Absolutely love this place. Best tasting ribs and prime rib hands down! I’ve been to Texas Roadhouse and it is absolutely better food. We also always have outstanding service as well. Tonight our server was Femi and he was curious, speedy and friendly! He did a lovely job. Excellent food and excellent service. Five stars.

My husband and I have been wanting to try this restaurant so we did on Saturday night. We were greeted by two very lovely and friendly Our server seemed to be brand new and unaware of a lot. At 4:30 he seemed to be in the weeds. During our dinner he never once checked on us. We were taken to our table and was handed what seems like a book of encyclopedia. My husband and I started with an adult beverage. The Margarita was the best I’ve ever had. So that and the hostesses made the visit. I ordered fish topped with crab. I asked if I could substitute rice for mashed potatoes. He said«No. It comes with rice». Oh well… move on. The food came to the table in abundance. The plate was a platter and was huge, which we were not looking for. My fish and crab were tasteless. No flavoring. Nothing. My husband’s pasta was huge and tasteless as well. The pasta was overcooked and gummy. After we were done there was more than ¾ of our plates left. We didn’t take it home and was ashamed that I was leaving it with homeless people with no food. I think that the intention is good just not well executed.

Way over rated… way over priced. Serving staff is efficient but the food is less then quality. Really not worth the price.

Love this place! The prime rib is my absolute fav dinner. I also recommend the raw oysters & caprese salad as an app. The service is always great and the food is consistently yummy.

We’ve been here a few times since moving to the area in January — the food is always exceptional, and the service is usually fairly exceptional as well. As for food, my favorites have been the stuffed shrimp, the fish tacos and the shrimp and grits. The beer menu is fairly decent and seems to change regularly to get local craft beer favorites from flying dog and jailbreak among others. This place, because of it’s convenience and family friendly vibe(our 3 year old can come with us and we don’t have to worry about ticking off the neighbors because it’s not quiet and there’s a decent chance they have kiddos too) has become a go to with out of town guests. Highly recommend!

A friend and I were looking for a place with fresh bread and a salad. They had everything we wanted and more. Our waitress was the best. Kaley K. Was there when we needed anything. But wasn’t when we didn’t. We had the freshest bread. Fantastic margarita’s. Than we ordered the spinach & artichoke dip. It was hot and cheeses. The best we have had. For lunch we had the steak salad with in-house made dressing. Was so fresh and steak was cooked perfectly. Kaley made it a very enjoyable lunch. We will return and will request to have her as our waitress. Thank you for your great service.

Went there for Mother’s Day dinner. The service was great from the hostess to the server. Had the barbeque shrimp for an appetizer and it was really good. They have a great craft beer selection and a large menu. The cream of crab soup is excellent and my Flatiron Steak was cooked perfectly. It was tender and tasted great. We would go back anytime.

The 2 for 1 sangria nights are the best HH around. Half off wine day not so great, only a few included and they aren’t that great. The crab dip and BBQ oysters are awesome. I head here whenever it is a girls night out and we love it. We have had some great service here.

Bottom Line: Consistently good food and service and always a nice casual dining experience. Two Rivers Steak & Fish House is among the best businesses in Pasadena. What I like about this casual bar and restaurant is that the food and service are consistently good. This isn’t a fancy restaurant but when you want to go out for a solid casual dining experience, Two Rivers is a good spot. Here is what I like about this establishment: — Menu: There is a lot of variety on the menu. Beyond steaks and fish they have sandwiches, salads and various entrees. The crab pretzel is a nice way to start a meal and the vegetable stack is surprisingly good, even for carnivores. The warm, soft, buttery dinner rolls are addicting. The menu is not so diverse that they offer lots of mediocre dishes. Everything I’ve had here has been good. — Décor: There is a lot of pride in the appearance and atmosphere of the restaurant. I think the small town façade is adorable and a great representation of the area. The bathrooms(well, at least the ladies room) is big, nice and clean. It also continues the cute river-side theme but is way better than any head I’ve ever seen in a marina. — Atmosphere: The atmosphere is casual enough that wearing a jeans are the norm but some people get a little fancier and celebrate special occasions here. For a private party, you can reserve the adjacent The Reserve banquet room. They have lots of screens throughout playing sports for adults and old fashion cartoons for kids. By old fashion cartoons, I mean the ones I grew up on like Tom and Jerry. — Visible Grill: I respect that you can watch the grill master grilling through a glass window. A restauranteur once told me that the being able to see in a kitchen is a sign of a clean kitchen. If they had shady food handling practices or a disgusting kitchen, it would not be open to the dining room or visible to diners. Plus, I give props to anyone who has to work behind glass while the public watches them work. — Staff: They always seems to be adequately staffed and the staff is experienced and efficient. If you have skills and want to wait tables in the Pasadena area, this is where you would work.

Man, this place is yummy! I go here for the Shrimp and Grits starter, I usually end up ordering that as my meal, it is fantastic! Recently I tried their crab cake platter, it was out of this world! I ordered the cream of crab soup as a side and that was also yummy. This has been my favorite crab cake to date! Service is always great, oh and the dinner rolls, are fresh! I have ordered steak, burgers, chicken everything I have had here has been amazing!

Our event(Surprise 70th Birthday Party) turned out perfect. The staff members that worked with us(Amy, Stevie, Zach, plus a manager whose name I cannot recall) were exceptional. They assisted me with getting the final decorations set up, and they were always there to answer a question or help out when needed. The space was perfect for our event. The food was delicious and plentiful. I am very glad we chose this venue to have my dad’s party. I will make sure I spread the word about this phenomenal venue, service, and food!

I went here for the second time and sat at a table for 10 minutes and by that time no one had approached my table so I got up and left. Just ridiculous how these young adults have no sense of customer service. The staff surely makes or breaks your business. Very sad.

Rather disappointed with the host staff… two us were going to be seated at a large 6 top, the was a perfectly fine 4 top in the corner i asked to be seated instead of the huge 6… we were denied because it was not in the servers«section»? What? The table I preferred was 10 feet away. Some flexibility should be offered and why take 2 at a 6? In addition, the music and crowd noise as I have mentioned before is very loud, some better sound management would go a long way. If you’re lucky you will be seated in the reserve. Well… anyway we took a seat at the bar. Then our Prime Rib arrived before our Shrimp and Grits in which the food runner walked down the bar yelling shrimp and grits, shrimp and grits… I practically had to run after him to get our appetizer. Food has always been good, but service and flexibility make a great experience. Two Rivers failed tonight.

Definitely have to update the review. I still recommend the crab dip, but don’t miss out on the steak bites and white sangria. The service and atmosphere are always amazing and the food is well worth waiting for. This is my new favorite restaurant, I’ve never had any issues here? It’s consistently amazing.

Excellent menu and good prices. I have been going to Two Rivers for since they opened and have not been disappointed yet. Some of my favorites are the calamari, shrimp and grits, pork porterhouse and the ribeye.

Very pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere. Great bar area! Two large bars. Steaks were amazing and reasonably priced. Stuffed shrimp were plump, jumbo and topped with lump crab. I will be back for sure. Very popular place. I can see why. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. If I had to be critical, the house salad and calamari could be executed a bit better, but that is really splitting hairs.

My mom, daughter and I visited Two Rivers last night after passing by a few times and noticing it was always packed, and now I know why! The wait time was 15 – 20 minutes and then we were seated and our waitress was very nice and took our drink orders…1– mai tai and 1-mojito…strong drinks but good! We were given freshly baked hot rolls with honey butter and let me say, we had a bread eating contest because the bread was so hot and delicious we couldn’t have just one, lol! We had the calamari… I’ve had a lot of calamari in my life… it was tender and WELL seasoned served with a side of marinara sauce and a spicy aioli and lemons! I would most definitely order that again!!! My mom and I ordered the 12 oz ribeye steaks w/a side of blue cheese, I had French fries w/a side of honey mustard and the sweet potato mash and she had asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. Our steaks were well seasoned and the fat melted in our mouths! The fries were good and crispy topped with their house seasoning and the mash was sweet, but not too sweet, with nutmeg! My mom loved her asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes! I took my hubs the grilled Mahi Mahi with the sweet potato mash and asparagus… he said he’d give his meal 4.5 out of 5 stars! So all in all we’ll definitely be going again! Oh and they had a live band that started around 9 pm… I loved this place and would definitely recommend it!
