The food was below average and the servers and bartenders were inattentive. If I just happened to stop at a random strip mall Mexican restaurant, I would have expected at least slightly better. To really narrow-down how Billy Blanco’s earned their 2 stars, I was really disappointed for the following reasons: 1) This is Park City. Plenty of good places to eat and lots of competition. They were rated in comparison to their piers. 2) Mexican food is not rocket science. I’ve had REALLY good mexican(of all sub styles) and I’ve had average mexican food, but I it love it all. When it goes wrong, the restaurant is trying to be high-end but you don’t have the skills. 3) This is supposed to be a ‘Detroit themed’ restaurant. I’m from the metro Detroit area and I spend plenty of time ‘in the city’(to include Mexican Town) dining. The décor was gaudy and reminded me of what it would look like if you gave a 16 year old boy a $ 100k to decorate. 4) Our Über driver talked-up the Bill White ‘dining empire.’ Hopefully, this isn’t a representation of the other BW restaurants. I think they might have even squeaked out three stars if I had zero expectations.

Once again, Billy B’s pulled through. The atmosphere is really cool but the food is amazing. Their fried chicken is to die for as well as their Mexican dishes. This place just keeps getting better. Great food, great staff… Love this place.

Went to Billy Blancos tonight, Monday Feb. 29th, and had a terrible experience. Things started when our party was at the bar and the bartender took 20+ minutes to serve us one round of margaritas. Being Park City, this didn’t really phase me at first, bars can get pretty busy. Although, interestingly enough, another gentleman who sat next to us also raised his grievances with the bartender, who nicely explained why she thought service was so slow that night(I didn’t overhear her reasoning). The thing is, she literally talked to this man for around 10 – 15 minutes straight, while I looked around the bar and saw many customers staring at her, waving their hands, trying to get her attention. So bartender lady, it was nice of you to try and explain things to the gentleman at the end of the bar, but you screwed everyone else over(even more). Finally seated at around 8:45, we looked at the menu until our waiter arrived at 8:55 who then told last call for food and drinks was at 9:00. This was obviously frustrating but luckily with all the free time we had at the bar, we were able to look over the menu and order. Food was subpar, at least for a «Bill White» restaurant, which for some reason seems to be a redeeming quality here in Park City. If you read this, Bill, I’ve been to almost every one of your establishments and I have been mostly happy with those experiences(Windy Ridge is killer), but HOLYSMOKES Billy Blanco’s was awful tonight, both in terms of service and quality. Something needs to be done to avoid situations like this, and I hope to hear about those changes soon, as I cannot imagine recommending a Bill White Restaurant Group establishment to a friend in the future.

At the bar 25 min before anyone spoke to me. Awful customer service. Never again. The guy working the bar hadn’t spoken to me in 30 min.

We went to Billy Blanco’s on a Saturday night. We took a seat at the bar so we didn’t need to wait for a table. It was busy so it took the server/bartender about 20 minutes to get us a menu, then another 15 minutes to get our drink order, then another 20 minutes to receive our drinks and put in a food order… At this point I wanted to walk out. We ordered nachos and a quesadilla. The nachos were awesome! The food came out within minutes. Then our server/bartender ignored us for the next 30 minutes. It took us 45 minutes to get our check. Our glasses were empty, the water was never refilled, we were never asked how anything tasted or if we would like another drink… Nothing. Even though the food is great we won’t go back because the service is terrible.

Sat for 20 minutes with no service. Asked twice for a server and the host asked multiple servers to pick up our table, but none of them would. We brought people from out of town for their good food, but won’t be back now.

Solid 4 stars. Great ambiance, especially if you’re into vintage/classic cars and motorcycles. The food is prepared well and consistent. Chips and salsa are some of the best I’ve ever had. Been here many times. Try different stuff it’s mostly all good. Their hot sauces are good as well. Fast friendly service.

The chili lime wings are the best wings I’ve ever had. The tacos are delicious too. Especially the chicken ‘al pastor’ taco. Also be sure to try the Bloody Mary with Jalapeño vodka!

Ok. So I decided to give your restaurant one last try and I still stand by my first review, the food just isn’t good. Not one person in my party liked their food, not even the kids from the Kids Menu. The only reason I am giving Billy Blancos two stars instead of one is for the Décor, the dip that comes with the chips and the decent prices, but that still won’t be enough to bring me back. I have tried this place 3 times and not once was the food good so it is not the menu selection that is the problem. The food is just lack luster and definitely not up to Park City standards. Sorry Bill but it is what it is

This place is a guys dream to eat and the owners in my opinion have it really figured out… we had a Christmas party here and reserved the bottom area which would be the garage I assume. But even upon entering you are taken back with cars that make your jaw hit the ground like tonight a SS Chevelle just sitting their in its beauty… also displayed are some beautiful Harleys and crortch rockets that look like just rolled off the race track… Down stairs is the same with more awesome cars and bikes, but I really liked how even the napkins and towels in the bathrooms were red shop towels… pretty cool and just a neat final touch. We had 2 great people taking care of us last night Jenny and Stan and they really hooked us up and really left no one wanting for anything…+1 on Travis B review on the chips and they have stepped up the game because chips were fresh and salsa was on point and for me the ranch dip was meeeh!!! But they brought out their ribs as appetizers and let me tell you these were pretty darn tasty and also their sauces between the Kansas City and Carolina was pretty hard to decide which was better. For dinner I got the Carne Asada Tacos based off our waitress recommendation and very glad I did… these street taco’s had excellent flavor and the steak was cooked just right with the perfect amount of onions and cilantro… didn’t eat too much of the beans and rice just because I was soo full already but had god flavor. But let me tell they have some hot sauces on the table that I was sampling with my food… these sauces will sneak up on you. They don’t taste super hot at 1st but give 5 – 10 seconds. All in all had a great time here and glad our boss and his admin decided on Billy Blanco’s for our Christmas party… great food, scenery, service and all in all just a fun place to be and eat.

I have decided not to give 5 stars out unless it is highly warranted, and this place deserves it. From the décor(I’ve been told there are several million dollars of cars and motorcycles in there), to the food, all is wonderfully done. The décor is all«garage» themed and well thought out. Look for some fun surprises in the restrooms. I haven’t had anything there I didn’t like so let’s start with the ribs. You can order them 1 bone at a time, which I love so you can get just the right amount. The guac is authentic and they have a good selection. The California Burrito — yum. I love their tater tots as not a lot of places serve them and hardly any do a good job. Salads– yes and very well done Can’t think of anything I’ve had there I didn’t like. Top it all off with a Mexican Coke from the bottle. You’ll thank me.

Summary: Highly under rated and unknown Mexican joint in the Park City area. Not the most authentic Mexican, but delicious nonetheless. If you are in Park City, want Mexican, and are wondering if you should drive a little bit further… do it. The restaurant beats almost anything on main street and is for sure better than Loco lizard or anything else in the Kimball junction area. Highlights: try all of the flavors of guacamole. They are all amazing. The street tacos are great as well.

(Update Follows) This place is AMAZING! This was out first visit and it definitely will not be our last. We had heard about this place and took a ride up to the Park City area just to try it out. The fist thing you notice about this place is the incredible décor. They spent a lot of money to create this place and it shows, Every detail of the place from the motorcycles and cars to the lamps hanging form lift chains and the tool boxes used as bar equipment creates a one of a kind dining experience. They even use shop towels as napkins! We will be back to try a full meal but on this trip we only had enough time for appetizers and a drink but based on how good the appetizers we had were we cannot wait to try a full meal. We had the ribs by the bone($ 3 per rib) and they were fantastic with both the house Carolina style and KC style sauces providing a tasty addition to the already well flavored ribs. We also had the Buffalo wings in the traditional hot flavor although there are other options as well. First of all i will say these wings are no kidding hot, easily as spicy as «hotter than hot» offerings at other places. However unlike those other places they were not using hot as a replacement for flavor. The wings are very flavorful and have a great taste in addition to a really good spice. As for the beverages, they have a excellent selection of bottled beers and a few on draft. I had a beer which was well poured and at a perfect temperature and my fiancée had the top shelf Margarita which was the better choice and was probably one of the better ones i have had. Ever. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable but could have been a bit more attentive especially on a slow Sunday afternoon but that did not take away from the over all experience. We will be going again in the near future for a full meal and I’ll be updating this review then. UPDATE: If I could give this place another star for our second visit I would. We brought some friends up to check this place out this last Sunday and our experience was even better. This time we had a bit more time and were there for a full meal. Our friends had the tacos which they said were excellent. My fiancée had the full order of ribs and they were just as good as before with the accompanying side of fries being fresh and delicious. As much as I wanted to have the ribs again as well, I decided to have the Chicken Barbacoa burrito and it was a fantastic choice. I would recommend having it enchilada style with the green sauce. the rice and beans as a side was a great accompaniment. We also tried the berry margarita this time and it was fantastic. And one more note about the staff. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and made our experience that much better. After we were done as we were admiring the place and our friends took pictures she introduced us to the manager who then showed us the party room downstairs with even more of the collection.(see my photos) All in all this is a great destination! We will definitely be coming back and making this a regular place to visit, we have lots of friends that we want to share this with.

This is our first trip here. We would have rode the bike but it was threading to rain. We were told how cool this biker bar and restaurant is and we were not disappointed. There really were choppers hanging from the ceiling. We ordered beer and a margarita with chips and salsa. Then we ordered chicken wings which were the hot ones and ribs. Yes… the wings were hot, but tender and yummy. I loved the ribs the best. They bring you a diamond plate 6 pack of different sauces to try. This is a destination for any age or group. The décor is one of a kind. All done in a biker theme, even down to the garage towels used as napkins. I will go back in a heart beat and brings friends for sure. They have out door seating as well as booths for larger crowds.

I stopped by after a weekend spent in a cabin near Park City. The décor and atmosphere were excellent. They have vintage cars, motorcycles, and the entire place resembled a garage turned into a restaurant. Even the napkins were oil rags. Our group of 14 was seated almost immediately and the waitress was a good sport with all of our jokes. We were even able to follow the NFL games on RedZone with the tv right over our heads. Our group ordered a variety of things from chicken, to burritos, taco salads, and much more. The plating of my friend’s food looked great(especially the taco salad); however, my fajitas left a lot to be desired. For $ 18, the meat was really dry and the guacamole was subpar. Lettuce was given but it looked like it was just sliced quickly and thrown on the plate next to the guac. I was disappointed in the side of mashed potatoes. The gravy/potatoes were bland and the potatoes themselves were sloshy and without texture. Even worse for a potato enthusiast like myself. Overall, the food tasted okay. I was disappointed by what I ordered but the décor/service were good. If I am in the area, I may give the place another go and order something else.

Damn it! I wanted to like this place more but the food was a little underwhelming for the price. I ordered the fried chicken and it was undercooked and seemed like it was cooked in old oil. I really wanted it to be good, it just wasn’t that good. Saving grace! This place is a cool concept so I will go back but probably won’t get dinner. Apps and drinks, yes. They have outdoor music on Sunday too.

Atmosphere; awesome! Beautiful sports cars & motorcycles decorate the restaurant which are accompanied by similarly themed chairs and décor. Service; none of the staff was particularly friendly, but seemed to do their jobs well. Our party of 8 was sat immediately without a reservation and the food came out very quickly. Food; the chips that are served were mediocre and seemed to be a bit on the stale side, but the green cilantro dip that was served with the chips was delicious. Our table must have gone through 8 ramekins. The homemade traditional guacamole was good, the wings were good, the shredded beef burrito was good and the fish tacos were good. The homemade corn tortillas were a little below average. The real winner was the avocado and mango salad with chili lime shrimp.

Billy Blanco’s — Bill White’s. There’s truth in advertising. I’ve found Bill’s places to be a mixed bag with more mediocre than good, but I came in with an open mind. If Billy’s is as good when there is a crowd as it is on a tuesday afternoon in the summer, I’m very impressed. On this day, the weather was perfect, the deck inviting, and the company superb. The margaritas were well crafted and reasonably priced for the quality. The chips are first rate. The food was all excellent, and more than we could eat. I can’t help but imagine that those who complain about portions just spend too much time at Beto’s, Costa Vida and similar where it’s all about bulk for the buck. And lots of sugar. I was glad to see Billy’s taking it easy on the sugar. The exception was in the slaw, where the sweet was perfectly balanced with the vinegar. My son got the short rib sandwich. I got a taste and was jealous. Even the excellent pickles were done in house. The fish tacos with some of the well balanced habanero hot sauce were excellent. The slaw could have used a little less of the sauce, but it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I could complain about the final tab on my «lunch» for four, but once I remove the 8 margaritas and the beer, everything comes back into focus and this is killer good food for prices that are eminently fair, and even less than I expected for similar quality in Salt Lake City, let alone PC. For our meal on this day, there was 100% agreement among the four of us that everything was perfect. This joins Chimayo at the top of Bill’s places to eat.
