I would’ve given this place five stars but it seems that they’ve changed their steak sandwich a little bit. It used to be perfect there would be no fat and now it’s like every bite there’s a chunk of fat in it and it’s pretty gross. Aside from that the burgers are great the appetizers are great and the beer is great the atmosphere is fun and you can also bring your children there because the waitresses are super helpful and sweet to my child. There is one guy that works there that gives a constant stink eye especially if you bring children but if you ignore him you will have a good meal.

I received a gift certificate to this place and decided to check it out last night. I was a little worried it would be too crowded on a Sunday night with the Pats playing but it wasn’t too bad. It has a local corner bar feel to it which I happen to love. If this place was closer to where I lived I would be there all the time. There are plenty of TVs and they have pool tables and darts. I was there with my family and after we were seated out waitress came right over and took our drink orders. Then shortly after we ordered some apps. Those came out of the kitchen promptly. When we were done with the apps our meals came out within a few minutes. The kitchens timing was spot on. Throughout the course of eating the waitress came over several times to check on us and offer us refills on our drinks. I was very pleased with the service. The food was good. I had the linebacker burger and I thought it was one of the better burgers I’ve had in a lot while. The prices are reasonable and the portions were large. Everyone enjoyed there food. I would certainly go back to this place next time I’m in the area.

BACONCHEESEBURGER. Get it. Love it. There’s no better burger within a 50 mile radius. I’ve checked. Food and drinks are always good and so very reasonably priced.

My favorite local bar, Sean and Carolyn operate the finest Irish bar in the upper Northeast. Great food, fun times and wonderful people. Great selection of beers on tap. Can’t to go there again soon. Joe D

C.C.‘s is a great place to watch the game on Sunday & eat some pretty decent bar food. They show every NFL game, and I can’t miss my Chargers! The beer selection is ok, but I’d like to see some stronger IPAs. The staff is kind & helpful as well.

I don’t even follow sports but this is a nice neighborhood bar. Really good comfort food! Good salads. Nice set up. Casual meet up spot for friends. Mini Tvs near the back tables. Pool and darts.

This is a great corner bar restaurant. They have many local, craft and recognized beers on tap. You will find several that you like. The reason I go there is that they have burgers that are cooked by humans. Thee are big, juicy, charred and delicious. They added a Rubin Burger to the menu and it is a five star Wow! This is where the locals go for lunch or a burger. Try it, you’ll like it.

This is our go to place to celebrate a win, good report cards, or when mom just wants to have a great burger with the family. We also go with our friends for an evening of great drinks, snacks and to enjoy live music. CCs is a gem!

3.5 stars for the wings. 2.5 for ambiance 5 stars for sponsoring my son’s T-ball team! I’m not really a sports bar kinda guy. I really only enjoy watching college basketball(UConn men only!) & the NFL. I popped into CC’s this past weekend with time to kill & an empty stomach. I knew that I was gonna order wings & ended up leaving happy. While I wouldn’t confuse their wings for some of my favorite establishments they were pretty good. They don’t offer a huge amount of sauce selections. I opted for a split plate of BBQ& buffalo. Both flavors were tasty but the buffalo were a bit salty. There was enough meat to fill me up though & they did the trick. I’m not a huge fan of sports bars & it seems the TVs in CC’s are situated horribly. I can’t be the only one who leaves with a hurt neck from the angle at the bar? They do have 2 larger screen TVs that they have the audio on for which is better than some places that have everything blaring at once. I’d check them out again & I’d order the wings. They’re not fancy & don’t have a great craft beer selection but for a neighborhood sports bar CC’s is pretty good.

I visit here on a fairly regular basis. This is most definitely a local hangout, sports bar, whatever you want to call it. It’s great for a quick bite, a few drinks and catching up with friends. I’ve been coming here for more than 15 years. So why the 3 stars? Like I said, it’s a great bar for drinks and such. The food and interior need a bit of help. They did finally renovate the exterior and I hope the interior is soon to follow. It hasn’t been updated inside in years. Also, the climate control leaves a lot to be desired. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Outwardly seems to be a cost cutting measure. The menu has a few bright spots, the cranberry walnut salad is very good, a bit overpriced but still good. They have a few good wraps and of course the old standbys. Though, I’d love to see a revamp of the menu. This place is great if you’re looking for drinks, wings, mozzarella stick and a bit of nostalgia. They do have a rather extensive list of beer on tap. They definitely have that going for them. I especially like that they have local breweries like Cottrell represented! I will add that the staff for the most part is wonderful. The waitstaff is attentive and on top of things and the bartenders never let your drink even close to empty.

Casual bar, good menu, better specials! Service was good when we went, and the food exceeded my expectations. Darts and pool available, many TVs for sports, and an overall low-key atmosphere make for a great neighborhood feel. Highly recommended!

I went there with my wife on a couple of occasions. First time we went was a good experience. We had a great bartender and the beer/food was good. The second time we went the service was a little slower, but not due to them being busy. The bartenders and servers were at one end of the bar talking while we sat with empty glasses for about 10 minutes. I wanted to try it again, so we went this past weekend and the service was much worse. We had a chubby little bartender. I ordered my wife a strawberry margarita and after filling her glass, he proceeded to give the rest to two girls sitting near us. WTF is that? So, once again we waited another 10 minutes for another beer and drink. This time I told the bartender the serviced was unacceptable and did not leave any tip. Done with that place! Go to Dans Place in West Greenwich, RI… Amazing place.

The food is Great! Great menu. Service is okay depending on who you get and sometimes it’s takes a little while to get the food out… but the food makes up for the wait.

Family friendly during the day or early evening, late night is for the older crowds. The burgers are good, appetizers are fine, but expect slow to miserable service. There are times I’ve had to hunt down a waitress to get the check & then go to the bar to get my own change as the waitresses are too busy chatting up the regulars to get back to worry about the folks who aren’t there every week. If you’re in a hurry, skip it; but if you want to kick back & relax it’s a nice place to grab a bite.

Very nice atmosphere to watch your favorite game on dozens of T.V.‘s and eat some free popcorn. If your more hungry grab a menu and choose from several really good original menu items. Burger was really good and I will return for more after a good motorcycle ride to grab a refreshing beer and good food.

Looking for a casual sports bar to knock back a few beers with some great friends? C.C. O’Brien’s is the perfect place to meet up and have a great night. With high top tables and booths, the open floor plan allows for mingling between groups or a private one-on-one date. They have quite the variety of beer on tap along with bottled beer and a fully stocked bar allowing satisfaction for the wine drinkers and the jäger bomb partiers as well. They also serve excellent bar food until 11 p.m. Their burgers are quite popular among my friends.(I personally love their sweet potato fries and quesadillas). They also have free popcorn! If you’re feeling a bit wired after your red bull and vodka, feel free to play on one of their pool tables or dart boards. Also, if a band isn’t playing on the weekend, they have a juke box you can select your own songs from. The avid sportsfan will find that if their team is playing, it will be on one of C.C.‘s many television sets(about 10 at the bar, a few placed around the restaurant and a private tv at every booth.) If you’re significant other is a Pats fan and you happen to be a Giants fan — by all means come on down on a sunday and have it out over your rivalries, a beer and some nachos. Overall, this bar is the place to be with ample parking and an ATM on site. The owner is amazingly nice, waitstaff and barstaff go above and beyond and are so wonderful, my friends and I have actually become friends with them! If in the area, make sure to check this place out :)

Sometimes you just want to go to a bar where everyone knows your name! That is CC’s for you. My girlfriends frequent this bar nearly every weekend, whenever I am in town I usually join. The staff is fantastic! Over the years, they’ve become friends :) Personally, I prefer the atmosphere on a Tuesday or Wednesday night simply because my friends and I like to take over the place by monopolizing the juke box and playing pool. It is pretty slow weeknights, but not in a bad way. On a Sunday, you can have a great time watching the game, but it is quite crowded so if that turns you off you might as well be boring and stay at home. Friday and Saturday nights are pretty busy, but never too packed to get a drink — at least half the crowd are regulars. If you are looking to meet prince charming, I’d go elsewhere.(In fact I’d probably leave the state) But if you just want to enjoy a beer, play pool or darts and chill with your friends — go to CC’s. There are about 10 bars in the Westerly area(15 in the summer.) CC’s is in my top three. I don’t usually order food(I like to drink my calories) but my friends always do and never complain. Last word, don’t expect anything crazy. This is a sports bar in a small town. You can have a great time, but don’t expect a big city bar.

Well, it’s fine for a bar. Some things: 1. The wings were good, everything else we ordered was kind of Not Worth Eating(the nachos and salad). I probably should have ordered a burger, or something. 2. It is very sports-focused. Each booth has its own TV(is this a New England thing? I’ve only ever seen it on the cape), and there are approximately a dozen additional big TVs around the walls. When we were there the Bruins were in the Finals, and maybe a Red Sox game, and there were lots of jerseys. 3. They do have Cottrell’s, but the non-beer drinks are disappointing. The knob creek and ginger was weak, and the wine was not good. 4. Speedy Ms. Pacman(++)! For fifty cents! Overall, if you are looking for a sports bar with wings and beer in Westerly, this is your place. Or, if you can’t miss the Simpsons during dinner.

On my quest to taste Cottrell’s, I found C.C. O’Brien’s right down the street from the brewery. A huge place, I’m sure it gets hopping during Sox games. With $ 1.50 Bud bottles when a Mets Yanks or Sox game is on, what’s not to like? So I stepped right up, ordered an Old Yankee Ale, and savored it with some free popcorn. Great brew, great bar, great bartendress. They have about 30 draughts available, including Busch(!) which is usually on tap only when I buy a keg of it. There were only a few other patrons when I visited, so I’ll be back sometime soon to check out what the scene is like when the joint is jumpin’
