Donny was so helpful and courteous. We purchased a new phone there and he hooked it up to our existing Vz account, hassle free. This is my go-to store for my phones from now on. Easier than going into SLO.

I poked my head inside RadioShack to inspect the latest cell phones. Pros: + Super friendly sales girl who was more than happy to answer all my questions + They carry a lot of carriers except T-Mobile + Prices are okay on the phones and a few other pieces of equipment + They have lots of odds and ends in the way of plugs, cords and other gizmos Cons: — Non-mobile items are crazy expensive(10 foot USB extension cord for $ 25? Outrageous.) In short, if you’re not in a hurry, you’ll generally get better deals online or even at other local retailers. If you’re in a hurry and you need one of those hard-to-find thingydoos, they just might have it at Radioshack, but don’t be surprised if it is Sticker-Price-Radio-Shock.

Do they even work? They don’t answer their phones.

I just overheard the store manager try to talk a customer into an extended warranty. When the customer said no, «Donny» was rude and said«whatever.» and then told the customer that router would probably break in a year. Seriously? Why is Radio Shack selling anything that’s going to break in a year? My own opinion is that Radio Shack corporate office must be over incentivizing their extended warranties at the expense of their customers.

radio Shack always has the odd little connectors and cables that I need, and this Paso Robles store is no exception! They have saved my bacon with just the right connector on two occasions. Thanks Radio Shack
