Pearland Convenient Care Center – Memorial Hermann

I had to make a evening trip to the ER as a precaution for some chest pain I was having. Being a fan of Memorial Hermann, I decided to go to their convenient care center ER over the other stand alone emergency rooms in the area. I went in through the front entrance and was asked by the security guard at the counter if I can be helped, (I was offered a wheelchair that I declined) I told her my problem and she called to the back and I was immediately escorted to the doors to the ER and given a room. I was immediately tended to by a nurse and tech. Vitals were taken, blood drawn and other test were performed. I was there for a period of two hours, I was checked on and treated well while I waited for results. I seen the ER doctor twice, about 40 minutes into my visit and again after my test results came back. The discharge process did not take long and I feel I was treated and cared for well. I’m thankful to say that everything turned out well and in the end I was deemed ok. They are converting this location into a full hospital so additional services will eventually be available here.
