Overall 4.5 Food: Char-grilled Pork Chop 4 The bread was warm and very good. The honey butter that came with it was especially good. The meal consisted of a char-grilled pork chop, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, and a cranberry compote. The pork chop was cooked well but could have used a bit more seasoning. The mashed potatoes were creamy and tasty. The brussel sprouts were good but also were slightly underseasoned. The cranberry compote was very good and was a nice addition to the pork chop, sprouts, and potatoes. Service 5. Our waitress was very kind and attentive and got our orders and water quickly after we were seated.

Sushi is back!!! We just had our favorites at Pinebrook Grill. We are so thrilled to have great sushi in a cozy booth and for happy hour. We missed the old Aah Sushi! but they now have the offerings and more at Pinebrook Grill. We will be regulars again. Thanks for bringing it back!

Very good dining experience. My husband and I had the grilled pork chop with cranberry compote. Delish! The garlic mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts that came with it were also prepared and cooked perfect. We’ll be back!

Did you just call a paying customer fat and ugly Celeste??? I have never been so disgusted in all my life! I couldn’t decide which picture to post the inappropriate response to a review or the under cooked rotten steak that was served! I have those if you need them. As stated we were the only ones in the restaurant so shame on us for not letting that tell us something About your restaurant but shame on every single employee and owner. The food was over priced, disgusting, rotten and cold! And when we asked the server to bring us hot food we were yelled at. If your restaurant stays as classy as your mouth Celeste you will be out of business before you can say rotten fillet! I pray no one will ever have to experience what we went through and Celeste I pray you find yourself looking for a new Job! Disgusting in every single way!!!

Would give this place a 0 if there were an option. I truly do not understand how these people are still in business. Food was served cold and everything is overpriced. Everyone was rude and unprofessional. Please don’t support this awful restaurant! Also the only good review was left by someone in management… And they are trying to delete my comments… reporting it as fraudulent.

We were the only customers in the restaurant. After our food was served cold, and with questionable filets served(severely undercooked, didn’t smell quite right), we called our server over who, according to him, «bent over backwards for our table. I’ll take the filets off, but as for the other food that was served cold, there’s nothing I can do for you.» For being the only customers in the restaurant, and the only chance for a server to earn a little extra for his pocket, I would think that bringing hot food, cooked properly to paying customers would not be considered«bending over backwards». Will not recommend, or ever eat there again. If nothing else, for being made feel like we were asking the server to hang the moon, not just bring us our meals warm.

After a day of shopping, 7 of us entered the completely empty restaurant(should have been our first clue) but because we were hungry and wanted a quiet atmosphere, we stayed. The menu and the name didn’t really connect for me, but I am happy to see past that for good food. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The bread(as part of the meal) «did not rise properly» so they couldn’t offer the bread. When we suggested that maybe we could have some rolls with the honey butter instead, the server brought stale garlic rolls. I always say you can judge a restaurant by its bread basket and this was a big 2nd strike for me. After several more disappointments(undercooked and questionable smelling filet mignon, food that wasn’t warm, and no water refills for the 7 of us) we had to flag down our sever(I mean we were the only people in the entire restaurant… where did he keep disappearing to??), only have him explain to us that he was«bending over backwards» for us, that would comp two of the steaks, but as far as the rest of the cold food, «there was nothing he could do about it». I thought serving properly cooked food, in a timely manner, with appropriate refills was the job of a server. Not sure why he had to bend over backwards, but it was a poor attempt in doing so. Strike 3. I wouldn’t recommend.

Located in the Pinebrook Shopping Center, The Grill is a newer restaurant in an «old» restaurant’s space, practically adjacent to Billy Blanco’s, and directly above Oh Shucks. Venturing in for brunch during the first weekend it was offered, we found that The Grill wasn’t as busy as other PC breakfast/lunch spots, but only because it has not been«announced» yet. The décor is clean, simple, yet rustic with wood pillars separating eating areas. Brightly colored dining booths with vintage rock band posters on the walls separate diners who may want a bit more privacy. This should entice parents of youngsters to venture in — imagine, a more private area for you and your kids! We ordered two breakfast selections: Two banana pancakes with fresh blueberries smothering the top and dripping down the sides @ $ 9.99; and a basic«Two eggs your way, two bacon, home fries and toast» @ $ 7.99. My son absolutely LOVED these Jack Johnson pancakes. But, at $ 9.99 for two pancakes(that’s $ 5 a piece, y’all), it was a hefty price to pay for not a lot of wheat flour and banana. The two eggs were scrambled well, as requested; the bacon was quite good and extra crispy; but the home fries? These were the highlight. Home fries is a misnomer here because what these really were were homemade potato chips flavored quite nicely. I do think one should be able to order a bag of these! Both breakfasts came with a small bowl of fresh orange slices and blueberries. Verdict: Go if you want to get away from other PC breakfast spots. Go if you want tasty unique brunch food. Go if you are a Grateful Dead fan and want to check out some vintage posters. Why 4 stars then? The ratio and amount of pancake to dollar.

We live in the neighborhood and thought we would try this new place. By the name you would think of more grill type food, not so. The menu is very limited with bland food. Don’t waste your money here. Way over priced for what it is. The owner came over to the table and I thought a bum was asking for food, if you want to own a fine dinning establishment at least dress like you own it. The only good thing I can say is the service.
