Food is very delicious and authentic Ecuadorian Food. My favorite is Bandera, which has guatita, seco de chivo, encebollado and ceviche in one plate. I gave it 3 stars because of service. Too slow not the friendliest.

Been here quite a few times with my grandmother who is from Ecuador. The food here is very authentic and very good. Service could be better, but I do enjoy their traditional dishes very much. The lunch special is a great deal $ 8 on the weekday until 3:30pm, and the ceviche is also very very good. Best avocado sandwiches, humitas and fried empanadas.

Because my moms side is Ecuadorian we are always looking for a spot. What can I say, food is good, drinks are decent, good tv spots to watch some sport games. But the staff is very sloppy & if you aren’t a spanish speaker don’t go they wont be able to talk to you in english. We had a credit card charge situation where they overcharged, voided it out etc either their staff isn’t trained to handle a table where different people are paying for their bill separately or what, they decline debit card transactions if less than $ 15.00. Also they need to do some inspections on their tables. My 9 yr old daughter was leaning on one of tables and let me tell you what a scare the table broke of it hinges nails thrown out, food all over very scary situation. My last time stepping into this restaurant.

I read the reviews and decided to come. I am happy not to experience what the reviews posted. The service was great. The food was very good. I had an encebollado and a beer. I am coming back and suggesting you should too. I saved a trip to Doral.

Excelente servicio.

We asked for some caldo de bolas that was on the menu, but around 2 pm they had ran out. Instead we ordered fritada con mote, it was plentiful but on the dry side. I started eating it, since it was dry I ran out of the sauce that came with it. I asked for extra sauce, which in any other restaurant they would have given me, Here they told me I had to order another full dish. I just bought a house in the neighborhood and they surely lost a repeat customer. This is not the way to run a successful restaurant, I wish them luck, they are going to need it.

No Stars! Please do not come here. They give you a Menu with FAKEPRICES! ! ?? I spoke to the useless manager who gave me a poor excuse that the real menu was coming next week. What??? I over paid and they run my cc. After he hid in the kitchen. Omg Robbery! Reporting to the better business bureau.

Where is help me Howard when you need him. I sat down and was given a menu at the end of my service the itemized bill was not priced the way the menu was. I asked the manager about this price difference, He replied the new menus are coming sorry for the inconvenience. Lol and I was charged .50 cent for a to go container. This is one reason why franchise like fridays, and others are full. my fault to venture out and help the little guy. I got robbed. .Buyer beware.

I ordered a corvina a la plancha and it was bitter, and tough. It was pretty bad. I think it was frozen fish. If you come to this restaurant you can’t deviate from the menu because they don’t know how to cook a proper fish fillet on the grill. Prices are average but the quality of the food is bad. Unless you really want ecuadorian food, such as humitas, I Would choose a different restaurant.

ASANECUADORIAN, I was not impressed with the food, went on a Sunday ordered ceviche mixto, the portions were small and the ceviche had the enceboyado base not the other way around. Ayacas were good, need more seasoning, The order of chifles way-too-big. Oh, and there was no rise with my ceviche or roasted corn. Too expensive for the portions. Will try their lunch special some day!!!

Ok so I can see why there are mixed reviews about this place. The food is very good, actually very tastyif you know what to order. As far as food goes, appetizers you wanna try bolon a mixed one with bacon and cheese. Fried/baked plantain with bits of cheese and bacon. Also the empanada de queso. Those are like baked turnovers of plantains and cheese inside… yummy. Also carne apanada con lentejas which is breaded steak and lentils and rice. love it. It’s awesome and the meat is the size of plate. But if you do that, don’t do appetizers. You won’t finish your meal. Then there’s the corvina(fish) which is a like a chunky tilapia but softer. Thumbs up as well. I tried the chupe de pescado, fish stew, it fills you up. As far as ceviche, meh.

Had a very disappointed experience in this place last week, I went into the restaurant, had lunch, left the restaurant and like 20 minutes later called to tell them that I left my cellphone in the table, the manager said that there was nothing there, told him he could check the camaras since they have it all over the restaurant, but he did not want it to cooperate, that says it all. I called again and again and he is never there, so I will take my legal actions.

Food is okay but prices are too high. I would rather drive to Mi lindo Ecuador in Doral and save a whole lot of money. I paid $ 13.99 for a ceviche which was of moderate size.

If you are looking for good ecuadorian food and don’t want to drive to Miami, this is the place to go. I actually like the food much better than the one in Miami and the service is also better. The restaurant is much nicer and cleaner. Great food and decent service. I’m a big fan of the ceviches and the bolones. I have only been there on weekends and the service has been great.

Bad experience, went for lunch and waited for service finally got ourfood about an hour later, waitress even forgot about our apetizers. Ordered la bandera, el Chivo and guatita were not good at all, I have been a fan of Barzolas since the first one in Brooklyn, when I heard this one opened here was excited but disappointed, I will drive a little bit further for the one in Miami

La comida es decente pero muy cara. $ 30 para almorzar 2 personas es demasiado. Puedo ir a red lobster y comer cangrejo mas barato.

TURRO!!!TURRO!!!TURRO!!! Forget about it!!!
