Very, typical good bowling alley. I prefer to go here over Aiea Bowl because it is cheaper — only 7 $ on Saturday night for shoes and one game. I give it 3 stars because it does attract an edgier crowd. There was many people loitering and smoking outside. The customer service was usual but if you are looking for a cheap place to bowl with some friends then come here! It’s cheap and they often have deals for specific nights of the week.

Came here for the UFC Mcgregor Aldo fight, and it wasn’t what I expected. This is the kind of place for locals, not in a bad way, since being stationed in California for 10 years and coming back, when ever we would go out to watch fights jeans and a t-shirt was the norm. Here, I felt like if I were to come straight from the beach, work, where ever, I would fit right in and not be judged. Its one of those places you can do that and feel comfortable, and if you can’t accept that, this place may make you feel uncomfortable. It was $ 5 to watch the fights per person, which included a beer or drink. They have buffet style local food that looked catered from somewhere, but it wasn’t properly maintained, had a few flies flying around, so not too good. I would come here with my basketball shorts, tank top, and slippahs any day of the week!

Two words, oxtail soup! I only come here for the oxtail soup which is super delish!!! The service was pretty good here too. The only thing I disliked was that the table was kind of dirty and sticky even after we seen them cleaned it. The overall experience was good though.

This is my favorite neighborhood bar. The food, atmosphere & service is just what I look for. Tasty, casual & friendly. Absolutely love the service I get especially from Tash, Jordan & Mike. Of course, Kachan too. They make you feel important with their professional yet friendly service.

NEVEREVERAGAIN! I had to calm down before posting this review ! Last night was my very LASTTIME I will ever step foot In this place! We have been coming to this bar for YEARS! Had many parties and brought MANY Friends & family here. They had the BEST waitress before named DALLAS! She could service that whole bar by herself AND with a SMILE! They had 3 girls working last night, and we STILL had to wait forever for our drinks & had to ask the OWNER if we could order food! Meanwhile these waitress’s with MAJOR attitude would service their friends, flirt with the guys and take SHOTS with the guys! While we WAIT for our drinks ?! We waited 4 hours before we could finally sing karaōke, while we noticed other tables who just walked in, sang couple times, got their drinks right away and was serviced constantly ! Quality of food has really gone downhill and who the heck runs out of POPCORN?! This is a bar! Foodland is next door, go buy more ! Sheesh! I told you this was not gonna be pretty! So if you are planning to sing karaōke & have some drinks with friends. You’re better off going somewhere else! I hope the owner«Aki» is reading this ! He knows me well, and for me to write this, means I’m REALLY over it! Worse night ever!

Went to Leeward Bowl Bar for a few drinks with some old coworkers. Its hard now in day to meet up with old coworkers since all of our schedules are different but we finally found a day where we were all off. We arrived at around 2pm and stayed until about 7pm. The vibes in the bar were great, relaxing, and just pure awesome. We all had a great time drinking, talking story, eating pupus, and just enjoying each others company. The pupus that we ate were the fried rice, french fries, popcorn with arare, salt and pepper shrimp, calamari, pork, and dynamite chicken. All were very tasty and delicious.

My friends and i are regulars at the bowling alley, usually on Tuesday nights. The bartender, Sabrina, is one of the reason we choose leeward instead of other bowling alleys. Aside from the cheap bowling, good food, and great drinks, she is super friendly and always working hard. There was a bartender before her that was terrible with big boobs and an even bigger attitude. She wouldn’t make our drinks in a timely manner, she flirt with all the guys in our group and paid no attention to the women buying drinks, and she told us there was literally no soju anywhere in their bar, when we clearly saw her make one for people who where already at bowling alley and for customers after us, they had«hot guys» asking her to make it for them. We only saw her once but decided not to go back to leeward for almost 3 months because of her. When we did decide to return we were pleasantly surprised that the terrible bartender was replaced by Sabrina. Hope leeward keeps her around!

Imagine my surprise at being directed to a bowling alley for a great meal experience. Service was OK, nothing special. The food was really good and I’ll be back often. I’ve had the Kalbi beef, oxtail soup, and chicken salad. All were great. Now I need to plan to come back one day and try the bowling!

This is my go to bar. It is first and foremost, convenient. Convenience is a big thing for me. It may not be the fanciest but it has everything that I like. Alcohol, karaōke, darts, relaxing atmosphere, good food, and good people. The owner, Aki, always accommodates us when having parties there. If you are looking for fancy, try the bar next door. Eight50. Same owner. They have more upscale pupus and more of your craft beers and high end alcohol. So, weather you are on a budget(go to the bar on the right) or splurging(go to the bar on your left) or just looking for something to do(go to the bowling alley in the middle) this little section at the corner of the shopping area has it all.

Food price, food portions, service, quality of employees… progressively worse since 7 years ago… seriously…beer prices are ok! $ 7.50 1SCOOP fried rice 2 slices spam 2 eggs Food took about an hour… no apologies about the wait from cashier when I went to pick up the food… If you’re coming here to eat… expect your stomach to be as empty as your wallet Come here to bowl and drink… that’s it

This review is based mostly on the service we received on the evening of Tuesday, June 16. Don’t get me wrong, we actually love coming to leeward and have frequented here regularly for years. It’s usually always super chill and we get to throw darts and have a good time with friends. We’ve only had bad experiences here less than a handful of times, like one night when we got over charged for a beer that never made it to our table and the server didn’t bring us a paper copy of the receipt when we tried to pay. I gave her the benefit of the doubt since it was her first day though. When Cindy was still bartending here, the service was always superior. Kachan is probably the best worker they have, and Tasha is excellent as well. Tonight however, none of them were here, and the service was almost non existent less than half way through our stay. When we first arrived, there were about three or four parties already inside. We sat down and got approached right away. Kevin took our drink orders and we received our drinks almost instantly. A couple more people in our party arrived and he took their drink orders. It took a while for one of our friends to receive her mixed drink, but it was understandable considering the bowling side seemed to be ordering a lot of drinks from the bartender, Sabrina, as well. The other parties in the bar were finishing up their tabs and left shortly into our stay, leaving us as the ONLY party, other than employees who were off the clock hanging out. Basically, there were at least four employees there as customers. Apparently it was Sabrina’s birthday so they came to surprise her while she was working. I don’t have any issues with co-workers coming to celebrate an employees birthday; this was not the problem at all. The problem was that the employees on the clock seemed to eventually forget about us. A couple of our friends got their second pitcher so they were good on the drinks for a while, and me and another person in our party got our second drinks so we were fine for the moment. Time went on and we eventually finished our drinks while our other friends were still working on the pitcher. NOONE approached us for OVERANHOUR after we got the second pitcher and our second round of drinks. Call me a bitch complaining about this, but I personally find it very unacceptable considering we were the ONLY party in the bar who were not employees. Maybe about TWO+ HOURS went by and the waiter, Kevin, finally comes over and ask if we’re ready to close out the tab. We didn’t even get a last call, or at least a comment about last call being soon or anything. We come to the bar enough to know what time last call is usually done so it was strange to expect something and it doesn’t happen. Anyways, Kevin comes over to ask me if I would like to close the tab since it’s under my credit card. I tell him«yes,» and do you know what he does? He goes by the bar, seems to be talking with his other co-workers celebrating the bartenders birthday then GOESOUTSIDE with a few of them. I really wasn’t bothered, until this point. It honestly takes a lot for me to really get bothered by things. About 10 – 15 minutes later, he comes back inside and asks me AGAIN if I would like to close out the tab. I say«yes» again, and wait patiently for him to return with the check once again. We finally get the check, pay, and leave. Now, I don’t know if the waiter was new considering we’ve only seen him one other time out of the many times we’ve come here, but customer service is a really vital part when working as a server. I completely understand that sometimes it can be busy, you’re tired, or there are other things going on that seem more interesting, but it’s still important to always aim to give the customer quality service. I’ve been working as a server in a restaurant that is constantly busy from open to close for over four years so I understand the work ethic servers should aim to have. However, in my experiences at work, no matter how busy it gets or even how slow it may get on an off day, I always try my best to make sure all of our customers are taken care of, especially if my co-workers are slacking. I don’t know if maybe we just came on a bad day considering they were preoccupied celebrating an employees birthday or what, but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had here, and I can only recall about three or four times were I felt service fell short of what is usually is. Hopefully it was just a bad coincidence.

Atmosphere is disgusting. It’s dingy, dark and dirty. Service is HORRIBLE. Everything about this place is disgusting. And the fat girl that works in the front is completely unprofessional and should be fired. I’d rather wait 2 hours at aiea bowl than bowl here.

Great and chillax place to go bowling. I think all of the hype is at ‘Aiea bowl. I used to go here a lot back in the day and bowl with good friends. The morning time is great to go because it’s not that crowded and of course it is easy to get a lane or two depending on how many people you have. I went here recently and it’s currently $ 3.50 during the weekdays and $ 4.25 during the weekends for adults and shoes are included which is a pretty good deal I would say. The alley is located right in the Pearl City Shopping Center area. The entrance is located on the mauka side and there is parking nearby the area. There is also garage parking on the makai side and you can just enter through the alley from there. The staff and customer service is good. Sometimes you will just have to be patient if it’s busy. Sometime there are a lot of older folks and senior citizens doing bowling during the day time. The facilities and such may not be as updated as ‘Aiea bowl but it’s still a good place to bowl overall. Don’t forget about leeward bowl.

The atmosphere feels very dark and dirty here. You can tell that this place has seen better days. You see worn down shelves and lockers everywhere. Mismatched painted walls some are yellow some are white. Needs ceiling tiles replaced. The music is pretty good you hear more modern hip hop more than anything. Very limited in amount of house balls. Some of us could not find the right weight we needed and had to make due. Spent around $ 10 per person. Does not have any military or law enforcement discounts. You have to wait a really long time some nights. We were able to get a lane by 1 am I think we got there at around 11 am

Reserved a table 2 weeks in advance but when I got there, no table. It was pretty busy– it was a Friday night, but managed to find a few seats. Most of the singers sucked and as they got drinker they were more annoying. I waited for about 2 hours for my song to come on by that time u was ready to leave. I ordered fried noodles, steamed fish, steak and fries. Food was really expensive for a small place like this $ 8-$ 15. Food didn’t taste that good either than that great local. The good– it had a great vibe. All locals there, and some really nice old timers. A good option for when you want to meet up with friends and stay close to home.

$ 4 game and $ 2.50 rent for shoes and open until 2am is a decent price, the reason i put i had better was the food service and the bowling balls. It was my first time going there so didn’t know where things are and how it operate. Bowling ball were mostly destroyed, it hurt my fingers inside the bowling ball. it’s busy with people so we got 7 people with 1 lane which it took very long to play 2 game. it was fun because i’m with friends but i had better bowling experience, the reason i didn’t give 1 star is because we didn’t wait too long to get the bowling lane.

Great food but good lord they need to clean the Kitchen, its disgusting. Its OPEN people can SEEINSIDETHEREGUYS! come on, the grease from the deep fryer is thick on the side of the stove, the Hood system looks nasty(The thing RIGHTABOVE where they cook the food) and the floor has the shine of a layer of grease on it. YUCK! Like I said, great food but I won’t be eating there again till the sanitation problems are resolved.
