Assorted Fruit, Puddings, Jello’s, Almond Cookies, Mini Cakes(My Boyfriend Loves), 6 Different Types of Ice Creams This is just what I remember. I have no idea what menu items I forgot but everything is listed and named. So you are not going to love everything but the variety is there for everyone find their favorites and try new things. It’s totally worth a shot and the price point is so reasonable for the incredible selection you get. It’s only missing the crab legs on the dinner menu but I am sure that will come with time as an add on options since they quiet honestly just opened up. It is extra, extra, extra clean and service is attentive. What else do you need if you love a good buffet style dinner. Try it out!
