Newest and greatest discovery… Charming Charlie. I was visiting friends in Orlando, and one of the girls was wearing these adorable sunglasses. When I complimented her on them, she told me she got them at Charming Charlie. I immediately hopped on Unilocal to find out where the closest location was back home. The following weekend, I was shopping and walking away with a bag full of accessories! The store is huge for a place that is 90% accessories. A few items of clothing can be found in the sections, all arranged by color. CC is perfect for finding a few unique pieces to make a specific article of clothing really pop. CC is not as inexpensive as beya, but in my opinion, most of the items are of better quality and seem to be for a more adult look. Purses, scarves, shoes, belts, earrings, jewelry, phone cases– you name the accessory, you can find it here in the color and trend you desire. I bought a belt, adorable pair of flats, 2 pairs of sunglasses, and 4 pairs of earrings for around $ 70. That’s less than $ 10 for each item purchased and worth every penny.

I freaking love this place! I wonder why I never walked into this store before. I must of thought it was expensive. I over love it and cant wait to return.

This store is… well…charming! Rather than most stores that have accessories to match your clothing, Charming Charlie’s has clothes to match your accessories! Everywhere you look there are thousands of necklaces, earrings, purses, wallets, braclets and rings mixed in with some clothes. Oh! And shoes. Let’s not forget the shoes. I will be back!

Oh, Charlie, who said you were so charming? Walking into this accessory store, you can’t help but be overwhelmed and in awe of the amount of pretties luring you in for purchase. When I first walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who asked if this was my first time. When I said yes, the associate squealed, «you’re going to have fun!» And I did have fun. The store is organized by color — pink over here, green over there… If you were looking for a piece of jewelry for a particular outfit, you could walk in, zoom over, pick up a few things, and walk out. However, I am a faux jewelry junkie, so I had to go through the entire store. It turns out, there isn’t as much of a selection as it seems. Many pieces are repeated throughout the store in different colors. Most pieces are $ 8 — $ 10, and that can add up pretty quickly as you fill your basket. In the end, I narrowed my 11 pieces to 3, and it wasn’t too hard — so many of the pieces here feel very generic, and much of the jewelry doesn’t have anything special to it. And, I don’t know, seeing the same pair of earrings repeated in 8 different colors — it just kills the mood for me. I love for my jewelry to feel unique, and Charlie just wasn’t doing it for me. I did get an adorable necklace with a deer skull on it — which broke the first time I wore it =/ If you are in a bind and NEED a lime green bangle to go with tonight’s outfit, I would completely recommend this place for a quick pop-in, pop-out. It’s located in The Shops at Pembroke Gardens, near Fuddrucker’s.
