My favorite restaurant in the antelope valley. Servers are mostly friendly and fast. Food is sooooo damn good. Only thing is its pretty expensive. I paid $ 27 just for myself when I went alone. This is one of those restaurants where you should be scared when you get the bill lol but its okay because hey, you get what you pay for and this place is quality.

Very nice setup poor waiters took a selfie and looked back on fb seen me and my Date was served 2 hrs later after all the slow dragging talking to 2 different managers No water was served until hr later I had to ask bout there dry complimentary bread ect. No one had waitress experience clam chowder look like cream out the can my date salad was dry Happy Hour we thought so we jumped over to A YARD House the Party was over there.

One way to explain place is window maker burger oh man you have to get that such a good burger.

We have been going to this Claim Jumper for several years. We find the food great, big selection, friendly staff & management that really cares. The widow maker burger is awesome! And the Landry’s Club is great — $ 25 every birthday, and add points every time you eat at ANY Landry’s owned restaurant.

Exceptional service by our waitress and exceptional food. Will go back again soon.
Maybe tonight

Will never go back here. No one in the restaurant and we still waited 20 minutes for a beer. Our waiter came back 39 more minutes after we ordered our food and said it was lost. If finally came about an hour and 10 minutes after we were in the restaurant and it was just ok. Once we got the check there was nothing deducted or any type of discount for THEIR inconvenience. Do not recommend and I hope they go out of business for something better.

We’ve been here a few times and there’s been good and bad experiences but this review is for Friday (Jan 22^nd). We celebrated a birthday and our server Jeniffer was great. She was very attentive and nice! Also the food was excellent. My whole party was satisfied with the food. I had the fish tacos and oh my god, they were delicious!
For dessert we made room for the humongous chocolate motherlode cake :)
The manager (Anthony) was very friendly as well. We will be back!

I love their food here, it has been consistently good. I get the fish n chips and the clam chowder usually. VERY good complimentary bread here. It’s cheesy and buttery and delicious! Could compete with Olive Garden breadsticks, seriously!
The problem is that the service is sometimes very slow. Luckily the waitress was quick with refills and bread.

We were debating between yard house and claim jumper for lunch today and decided to go with a new place we’ve never been. The décor inside is gorgeous. I loved it so much. It’s also an extremely huge place and for a Tuesday lunch was expectedly empty.
The employees there were really friendly and were attentive. I was excited to find out they give complimentary bread since I live for bread.
I was really bummed when I tasted it since it was so incredibly dry. I don’t see how the bread they’re pumping out for each table was as bad as it was and they haven’t perfected it yet.
We ordered a top sirloin and a filet. They both came with soups or salads so we chose salads. Worst mistake ever. The salad was the grossest soggiest mess we’ve ever had. I had to use my fork as a spoon because of how soggy the lettuce was They croutons were the worst part. I can’t even describe the taste. It had no crunch and literally just dissolved in your mouth with no effort. I don’t know man, how do you mess up a salad. After three bites we were done with that.
The main course arrives and the steak was fine, had a lot of sauce that accompanied it. The baked potato on the side was also edible. All together it was an ok meal. I wouldn’t go back that’s for sure but I’m glad I tried it so now I know the foods not all that great.

I came here with a party of 8 to celebrate my brothers birthday. The service was great. The food was perfect. No one had a complaint .They consistently refilled our drinks and brought us anything we requested. Great Job Claim Jumpers staff!

In 4 years I’ve been here 4 times and each time its been a disaster. Always short staff management could careless if the employees are working short. 1 hour wait for a beer and a long island ice tea. After asking the manger what’s wrong he went to the bartender yelled at him then went back to the front to stand. No help to get him caught up. That’s bad management in my book. I saw 3 other tables walk out. Sad that this place can not get it together. It’s I sad when you see tables leave and the manger just waves bye. We finally had our meal after 90 minutes of waiting. I will never come back. This is the very first time I have written a negative review but this place is sad!

I came to this Claim Jumper for a work holiday lunch for about 20 – 30 people. We had 2 or 3 dedicated waitresses who took care of us the whole time. When we sat down, the table already had half a dozen loaves of the complimentary cheese bread, which was warm and delicious. I could eat an entire loaf of it on my own!
Since we were a very large party, we ordered off the menu for groups, which had about a dozen entrée options. I ordered the Widow Maker Burger. While the burger is ambitious with a lot of delicious sounding ingredients, I found it to be way too tall. I had to eat it with a knife and fork. It was tasty, but definitely difficult to eat. I was also disappointed by my side of fries, which were very skimpy and a bit cold.
The staff took good care of us since we were such a large group. The food came out much faster than expected, and they kept up with our many drink orders (most people ordered alcohol from their fairly extensive drink menu). Our entire lunch took under 2 hours, and that includes time for a white elephant gift exchange! Overall this is a good option for large parties.

I can’t believe I never knew about the complimentary cheese bread! I guess because I normally sit in the bar area for the free poppie and cheap happy hour items.
The managers here are great! I do agree that at times it can be slow, but that’s usually if it’s a prime time.
We usually order the Irish nachos, which are fries with cheese and bacon and boy, are they good! The crispy fries are cooked perfectly. I also love the mozzie sticks and potato cheesecakes. The last time I went, the cakes were mini. They were still good, but I prefer the large ones.
If you’re not ordering lunch or happy hour items, it can get pricey.
I definitely recommend joining the Landry’s select club, which pays for itself and you get a free birthday meal.

I had not been to claim jumper for a long time. Went today for lunch with friends. I like the atmosphere. We sat down our waitress was pretty good. I ordered the Atlantic salmon grilled. It came with seasoned veggies which were good and mashed potatoes. The salmon had pretty good flavor, but it was on the dry side. One of the others with me had the mahi mahi grilled and said hers was dry too.
Overall food and service was good, not great.

They have the best happy hr drinks… never fails. My fave, Lemon Drops are always on point and they’re never watered dwn.

The food was okay not so great. Was treated well by the waiter. Nothing to special in the menu either.

I’ve been coming here since it opened and thought it was time for a review. This place has given excellent service every time I’ve been by.
My favorite entrée is the chicken Cobb salad. I get it without bleu cheese crumbles and with ranch dressing on the side. Holy moly– the best salad ever! I’ll posting a pic too. For someone who eats low carb this salad is tasty and doesn’t feel like I’m cheating myself with the chicken, tomatoes, egg, cheese, bacon and avocado. Heavenly! They have a lot of stuff that low carbers can enjoy. My daughter loves their fries and chicken nuggets. Now they’re called nuggets but it’s chicken chunks. Not that nasty stuff you find in McDonald’s. I tried them and it’s good quality chicken and was so tasty.
Anyway we love this place and will be back time and again!

I have been to Claim Jumpers outside the AV and they have been all right. This location is ridiculous. Every time I have come here with friends and family it has been a nightmare! The waitresses are rude, inattentive and hostile. The food is expensive for the quality. It has taken forever to order, to get our food, and then to get the bill. I can’t stand paying so much for such a poor quality restaurant. Go to Yard House, Red Lobster, or Olive Garden, even BJs. Anything is better than this Claim Jumpers!
Tip: If you have to go here, sit in the bar area. At least there you will get service and the food is better priced.
