Office staff is horrible, never answer phones, the answering service during lunch breaks will not take messages they and I quote say” we are instructed not to take messages as the Dr’s office never returns calls” the Nurse I spoke to yesterday RUDE! I said I didn’t feel well she replied then go to the ER! WHAT??? I am going to my insurance company next to ask that this Dr be removed from my insurance company plan! He as in Dr Mena, is sharp and medication worked amazing on me but that staff and lack of real care for a patient STINKS I think that somebody needs to pay much closer attention to what the heck is going on in that office Is the staff running that office or is the Dr?

I’m a nurse and one of the patients I take care of is coming here to see Dr Mena for her liver condition. The problem here is the service given by the two women that are in the office. I needed to check on my patient’s medications that were prescribed by the doctor and neither of them seemed to know what they were doing. They couldn’t pronounce the names of the meds properly, it took numerous call backs to get the prescription verified by the doctor, and overall service was slow. It took days to get this done. This is a bad thing when a patient needs to get their prescriptions from a pharmacy filled right away to treat their condition. Maybe they can handle simpler responsibilities, but the communication with the office staff was bad.
