They have vegan baked goods, y’all! Pros: Cute place with drive-thru that offers a wide menu with reasonable prices. One of very few locally-owned coffee shops in South Houston. Fast wifi, friendly staff. Cons: milk is sometimes burnt or improperly foamed, espresso is just okay. Tea is expensive and a very small size. In spite of that, I do recommend this place as a study/work spot, or just a place to grab a quick coffee.

If you live around the area this place is great if you want to try a different coffee place that is not main stream. The place is unique and very cozy, the selection of food is mainly pastries to go with your choice of coffee, but their is other food like sandwiches. They also have an outside area where you can sit and enjoy your coffee. If love how they have drive thru available as well .The environment reminds me of something you would find in midtown Houston.

A great coffeehouse to sit back and relax. It’s a little pricey, but the friendly barista makes it worth your while. Enjoy!

Stopped by for an iced coffee. They did a good job with it and they offer soy or almond milk for us lactose intolerant people. The prices are fair and they have a nice assortment of pastries. The place has nice spaces for work, study, or chilling out. I’ll definitely be back.

I’m so glad Pasadena finally had a nice little coffee shop. I came back for some errands and I accidentally found this little gem. It was a cute, vintage style atmosphere with great tunes on the radio. The staff was extremely helpful and very, very nice. The area was very clean and they had places to sit inside and out. I will surely be back!

Vegan peanut butter brownies! We Unilocaled for coffee and found this true gem. Cute and cozy atmosphere, tasteful music, décor classy, nice selection of teas, coffee and sweets, and very friendly service. Will definitely be back. Hopefully they will add more vegan options.

Not very many times do I use the word quaint but it definitely was a quaint café. It is a rustic house converted into a café. We drove down Pansy Street wondering if this place existed and then all of a sudden BOOM there it was on the corner. In the middle of a residential neighborhood. I have been wanting to visit for over a month and today was the day. The place was empty so we had it all to ourselves. Our server was a very friendly Jimmy even though he was not much of a conversational person. I ordered an Americano and quite honestly it was the weakest Americano I have ever had. Did he forget the shot of espresso? My wife had the Chai Latte which she really liked. We then ordered some breakfast items. I had the spinach and bacon quiche. My wife liked it better than I did. Not bad more like meh. My wife ordered the breakfast taco. Now that was awesome! It had egg, bacon, cheese and potato. More importantly it had flavor. Guess next time we will switch our orders. The bathroom was very clean. They had places to sit outside but definitely not in today’s cold. I guess the quaintness(there is that word again) and the Wi-Fi pushed it over to the 4th star. I will come again but I will ask about that missing shot of espresso.

I’ve been here in the morning and had the Pumpkin spice, it was excellent, little foam decoration and everything. Went back recently in the afternoon and through the drive thru, ordered 2PSL and 2 brownies. The guy at the window was very nice and even tho he had already charged me for my brownies, he came back and said they were out of brownies. I was disappointed and almost threw everything down and left lol jk I said ok… what else do u have with chocolate? He ended bringing me some squared thing that seemed to have a lot of stuff on top and was more expensive than my brownie. I think it was some sort of fudge. I don’t remember the name… some weird name for sure… heavenly something… I give up! I dunno… had a bit of chocolate, coconut, some sort of nuts. It was okay just extremely sugary… like I was dying for some water and all I had was coffee! Ok now for my real complaint, the coffee was very blah this time around. Really strong(starbucks strong) and not enough PS flavor! Maybe it was because it was after 5 and I got the leftover or maybe the guy in the afternoon isn’t very experienced in making coffee… I dunno. I’m not ruling this place out tho… it’s a great little spot, relaxing, homey, warm looking. Next time tho, I think I’ll stick to the morning guy and maybe try the breakfast tacos.

I’m native to the area, and it was only when I came back for the holidays that I’ve come by this place. It’s gorgeous, quiet, and super affordable. Wonderful food — I highly recommend the pumpkin cake with icing, made in tres leches style, or the breakfast tacos. They’re delicious. I’m not a coffee drinker, so I can’t vouch for the coffee quality, but my friend and I often meet here and she orders a coffee. I’m a tea person, and I can tell you they have a great mix of herbal and caffeinated teas — peppermint, several black-tea based options, and two green ones. They also sell mugs, bagged coffee, and artwork. This place is one of my favorites.

I am so happy I finally stopped here after driving by for over an decade. The coffee tasted very fresh and was over half the price of Starbucks. I will definately be stopping by. Everyone from the staff to the customers inside were super friendly. The breakfast taco and the cake a I bought was very delicious.

Fantastic little coffee shop. Has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing coffee. Jackie(the owner) is a really sweet lady –she owns Silver Sycamore Tea Room too. The sweets here are just so delicious, especially the zucchini bread. Last time I went I had their Honey Macchiato and it was beautiful and delicious! The décor is lovely and they have outside chairs which are great to sit at and sip on your coffee on a cool day. They also sell local honey here, cups, art & coffee by the bag. Free Wifi and a nice quiet atmosphere to just sit and relax in. This place is definitely worth a visit and is a real hidden gem.

We finally had a chance to stop in and have taste. We had Gun Powder hot tea and a Hazel Nut Latte. The latte tasted great and was comparible to a Starbucks for half the price. The coffeehouse is warm and inviting with small tables and two couches in the middle. Free wifi and they sell mugs, local honey, coffee by the bag… a cute place to visit if tourists and a comfy spot for locals who want to stay out of the busy big chain coffeehouses.

I am so happy I discovered this coffee shop! The location is away from everything but just a cute little place. It smells delicious upon entering. I saw a review saying their pastries needed help but they looked delicious! They have a drive thru, which makes me So happy! I ordered the sugar free vanilla latte. It was really good! Good foam is hard to come by. It tasted like roasted marshmallows almost. The ONLY reason I am not giving this place five stars was the foam art on top. I guess I had high expectations after seeing the bear foam art on the Unilocal pictures. But I got a blob on top. I just wanted a bear Will def be coming back.

Tried this place for the first time today. It’s just down the street from church, we thought we would give it a try. It’s located in a actual house, which is awesome! Very homey feel, small and comfortable. Staff was very nice. I can see myself hanging out here before I could a chain coffee house. Will for sure be back soon!

I had NO clue this place existed until my friend recommended it to me and all I have to say is that I am oh-so thankful she did. I came in to grab a cup of coffee before band practice one day and it was empty but very cozy. The guy behind the counter gave us a warm welcome and helped us choose items that fit our taste. I got a vanilla french latte and my boyfriend a smoothie and some macaroons. It was all so lovely! It is a refreshing place to visit since it is the only coffee place that I know of that isn’t the generic kind. I am definitely coming back for more and preferably to come study since it is such a relaxing place.

See, this is why I tend to be pretty positive about Unilocal.I’ll type in ‘cafes’ and then amidst the many generic coffee places, a little ray of light will be shining to let me know there is still something other than burnt espresso — side-eyes Starbucks tbh — for a morning coffee run. This place for some reason(for purely exterior reasons) reminds me of The Hobbit; they converted a home into a business, and for that, I’ve got great expectations. My mom and I drove there Sunday morning after church to try it out, but when she googled their address it said they were ‘currently closed’… called them, turns out the restaurant across the street — which is their sister business … maybe mother business, since it existed before the coffee place did — is closed on Sundays. Phew, glad we cleared that up. I was going to be disappointed if I couldn’t try this place. It’s very rustic and Kinfolk-sy and reminds me of Agora — another great coffee shop in Downtown — ambience-wise. Lots of wood, lots of kitschy little treats like raw honey and homemade zucchini bread, organic/gluten-free/health-freak-esque bars on the front counter. My kind of place, to be honest. I got a chai latte, with the necessary almond milk substitute(they also have cashew and soy) and my mom got her norm at any coffee shop, iced latte, no sugar or flavors. My little sister got a lemonade and apparently it was just AMAZING. I’m sold. The chai latte was steeped fresh and had the most beautiful blend of flavors in it, without any icky burnt aftertaste. And it also wasn’t super sweet. I’ll be back to try their Honey Macchiato, it was one of their specialty drinks for the day.
