I’ve always liked Ruby Tuesdays because there are one of the few casual dining chains that still have a salad bar. It sort of takes me back to the days when I used to love going to Sizzler etc. This particular location is decent because of its location in Garden State Plaza. It’s nice to see this place still around after all these years. Generally I thought the food was okay and the salad bar was dependable as usual. The service here is decent. The folks were all very friendly and helpful. The only two issues I found were that the seats here were all pretty tight. I’m not that particularly big but even I found it to be a bit tight. The other thing is that this place has a really dark ambiance and the floors felt sticky at places. It wasn’t exactly the most relaxing dining atmosphere, but hopefully this can change. If you don’t mind the above and are just focusing on the food and drink(or sitting outside of the restaurant) then you should be alright. Personally I like dining here because I enjoy the salad bar and the relatively friendly service.

Am just hear enjoying some beers while happy hour is active. 4 bucks for a mega mug of Miller light is not bad. In addition two cuties are serving it up. This place looks very clean and nice. I will definitely come back for happy hour. Perhaps even to eat.

Finally a worthwhile Ruby Tuesdays! The service was good, the drinks were worth the price and the food was actually cooked and presented properly!!! Not disappointing at all like its other sister properties like Elizabeth! Old Bridge the service was awesome but the food was cold or undercooked, Union was 50⁄50 average food and pretty good service. But here we will come back for sure and asking for Sarah R. She’s friendly and answers all questions and is Interactive!

Seriously disappointing. Huge Ruby Tuesdays fan about ten years ago. Haven’t revisited until tonight. Came in at 8, greeted with a face of annoyance(they close at 9). Quickly sat, order mozzerella sticks to start. Wasn’t bad, I liked the thin breading, didn’t appear frozen. The breading though was bland, no seasoning at all. My boyfriend & I each ordered cheeseburgers. Simple enough. Mine was ordered medium, given as medium rare, almost raw. My boyfriend ordered his burger as well done, came medium rare. Not sure why they ask how you want it cooked when they make it how they want. The burger itself, flavorless. Absolutely nothing added to the groundbeef. I make a better seasoned burger at home. The fries were the same. Tasteless and overly greasy. I also got the garden bar-it was the best food item of the night & it required zero culinary skill. Besides the food, our waitress never smiled or changed emotion, it was almost as if we were at a morgue between the lifeless staff, dark dining room and boring food. Lastly, as we walked out, I noticed something gross: as you enter Ruby Tuesdays from the parking lot, there is an intimate room immediately to the right, it was filled with sneakers, flip flops, random clothing items and bags thrown randomly on the floor, benches and on top the tables. It appeared like an intimate party room was being used as a locker room for the staff. Odd and unappetizing. We won’t be back.

I want to give a higher review, but Ruby Tuesday just wasn’t worth the money. I’d definitely say around a 3.5. The food was alright. Very standard burger. Delicious, but nothing worth writing home to or even worth going back to eat, especially since the other food options in and around the mall are just better. The service was delightful though. Our waiter was incredibly sweet and super accomodating.

This place is a good choice which I would give a very solid 3 ½ stars to(basically, 3 ¾, at the risk of sounding ridiculous). Our usual routine, having learned from experience, is that we’ll order one steak dinner with salad bar, and then one order of just salad bar, and split the steak. This is not due by any stretch to the size of their steaks, but to that we tend to really enjoy the salad bar and then find their full steak to be too much to finish. But it’s a good spot. Not knock your socks off amazing, but a place you’ll look forward to when it’s chosen as part of the plan of your outing, and a place you’re likely to leave feeling full and happy, and it’s better priced than similar places. I guess it’s also worth mentioning that I like the décor there(we usually find ourselves seated in the section by the salad bar).

This place is horrible. I came here tonite after work with a few of my friends and we sat at the bar. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and when it came out it was uncooked. We told the bartender Deana to tell her manager Jeff and gary had no courtesy to apologize for the uncooked food or take care if it for us. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. Just because it’s in the mall and it’s very busy, they don’t have respect for any customers. I usually do not ever post a review on Unilocal or any other site but felt that I had to on this one. I am definitely going to report this location to Ruby Tuesday corporate as if I feel that I gave been disrespected. Lastly as soon as we are ready to leave the Manger comes to us and gives us a sympathy gift card, but for the last 2 hours we were here sitting at the bar didn’t say anything. Once we pay the bill and are ready to walk out he comes to us with a bs gift card to come here again… don’t think so, beware

You’ll either see me at the bar. Or salad bar. Great happy hour selections and appetizers are delicious! You can’t beat the salad bar price either. After some shopping, relax here and have a conversation with any of their laid-back bartenders.

Reasonably priced, good for groups. Service was friendly. Nice all-you-can eat salad bar, but nothing like the old Charlie Brown’s salad bar. Conveniently a short walk from the movie theater and they stay open late.

Good and clean restaurant located in garden state mall which is good choice after long walk. I liked my food, I ordered chicken breast with two sides. You have the choice to take one side from the salad bar.

Service sucks! Food, well… it’s a burger! Other than the fact that I asked for it without onions and 20 minutes later it came with onions, not too bad. Asked for a water refill and it never came. Honestly, not coming back to this location.

Went here with my Aunt who had recently had a horrible experience and had been given a gift card… Well they sure made up for any bad experience she had! They were on top of everything and Joe(the manager) was so hospitable and kind! They gave me a turkey burger instead of a normal beef burger and even though I said it was fine(which it really was) they made me a whole new burger with fries to go! And even gave me a drink on the house.(The best mango margarita I ever had btw!!) Joe really went above and beyond to make it an insanely good experience! 5 stars all around :)

Never had a bad time here! Food is better than chilis or Fridays, but the vibe of the place is very similar. Service is always good too. I just tried the salad bar for the first time and I enjoyed the offerings and everything was fresh.

Great lunch! My waitress was super friendly and attentive, and all the food came out quickly. The biscuits are the bomb dot com. If you like Red Lobster’s biscuits, Ruby Tuesday’s biscuits are mini versions. Had my Creole Trio with sides of steamed broccoli and grilled zucchini and loved it all.

Hurts me to have to update this review. I really like coming here after shopping at the mall. The last few times I have been here I have had problems. Today my daughter ordered a simple mozzarella sticks. Sadly the order took forever to come out and when it did the garnish leaf was nasty looking; wilted and browning. The staff tried to insist it was because the food was left under the heat lamp too long. I am tired of excuses at this place and I am reducing my rating to the lowest possible 1 star. The manager rich came out so I could voice my disappointment with the restaurant, but I am done with this place. After reviewing my bill — the manager Rich removed the charge for both of the kids Mozzarella Sticks. My server 1075 Samant J was nice.

Rating — 3.5 Food 4* i had a rotisserie chicken with mash potatoes and vegetables. The chicken was cooked perfect, nice seasoned. Also, the mashed potatoes were delicious. Drinks 2* The margarita tasted more like a lemonade with really bad tequila in it… yuck Service: nice staff, the food came out quickly

Oh Ruby’s. First, I don’t turn down $ 5 happy hour. So you can make your own inferences there. But if you’re still confused — it’s a decent deal. $ 5 drinks(most) and $ 5 apps(most). I’m all over it. The shrimp and cheese dip is AHHHHMAZING. I mean, just order $ 20 worth and then just show up at a party somewhere. Yeah, that good. This particular one is located in GSP and it’s decent sized. They even have«outdoor» seating. Which I think is kind of weird because, well, you’re in a mall. It’s just weird to me. I’ve never had any issues with their salad bar and if I’m there for reasons other than $ 5 drinks I take advantage of it. The bartenders are really great. They stay on top of you and will chat but not to the point where you regret sitting down.
