Not happy with Dr. Fu. Gave my insurance information to get my price for a colonoscopy. I was told how much it will cost out of pocket so I scheduled my appointment. No one mentioned anything about extra $ 400 until I was already in the gown on the table and she says I will have to pay the extra money. She did ask, «is ok?» and what am I supposed to say? I’m starving, half naked, arse in the air… Dishonest Dr. I did not hear anything from the receptionist or nurse.

Yes. One of the best. Twice she did the colonoscopy for me. The 1st time there was a good size pollen and she remove it right there. Five year later check up, everything is ok. Thank you Doctor.

I am a healthy, fit 30 year old woman who though colonoscopies were for old people or folks that have serious health issues. Although I feel healthy as an ox, something is amiss when it’s time to drop off the kids at the pool. A few months back, I guessed that a colonoscopy was in my future, but I wanted a female GI to perform the procedure. After much internet research I found Dr. Casey Fu: one of the few female GI’s in the greater Los Angeles area, and one of the best. I drew up my courage and stopped by for a visit in her City of Industry office(which took me over a month to book, by the way… this woman is popular!). Not surprisingly, she convinced me that having a colonoscopy was a good idea. She was really clear about explaining the different kinds of problems that can develop in the large intestine that could be causing my… ahem…problem. She is smart, knowledgeable and no nonsense. At the end of the day, I caved when it came to getting a colonoscopy done because I want to have a long healthy, happy life. I scheduled and early morning appointment about a month after my consultation, and shortly afterward received paperwork in the mail that detailed how to prepare. If you’d like to know what to expect from a colonoscopy, ready my review on the Pasadena Endoscopy Center.
