We chose this restaurant because it was nearby our hotel. A nice waiter suggested a roomy table and efficiently served us a delicious breakfast. He even brought us sliced fresh orange slices instead of juice. The bathroom was spotless. I only wished they had rye toast. Reasonable prices and quiet location Joanna

This place was ok. Pretty basic menu & food is nothing to brag about but not bad. Built next to high school so I’m sure that’s where they get majority of there business & a pretty good place if you look at it as been built for teens. Overall it’s O. K :-D

Great food! Friday we tried this place for the first time because of all the talk we’ve been hearing and had to try it ourselves, and yes, they surpassed our expectations. We returned the following day to try their breakfast, and yes, good, great.

Absolutely awesome! Wish we had more of these in Tampa Bay– the real deal, a 50s style diner. Complete with red booths, checkered floors, and vintage memorabilia. Appears to be a local favorite and they are so welcoming and accommodating to their customers. Food was excellent and promptly served. They recommended their salsa for the omelets and it was on point! Their uniforms were the white shirt sleeved button up shirts with bow ties. How perfect! And of course, the period music playing in the background. Thank you Unilocal for recommending this location.

I came here with my son and parents for breakfast as we were headed home from a beach trip. From the outside Stuffy’s is fairly unassuming, but when we walked in the décor was very well done in a 50s theme. Our waitress was Tatiana and she never missed a beat or seemed overwhelmed even though she was the only waitress working. Our food came out quickly and tasted great — we had a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, biscuits and gravy, pancakes with bacon & a western omelet. Prices were great & we will certainly be back on our next trip.

Had the club sandwich combo was very good, service great, and as I sit here by the window, it’s pouring rain and seems like lightning right across the street, bib bolts

50’s style diner and it was cute that my waitress was wearing a white shirt with black bow tie. How very 50’s. She did a good job at keeping my coffee cup filled, getting my order and bringing it to me with the check. Easy. I went with the sausage and cheese omelet. This isn’t the fluffy baked kind, which is my usual preference. This was the thin layer of eggs, folded over once with the stuff inside. A good amount of cheese and sausage, though. So no complaints. Inexpensive and a good breakfast. A+

Great local diner! The red and white booths couples with the oldies classics they play transport you back to the 50’s. The food is great and so are the prices. For breakfast I recommend the eggs, bacon and grits with toast. A steal at $ 5.50. Stay away from the biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was hard and the gravy just wasnt good. But the grits were definitely not instant. And there were plenty of them. For lunch the Philly cheese steak is great. The lunch combo comes with fries and a drink for $ 7.99. The fried pickles are a cant miss. With speedy and very friendly service this place is a great place to grab a bite near downtown.

In town from STL for a baseball tournament. Needed a place close to the field and found this gem. My husband and I are pretty much restaurant snobs, and this place exceeded all our needs. This place is fantastic! Incredible, friendly, professional staff. Very fun décor! Extremely CLEAN restaurant. Awesome food! Not a detail neglected. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Came here around late afternoon to satisfy a craving for a shake and fries. I was greeted when I entered and took notice to the cute atmosphere. The décor is themed like a 50’s diner and there was old music playing to fit this theme. However, the second thing I noticed was the floor, it was pretty dirty with food, dirt, and stains. This wouldn’t surprise me if I had come in at a busy time. But there were only 3 tables and 5 workers present, some not really doing much. They finally started to mop the floor near the end of my meal, but mopped one small area, put up a caution sign, and walked away. The service itself was very nice, my waitress was very sweet and checked up on me from time to time. Now the food. I ordered a strawberry malt shake and it was phenomenal. I loved it. It’s hard sometimes to come by a good malt shake, and they have it. When I got my fries, they looked so good. I was hoping they would meet the same factor as my shake. But when I ate them, I was kind of disappointed. There wasn’t much flavor to them, and they seemed almost dry. It was as if they had been frozen or cooked previously, then re-cooked. They didn’t taste fresh and needed(surprisingly) salt. I couldn’t finish them so I packed them up to take home to my boyfriend who might like them. I can’t say much about their meals cause all I ordered was fries. I would of tried a burger if I was hungrier. I might or might not come to back to try one. Overall, I’d say this is a cute place for teens to hang at after high school.(I noticed the students from Bay were there). The atmosphere is very cool and I’m sure it can be cleaner at other times, but when I went. it definitely was not. If you want a shake, I’d recommend them. But honestly, I give them an «ok» rating based off of what I ate.

Stuffy’s is a cute diner in Panama City. It’s clean and seems well maintained and the atmosphere is neat. It’s pretty cool décor with a 50’s diner look to it. The bathrooms were very clean, and that’s a huge plus. Some times the restrooms of a nice place are forgotten about, but they were clean here. The waitress we had was nice. She was very polite to our kids, however after giving my husband a refill and him asking her about another food item, she walked right off acting as if she didn’t care that he was speaking to her. All in all she was very nice though, I guess she just didn’t hear him. I think I might have caught this restaurant on an off-day, unfortunately. Our rather simple order was messed up not once, not twice, but three times. The waitress caught each mistake, but when she took our order back to the kitchen staff to get it fixed, you could hear them arguing about our ticket which was uncomfortable. The kitchen is pretty much open to the restaurant so you can hear everything that goes on. While we were here, another girl’s ticket was completely lost all together and when she went to the register to find her order a man started speaking loudly to the waitress that took her order across the diner, then yelled at her to come find it. All in all the food was good, it was fresh, and we enjoyed it — but didn’t really care for the light drama that was unfolding around us.

Found Stuffy’s because of Unilocal. We had a craving for Philly Cheesesteak and Unilocal pointed us here. Our sandwiches were great served with onions and peppers. Both were chopped fine and mixed in well with the meat and cheese. The bread was very fresh and went great with the steak, Fries appeared to be had cut, and had a nice crunch. Cool décor with a 50’s diner look. Place was spotless and service was excellent. Menu includes all day breakfast, several lunch sandwhiches and a lunch hot bar that includes a couple of meats and several vegatables. We will definitely be back again.

Stuffy’s has an old diner theme, red and white checkered color scheme, located in downtown Panama City across from Bay High in an old building that previously housed, most recently in my memory, a cash advance place. We have enough of those in Panama City, so I rather prefer the idea of a diner. This place is pretty new, and I believe they are still working out the kinks in some of their server and restaurant policies. I will confine my review to the food, and review the rest when the«café» has been given a bit more time. The food was surprisingly good. There aren’t a lot of options in the immediate area. I suppose the stiffest competition will be the nearby Tally-Ho, which has a similar retro vibe and the same sort of selection of burgers and fries. I had a Philly Cheese Steak, which is often rendered a pretty generic item at many burger joints, but this one impressed me. No, it wasn’t very authentic, but it had a generous helping of tasty shredded steak meat and came with a reasonable side of fries, which were also pretty good. I’ve also heard their burgers are tasty, so that will be what I try next time I am in the neighborhood. In short, it’s not yet worth making a drive too far out of your way to try Stuffy’s. If you are an out-of-towner I’d stick with Highway 98 and try Tally-Ho, which has a lot of history, a fun drive-in atmosphere, and pretty good food. However, if you are a local, it’s definitely worth supporting this local business, as the food is worth it — this COULD become a downtown institution, provided they can overcome the rookie mistakes that every restaurant faces.
