Hair by Cindy

I’ve been going to Cindy for several years and she’s great at what she does. She is an artist at cuts, colors and style.
When I met her for the first time, my hair was limp, dull, dry, dab, ashy, you name it, I had it bad. After several visits, my hair is shiny, bouncy, healthy and I couldn’t be happier. I trust her with my hair and never feel nervous about how it’s going to turn out.
A couple times I left with the color too light or dark, and she had me come back in free of charge. On a whim, I decided to get a body wave which she protested, but I got it anyway and it was a waste of money. I should have listened to her.
She takes a lot of time with each cut and doesn’t miss a beat. I always leave with a happy cut. One time she insisted that I let my hair grow out and when she realized she made a mistake, she had me come back in free of charge.
The one constant issue I do have with Cindy is she always sqeezes in clients during my appts. and makes me wait unnecessarily for hours after you add up all the customers she puts in while I’m waiting. My hair will be sopping wet while she takes another appt while I’m sitting there waiting for her to finish a cut from a walk in. Another time my color was setting or being conditioned, and she accepted a couple clients inbetween my color, cut and dry. Again, I ended up waiting pass the conditioning/​color treatment and ultimately stayed hours longer than I had planned. It was partially my fault for not speaking up sooner.
I believe she only did this because I’m a regular client and she figured I’d be ok with it. She would take on clients with no appts. while I waited. I was ok with it for a while, but this was getting out of hand. When I confronted her about this she stopped this practice for a while but started up again. Another instance, she actually asked if I would mind moving over so she could take a walk in! She was shocked when I said no because I had already been there a couple hours because she taking other customers in while I was sitting under the dryer after the timer ran out for 30 mins.
Her prices are high, but her cuts/​color last a while so ultimately you do get your money’s worth. In this regard, her cuts, color and blow dry are fantastic.
However, when prices are that high, I expect her undivided attention especially when I made an appt. As great as her cuts/​color are, it was just too stressful for me to waste an entire day so she can generate more business at the expense of my time.
