Silver Sycamore Bed & Breakfast

It’s okay. No Swiss cheese and no jalapeños. Not even one to best burger in Pasadena. The burger was okay. The Fries okay. The regular unsweetened tea was okay. Perhaps a bit too heavily spiced. Utterly forgettable. Should have gone to whataburger

I love staying here! It’s outside the big city, so you’re away from the craziness. But it’s still close enough to go do whatever you like. The people here are so friendly and the rooms are so cute! I’d recommend coming here :)

We booked 2 of the cottages for a week-​long trip to visit family. We booked these based on the free daily breakfast and the location was very close to where our family lives. Imagine our dismay when we arrived and found we wouldn’t receive a «delicious homemade breakfast» as promised on the website, but a danish and coffee at the coffee shop a block away. Okay, we can roll with that… but the employee working the coffee shop didn’t know anything about this arrangement so we missed out on breakfast for the first 2 days.
Strike 2 came when we checked out our cottages (the Victorian Tulip and Rustic Oaks) and realized they were glorified shanties. The showers had zero water pressure and were tiny. Plus, they had clearly been varnished recently as there was a strong odor in both.
Strike 3 came when I had to purchase my own toilet paper because we had been left with only half a roll when we checked in.
We saw the owner a few times over the week that we stayed there but she was clearly much more interested in readying the wedding venue for two large events the upcoming weekend.
Bottom line: NOT worth the price. Do yourself a favor and stay at a hotel!
