We sat here for 15 minutes with servers walking by and no one stopped by to ask if we were being helped, while people who walked in after us had their orders at their tables! This is pretty pathetic for a restaurant with such great ratings. Won’t be back!

The bad reviews on here are from haters. The thin and crispy pizza is the best at Vinto. The ambience is great for a pizza restaurant. I live in Miami Beach and wish there was a Vinto near me. The menu is creative and diverse. You can even get the pizza gluten free. The staff is super helpful and will do whatever is necessary to make your experience great. We ordered three pizzas and salads for four people and it was just right. I stayed in Park City for a week in June 2016 and Vinto was one my best meals.

This spot is super legit. I can’t emphasize this enough. Only a couple restaurants in Park City have inspired me to review them, and this was our best experience. I read a review on Unilocal from a person in LA, exasperated by the fact that Vinto doesn’t have 5 stars. I completely understand and agree, but Unilocal is what it is, and there are enough Unilocalers that love sausage baguettes enough to push Dunkin Donuts to 4 stars, yet mark down a restaurant for one server’s mediocre night. The food here is outstanding. We had the bruschetta to start and it was fabulous. I consider it a must have. My wife and I then split a Caesar salad, which was also good. For my main plate I had the pizza with wild mushrooms, fontina, garlic, pancetta, and other delicious items. The crust was light and crispy. My wife had a pasta with wild mushrooms as well, and it too was fantastic. The service was great and the ambience was outstanding. Our only regret was that we didn’t try this place earlier in our trip. Don’t repeat our mistake. If you’re reading this, go there. Now.

It’s a joke that this place isn’t 5 stars. I’m from LA and visit Park City often and every time I am in town, I go to Vinto. Frankly, it’s disappointing that Vinto isn’t in LA… I’d eat there a lot. I went to Vinto over Memorial Day weekend and it was even better than I remembered. The chopped verdure salad is to die for and is even better with chicken and pancetta(it’s off menu, but they’ll do it for you). The patate pizza is out of this world and I’m always happy when I try the specials. Also, the Apple Crostini is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had, and I’m a die-hard chocolate lover. And don’t forget the Gelato! It’s so good. Vinto is the only game in town when it comes to casual gourmet dining. I have eaten and will continue to eat there every time I’m in PC.

Just got back from our vacation in Park City. We ate out all meals for 4 days but one of best meals was VInto on Main St. If you like fresh Italian food where you can taste your different spices and pastas cooked to perfection and not over done this place is for you. There was a great variety of pizza also with a nice thin crust which we shared. We were very fortunate the weather was beautiful and were able to sit on the patio. But as I walked inside to use the rest room I loved the ambience inside also. Either place would be enjoyable. Great find!

Super solid value meal in park city. So many restaurants on Main Street price at $ 40 – 50 for mediocre food. Vinto is a no ressie joint with pricing about ½ that of upper Main Street locals. Food is good. Not great but decent especially when factoring in the price. Vinto might have been 3 stars for food but I upped it given the extreme value relative to other joints in downtown park city. It’s mostly pizza and pasta but they offer gluten free options as well. If it’s ski season, be prepared to wait. That’s the downside.

I’ve been a loyal fan of the Salt Lake City location and had to jump on the opportunity to get my Vinto fix while I was in Park City. The location is conveniently located on Main Street and was very easy to find. The restaurant design is very similar to the no-longer-present Salt Lake City location, but I really liked how spacious it was. We were celebrating my friend’s bachelorette party and arrived around 8.30PM on Friday night. We were seated in a booth within minutes and water bottles arrived to the table. We brought a bottle of wine and champagne to share for the table and the waiter was quick to uncork and chill them for us. The $ 8 corkage fee is a steal of a deal! I ordered the Regina pizza and it was as delicious as I remembered it; fontina really is the best cheese for pizza. Two girls ordered the Margherita pizza and raving about it all night. Although simple, Vinto uses quality ingredients and cooks it well. My very picky friend ordered the Tuttabella pizza and was the first to finish her entire pizza despite her food arriving last. Another girl couldn’t resist the concept of potatoes on pizza and ordered the Patate pizza, which she highly enjoyed but the amount of arugula was a little overwhelming for her. The Chicken Caprese Panini was also ordered and my friend thought it was a good amount of food and the flavors were good, although she did not manage to eat the entire thing. The waiter taking care of our party was prompt to refill glasses and was very receptive to our requests and time constraints. We had a fun time at dinner and were glad we chose Vinto for this occasion.

This place is away from the busy part of Main Street, but worth the walk. There were shops and galleries along the way. Pizza was very good, nice thin crust. The apple crostata was the BEST! A must have! The server was helpful and friendly, and best of all, the prices were reasonable compared to the restaurants in the center of Main St.

Had a nice first visit at Vinto last night. We were feeling especially hungry and went in at 5:30pm — apparently this was a great choice because when we left(an hour later) there was a line to get in! For starters we shared the tapenade trio which I really liked and came with grilled flatbread, as well a roasted cauliflower special. For mains, my boyfriend had the tuttabella which he enjoyed, and I made my own pizza by adding prosciutto and mushrooms to a margherita. We left very happy and content with the food, the service which was very friendly, as well as the price. For 2 people, we spent $ 70. We did bring in our own bottle of wine(which we purchased right across the street at Old Town Cellars!) and corkage was only $ 8. For a casual night and a pizza craving, I would definitely recommend Vinto!

This is a super solid restaurant. Everything was great and I’m giving it the extra star for value. It’s right in the heart of Park city in a very touristy area so extra star for being honest Great place for families.

Great, and doesn’t cost two arms and a leg ala the other Park City heavy hitters. Maybe the rent is less on the North edge of the popular area, as Vinto downscales by calling itself casual and brings in families with a pizza centric menu. Nice thing about kids in PC wintertime is they’re too tired from skiing to have the energy to throw tantrums:) Has a small trifold menu and a daily special for each category. ALL items in our visits have been recommendable. Bits I wasn’t fond of were because I’m rarely fond of them, still prepared well. Meat & non-meat well covered. Italian, so dairy-free isn’t prevalent, yet goat cheese items may help you out. Beer note: open at times Wasatch Brewery isn’t and has Polygamy Nitro. Many many places have plain Polygamy, but it’s worth finding its upgraded sister-wife. Her and an awesome personal pizza for about $ 20 will be your the best little dinner in town.

We have been here two times now, each one year apart, and I will tell you overall this is my favorite spot. Not too pricey, super, super fresh!!! Each time I have ordered the specials. The special pizza and the special pasta. They have a small list of special meat, pasta, appetizer and pizza. Then there is the traditional standard every night menu. The husband has ordered the meatballs twice. I like them! Ask for extra bread though!!! Today I ordered a blood orange margarita. Now this margarita was to come with tequila. Nope not for me. I am a gin girl though and through. So this is Utah and before today I would have told you I will never have a good drink on this state. I was wrong. Blood orange margarita with GIN is where it’s at!!! Let’s not forget dessert! Awesome! Overall, I highly recommend this place and I feel the menu is more kid friendly if you brought the family:)

It was National Pizza Day and after a long day of skiing, pizza sounded like a fantastic idea! After walking by Main St Pizza & Noodle and a few other pizza places, I thought it best to Unilocal pizza in Park City before choosing a spot for this very important national holiday. That’s how we ended up at Vinto and I am so happy that we did end up there! First of all, it’s only $ 1 an ounce for their house red and white wines. Whaaaaaat?! Yes, please. After a glass of red, we started with the meatball appetizer. Now, I know you can’t see me, but I’m doing that thing that Italian chefs do(in the movies anyway) where I kiss my fingers and throw my hand into the air and say«Perfecto! Delicioso! Benne benne!» As you can guess, the meatballs were awesome — and the house made marinara, even more so. After that, we ordered the verdura salad. The flavors went together nicely — my only criticism is that even though it’s a «chopped salad,» they could chop the ingredients a little less. It’s annoying when a chopped salad is cut too small, it’s hard to get a good bite. Then, we moved on to the Regina pizza. The forest mushrooms were SO tasty and well-cooked! If you are a mushroom fan, get this pizza. The crust was also nice and crisp, but not too thin. Lastly(and after much more wine), we had the seasonal gelato — a combination of 6 different gelato flavors. I don’t care how full you are — order this. Gelato is incredible and if you don’t get this, you’ll wake up feeling like a shmuck. It’s delicious, just do it. You have a lot of choices in Park City — you will not regret choosing this place. OH!!! And I almost forgot — we sat at the bar and our server was Patrick — he was awesome. He helped us choose the right menu items(though I doubt you could go wrong) and laughed at all my dumb jokes. I love him — if it’s just two of you, sit at the bar, the company is worth it.

This may turn into our go-to spot for a casual meal. Absolutely terrific pasta dishes($ 13 each) and pizza, nice wines by the glass at reasonable price($ 8), and a gelato sampler to finish along with espresso. Tonight 3 of us shared the fettuccini with mushrooms and artichokes, the daily special penne with short rib ragú and a sausage pizza. All dishes were simply prepared and excellent. We also had the ensalada mixta w balsamic vinaigrette and glasses of Pinot noir and a nice cab. Exceptional prompt, pleasant and spot on service enhanced the meal, and a clean, contemporary décor set the tone. I coveted the cool, large light globes over the tables. Outside is the quiet end of Main Street, with outdoor fire pits for passerby to warm themselves. One of the better values for a very nice place for a meal, and even able to carry on a conversation.

I’ve eaten at Vinto multiple times and it has never disappointed me. The meatballs appetizers are well done. I am a meatball fan, and few places do them really well. Other than Vinto, I’d say Michaelanglos and Trio have great meatballs as well. But back to my review– the salads are delicious and the pizzas with wine very well done. Service has always been good and I love the décor as well.

Funky little pizza and pasta joint at the end of Main Street across the plaza from Mustang. Sparsely decorated with a few bat-cave-like booths, obviously for kanoodeling pizza lovers. Rest of the seating area are four-tops that are simple wood and chair setups. There is a small bar. Nothing to write home about as per the wine and beer selection, but there are some respectable Italians represented. The four of us split two pizzas and two salads. Mrs. Larry and I selected the chopped Italian, which was a bit too«regular». Seemed to us the ingredients were prepped ahead of time and just added to the bowl at the last minute. The chunkage was just too even to have been really chopped. Not a big deal, but not what we expected. The pizzas were quite good but we all agreed that 30 seconds longer in the oven would have helped with the crispianity, but even so, they were pretty dog-tasty. We had the Patate and our dining companions had the Florentine. I didn’t think potatoes on a pizza would be that great, but the arugula and truffle oil made it quite nice, although you could prolly put truffle oil on a roasted axe head and I’d eat it. Florentine was also good. They have the regular toppings, but they are creative with most of the pies and therein lies the sweet spot. The two pies and two salads were more than enough. Desserts were not up to par, however, seemed to be somewhat thrown together as an afterthought although the presentation was Smooove. I suspect they will get better as the ski season gets underway. Oh, they had daily specials which all looked good too. Our server was excellent, with a great sense of humor, but his name was something like Bill or Dave, so Larry decide to call him Bruno. You jest gotta have an Italian name to work in an Italian restaurant. Nametaggage should be adjusted immediately. Didn’t try the pasta, but will on the next trip. And there will definitely be a next trip. Ciao.

Not the biggest fan of this place, but it wasn’t terrible. It was great that they had gluten-free pasta and crust available for the pizzas. But as with almost every place that makes gluten-free pizza, it’s really tough to get the crust just right since gf bread products have the tendency to burn really easily. We ordered the fire-grilled artichoke hearts as an app and the Bianca pizza with prosciutto for dinner. The artichoke hearts were hearty(no pun intended) and were served on a bed of arugula, which gave the dish a nice peppery flavor. As for the pizza, the toppings were delicious and the flavors blended well, but the outside of the crust was charred(see photo). Lesson learned: next time stick with pasta. Overall the ambiance was pretty blah. The place was basically empty around dinnertime and it didn’t have the homey feel that most casual Italian restaurants have. Would maybe try it again and give the pasta a shot.

I have to say this was some of the nastiest pizza I have eaten. I was up in Park City and we wanted a small bite to eat, so me and some friends went in to try some pizza. We got the Florentine and the Blanca, and shared them. This place tries to have authentic Italian pizza, but it was so far from it. I have been to Italy and that pizza is amazing, I am even okay with delivery pizza, but this was nasty. It smelled terrible, which was bad enough, but I powered through it and ate some anyways. The pizza was super salty and vinegary. The dough also tasted like straight up flour. The toppings were obviously not fresh either. With four people we didn’t even eat half of the food and no one wanted to take any of it home. Maybe pizza isn’t the way to go here, but I would not want to do that to myself ever again.
