Going to echo what others have said. you’re SOL when it comes to this truck and having to wait. I saw no line and figured that it was a pretty good time to try it and sure enough, the wait was pretty much way too long for what I ordered. Something is seriously up with the way they process orders or something is going on with their kitchen line stuff. Now let’s move back a little, I may be a bit picky about my Korean BBQ because I generally cook it myself to my varying degree of awesome tastiness at an establishment where I just get the raw meat and a grill in front of me for a flat price. So when I’m paying this much for tacos that have a good quarter or half dollar size amount of meat on it. well, I’m starting the meal off in a negative view point from the get go. The taco was nothing special when you put it against the other Korean fusion tacos on the road currently. So it’s really not worth the $ 2.50 you’re paying for it or the time you’re waiting for it. Maybe it’s just a case of them needing to work out their kinks, but otherwise, gonna be skipping this truck whenever I see it.

The line and the wait was not worth what I ate. The tacos were sweet and tangy tasting, but lacking the protein. If anything it was packed with more lettuce and a sprinkle of cheese more than anything. Kogi over K Manna. That’s all I’m gonna say.

I recently got to try their korean bbq taco; however, for the time that I had to wait I could have gotten something tastier. I waited 30 mins or so for some tacos that were ok. There was a sweet flavor to the meat but the taco was definitely lacking meat. The taco consisted of only lettuce so my favor is still toward the kogi truck.

Another korean taco truck among a sea of mediocre food trucks in one of the two parking lots in DTLA Artwalk. I decided to try this because the others didn’t have good reviews, and this was lacking a review so I took it for the team! A cute asian girl took my order outside the truck, and I only ordered a CHICKEN and CARNEASADATACO $ 2.50 each. They had various other options like kimchi fried rice and kimchi ramen that sounded yummy. They do need higher quality photos on their truck with more updated photos. Because my taco looked nothing like the ones on the truck. Waited 30 minutes for TWO tacos and there was no line! Unfortunately once it arrived, it did not look very appetising. It was coated with sliced cabbage, practically like a coleslaw, and topped with some mayo and grated cheddar cheese. Maybe if there was no mayo, it would have been better. At least the tacos came out piping hot though. Taste wise, mediocre at best. Not really good quality beef. Nothing really distinctive, for $ 2.50, I’d rather have gotten myself some King Taco. But they were probably making one taco at a time, hence the long wait. I’m not sure if I’d come back and try the other food. Hopefully they’ll speed things up a little. *** Tip: Skip the tacos Favourites: No line Do not want: Long wait, too much coleslaw/mayo Last words: MEH
