Service was great. Ordered the nachos, they were good but asked for some extra guacamole and sour cream as it was a bit light. Margaritas were very good as well. Pricey as it is a chain and a tourist trap but you should know that going into a place like this.

Fun experience. To start off, my kids ordered fun souvenir drinks they loved. My husband and I shared a blender drink, it’s 5 o clock somewhere. .so good. The meals were good, husband loved his cheeseburger in paradise, mine was undercooked even when I sent it back, but good on the edges where it was cooked. Kids loved their fish and chips, good portion size. Side of apples dipped in caramel was a fun addition. Sister in law enjoyed her fish tacos. All in all great meal, we’ll be back.

We had excellent service from the best staff ever! Denise was truly wonderful and you could tell she enjoyed interacting with guests. In January, it’s not busy, but you still get the laid-back atmosphere with the décor. Loved it! My favorite Margaritaville yet!

Had the tacos… cold and flavorless. Husband had burger and enjoyed it.

It’s everything you would expect from a tourist restaurant. But my wife and I found ourselves back here twice while staying in Panama City Beach. Sat at the bar for dinner which I recommend. Service is fast and pleasant. Sat next to a couple from Fiji and had an interesting conversation with them that we wouldn’t have had if we sat by ourselves. Yes it’s a tourist destination but we ate one entrée and one appetizer that we split. Portions were plenty so that it was enough food for both of us. A few cocktails and we were done for around $ 50. Not bad. There’s not a whole lot to do in Panama CIty Beach so I recommend Pier Park and Maragaritaville. Also, take a drive down the road to Seaside.

Mostly for the tourists. Interesting stuff inside like airplane from ceiling is great for kids. Food overpriced and the cheeseburgers are definitely not the best as advertised on TV. French fries way too greasey — wonder when they changed the grease last? Temperature too cold inside — they had thermostat set at 68 degrees. Burr!

Had an hour to kill between touristy events and stopped here by Pier Park. My partner and I split the flight. For $ 15, we found this to be a great value. My favorites were the Original and the mango. Literally, nothing is the same after that original margarita! I don’t know what’s in their sweet and sour mix but I need that recipe! The menu stated that all their shots came with«sangrita» and a lime wedge. 4 shots of Cabo Wabo. When we inquired about the sangrita, our server said to hold on because«I’ve never had someone order that before.» What?! And the salt to be used for our shots, was table salt out of the shaker. I DONTKNOW. I just thought taking shots of tequila at Margaritaville on Panama City Beach on a Saturday afternoon was going to be more festive. This bummed us out. All we had to eat was the chips and salsa. The salsa was watery and flavorless. Kinda tasted old. That margarita though!!!

The food was alright but the prices were super expensive. Would only come for special occasions. The nachos were the shining star of the menu.

If you don’t like Jimmy Buffet, do-not go to this restaurant, if you like jimmy Buffet, great food and a fun atmosphere, then take my word. Go go GO! I’m not the biggest fan of jimmy Buffet but I am a huge fan of good food, and this is a place that has it! Good food and good drinks! The house margarita is the best! Also a good way to go is to buy the margarita sampler. For an appetizer, the nachos all the way(it’ll feed 4 people easily)! It was my first time getting the fish and chips, but they were delicious also! When we attended the balloonists weren’t there but we have been when thy are. They can make just about any kind of balloon animal or hat for you and it’s free!

Food was ok. Service not so good, waitress kept bringing out the wrong plates and some was cold. But I guess if you’re going for the Jimmy Buffet experience, it’s something to try once.

Went here for our anniversary dinner because we went to PCB from Tallahassee the day we started dating. I ordered the crispy coconut shrimp. The shrimp itself was cooked well, but I wasn’t a fan of the horseradish-orange marmalade sauce that came with it. The bf got the signature fish sandwich(fish of the day) and found it to be alright. Service was mediocre and food wasn’t anything spectacular. Best part of our evening here was the delightful lady working in the retail shop.

The atmosphere is very touristy, but great if you are visiting with kids. The themed restaurant has a plane hanging from the ceiling, a boat as a table and tons of other props. The night we visited they had numerous entertainers on stilts making balloon decorations. The staff stop and sing to you. Jimmy Buffet music is playing. The food is good and priced accordingly. This restaurant is located in Pier Park. I think you can find better food elsewhere, but you definitely pay for the location and the name. Out plates were large enough to share. We ordered the fried chicken and the fish sandwich. Both easily satisfied two people. The fried chicken was huge and really good. The fish sandwich was plenty as well. Overall, it will definitely keep kids entertained. If you don’t like a noisy atmosphere then this is not the place for you.

Let me start by admitting I’m not a Parrothead. I enjoy a good Buffet song every once in a while, but thats about it. My trip here was really disappointing. I didn’t have any adult beverages, but we did have plenty of food. Pros —(this is a short list) The massive plate of nachos we got was incredible. Far and away the highlight of our experience. The wait staff was polite and attentive. Cons — All other food. My buddy had the seafood mac n cheese and said it was really bland. Someone else ordered the steak fajitas and said they were horrible. She took a few nibbles and chalked it up as a loss. I had the«jerk» chicken at the waiters suggestion. It was alright, but should not be called jerk as it was nothing even close. It was a baked chicken with some barbecue sauce. Major letdown. I think that if 4 people drop over $ 100 on lunch, you should walk away«wowed». Instead I overly felt the need to post this review and warn others. I’m sure it’s a good spot for a few delicious cocktails and nachos. If i were to return, it would be for the drinks and ambiance(and nachos of course).

I’m a little hesitant to give only a 2 stars review, I do so only because I think the prices are a bit steep for what you’re getting. We were there in September on a Wed night. We were going to sit outdoors but the one man band was simply too loud so we opted to sit indoors. We were seated in one of their booths that’s supposed to look like it came out of a boat. After about 15 minutes I wished we hadn’t sat there… very uncomfortable. Drinks. Pretty steep. The 3 of us got a second margarita in the souvenir cup. Really expensive. They had a little show with a video on a sail screen. Sort of entertaining I guess, probably would be a hit with little ones. Service itself wasn’t too bad. A long wait to get a waitress but once the order was placed her pace picked up. The food. We got the Volcano nacho’s. That alone was enough for all 3 in our group to fill up on. Maybe a little more of the dip added would’ve made it perfect. As for entrée’s? I ordered the Jambalaya. It was superb. Plenty of it but… for the price, $ 18, was a little high for what you got. The others in the party got the beer battered fish and the french dip sandwich. While both were fairly good, neither thought the food was worth the price paid. Overall it’s a nice gimmick Jimmy Buffet has going. Our group of 3 spent, with 6 drinks(3 souvenir mugs) and tips a total of close to $ 140. Sort of steep IMO.

This is a typical chain restaurant. No matter the location you can always get the exact same thing. My husband and kids love the cheeseburger in paradise. I have yet to find my «go to» meal from here and have been around 4 – 5 different times. The fish tacos are just ok, the cheeseburger is just that, a 15 $ cheeseburger. The pretzel stick are of those that are frozen and just warmed up. This past time I got the volcano nachos, which is a huge amount of food, but the tortillas out weigh the toppings. The drinks are good, majority are mixed. If you want to spend $ 15 a cheeseburger and dine at a chain restaurant, try it out. The service is great tho, and the outside seating is directly across from the beach. We will be back!

After reading the reviews… I was reluctant to go. But I figured it was something I needed to experience myself one time in my life. This is sort of a review in response to the other reviews. Wait time: We went on a Friday night at 7pm and waited MAYBE15 minutes. Maybe we got lucky? Don’t know. But the wait time wasn’t bad at all. Service: Definitely slow and the waitress would disappear at times. But knowing this, we made sure to order everything we needed when she was at the table. Our waitress was very nice, no rude service at all. Prices: Definitely too high. End of story. Food: The cheese curds were great and so were our margaritas. The fish n chips were good and basic. The BBQ Burger was very dry and flavorless. Overall: Probably would never go back because above the price, service, wait time and everything else. I want to enjoy the food and I didn’t really enjoy it that much. I know I can get wayyy better food at a way better price all up and down the beach. But hey… you gotta go once i guess? Also… If the same complaints show up on here over and over again. and nothing ever changes… that’s a bad sign. The manager comments and says«sorry» but it’s hardly evident that she does anything about it. I guess her words don’t mean much!

I went to the store and was about to make a significant purchase of ~$ 70. The cashier said their internet was down and were only able to take cash. She directed me to the ATM, which I used, incurring a $ 3 service fee. When I returned to the cashier, I asked her if she could comp me a bottle of water* because of the ATM fee. She nastily replied that«we don’t control the ATMs.» Hey Jimmy — how about some customer service training for your staff and giving them the authority to do service recovery comps. *The 16oz water bottle cost $ 2.50. We weren’t planning on eating there because of the Unilocal reviews and a past dining experience at the Key West restaurant(terrible food).

I cannot believe that this restaurant tight to Jimmy Buffett. When we walk in, they show his singing in the TV at the Bar. Do you know he has placement add of his restaurant in the recent Jurassic Park movie and he is in that movie himself. The restaurant has a stage for live music. We were sitting facing the stage that is empty that night. We just want to have a quick bite and go to next venue. We wait for our waiter to show up but he was delay and we decided to sit at the bar. For a few day we having great in the Vacation, we decided to have something light to share. We have ordered the Uptown Margarita and the Shrimp Louis Wedge Salad. The Uptown Margarita is mix of gold margarita and orange liquor. You can have it on the rock or float ice. The Shrimp Louis Wedge Salad has grilled shrimp skew, quarter of lettuce, avocado, hard broil egg, cucumber, tomatoes dressing. The secret ingredient is the fried caper that makes this salad great taste. Overall the experience is good. I wish they have live music that day I could stay longer to listen.

The interior looks fun. We sat at a table first. But in order to get a faster service, we moved to sit by the bar. It worked. We were able to order a drink and a salad without waiting too long. The shrimp Louis wedge salad was tasty and big enough for 2 adults to share. The margarita looked good. Overall, it’s a fun theme restaurant in Pier park.

Tourist trap. High prices, small drinks and slow service. $ 10 bucks for a 5oz plastic cup Margarita that was really nothing but ice. The food wasn’t any better than the drinks. Skip this place and find something local!
