There’s a Valpak coupon where you get 3 platters for the price of 2. That caught my attention, so of course I had to hop in the car and check it out. This clean seafood haven superceded all of my expectations. The stuffed shrimp came in generous portions, the soft shell crab was crispy, tasty and meaty. I will definitely be returning.

The service was great! Prices were very reasonable and the food was excellent. Out family had the steamed mussles, blue point oysters and a tuna sandwich. French fries are home made and the hush puppies were so good! I also like the ambience of the place. Definitely recommend!

Love the seafood buffet! Expensive but completely worth it. I want to thank Ted, the bartender, for making my first experience in Maryland a great one! I had the steamed oysters, crawfish, and snow crab legs. All amazing except the crawfish was quite dry. Had a deluxe Bloody Mary and it had a soft shell crab on top. I had to ask him how to eat it and when I did it was amazing. I loved the atmosphere and everything about my experience there! I searched Unilocal for hours before leaving town for what I was looking for and found all that and more in this place.

hahaha just got a response 6 months after my review from a John H. and I can only assume he works there or owns Fifer’s. I’m glad you found a 2 star review funny. To claim you don’t use old bay on your seafood is idiotic. Fifer’s has Old Bay displays out everywhere. Also it’s Maryland. Me and my friend, whom actually love’s Fifer’s knew there was way too much old bay on everything that we were served. To even bother responding to my review with those comments was petty. An apology is the professional thing to do whether you’re right or wrong when a customer has an okay experience. But thank you John H. I will remember your name now any time I go by there. Also, I hope Fifer’s is spotless because you may have some complaints and surprise visits by the health inspector over the next few years. Good luck with the roaches and rats. Health inspections are pretty tough to pass when you’re not expecting them Johnny boy.

Went for a 2nd time. Mediocre food and unprofessional service. The buffalo shrimp was soggy, the mozzarella sticks cool, and the fries tasted like they were cooked in floor cleaner.
The bar staff sat around socializing with regulars in between texting. I wouldn’t have dared to text behind the bar when I was bartending. Id spend my downtime cleaning (and the place could use a good, deep clean.)
I also saw them bring in some frozen haddock (from the back and through the bar) and it comes from China. You’re better off heading to Cantlers for your local seafood.

Hands down the best seafood joint– and that’s coming from a girl who grew up in SOMD on a boat. Always great service and the best specials. People in the bar are quick to serve you, your drink is never empty, and you will always need a box to go!
I always go for a soft shell crab sandwich — except I enjoy it the next day because I’m already too full from my crab pretzel and hush puppies !

Today was my second time coming to Fifers and it was just as amazing as the first time. Both times I have come here I’ve gotten the all you can eat deal. You really can’t beat the price for how much different types of seafood you are offered. You get crabs, snow crab legs, mussels, clams, oysters, shrimp, crawfish, soups, fried chicken, crab pretzel, fries and hush puppies. I’m sure I’m missing more but the options are endless. I’d definitely recommend those who want seafood and are in the Pasadena area make a stop here!

The place is a little small so plan ahead if your short on time. Food is great! My family and I had the seafood alfredo, fried oysters, oysters on the half shell, blue crab (medium), crab cakes, fish fry, and a pizza. Everything was good and came out in a timely manner.
If you came to the DC B-​more area for Blue Crabs this is the best place we had during our trip.
My only complaint is they don’t do reservations and there was a bit of a mix up with our table so we waited a bit longer. We will be back soon so I look forward to some more delicious food!

Came here Yesterday for the first time. The wait was short. .about 25mins. Our waitress was nice, attentive and quick with our order (I forgot her name). My friends and I all got the All you Can Eat Crabs, the food was amazing! Everything was fresh and made to order. We arrived around 3:45 didn’t leave until 7. Crabs were Hot and Juicy and the Crab Pretzel was my favorite. I def will be going back

The Chesapeake Bay Deluxe is great. I LOVE Fifer’s crab cakes. Deep fried — Yum!! the way a crab cake is suppose to be Fifer’s serves the best seafood in Anne Arundel County. Tuesday nights are half priced crabs. They have the biggest, juiciest fried clam strips I have ever seen. They set awhile new level in clam strips no one even comes close. Their fried soft shell crabs are delectable!

Hit the Dina for some seafood with the family. This place is located in a strip mall and obviously has expanded in the past years. It has a great set-​up and good bar area. The seafood is fresh and well prepared. Obviously their crabs are fantastic per the other reviews. I also highly recommend the fish tacos… freaking awesome!
The wait staff is really friendly and attentive. They have a nice selection of beers on tap.
I will be going back again for sure.

The location in a strip mall is very unlikely, but give it a shot! Good local seafood run by a local band of brothers! Great fried pickles! Try the Chesapeake Platter!

Everything was pretty tasty! We ordered the Chesapeake Bay Deluxe, Seafood Platter and Scallops. All were very good. My absolute favorite side dish was the shrimp macaroni; I could have ordered it for my main dish.

Massive, Heavy Supers Blue Crabs in January! Outstanding! Delicious freshly shucked Oysters! Fifers is a major find. Great staff — prompt, solicitous, friendly. Succulent fried clam strips — so fresh. What a difference. Good thick cream of crab soup with plenty of crab meat.
Located in a strip shopping center not too far from Route 2 in Pasadena. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly people.
Fifer’s is an all around WINNER! Thank you Fellow Unilocalers for guiding us here.

Had dinner here with a couple people on 12÷9÷14.
ATMOSPHERE: pretty basic bar/restaurant…nothing really unique but very clean and well-​spaced tables
SERVICE: the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the service. They were very friendly but refills were extremely slow. Also — we did the all you can eat option and they pretty much never cleared any empty plates, glasses or crab buckets until we asked them to do so. Literally our table was so full things were sitting in chairs and we had to flag down a person to take some things away.
FOOD: Steamed crab, snow crab, clams (fried and steamed) were outstanding! The crab pretzel and hush puppies were very good as well. My tablemates also had the streamed oysters and the shrimp (I don’t care for either) and said they were tasty. The only miss was the macaroni salad which didn’t have any flavor.
BOTTOM LINE: Fantastic crab and reasonably priced ($ 49.99 for the all you can eat menu). Definitely go if you want some seafood!!!
