Pizza was delicious. Chicago style with mushrooms, onions, and sausage. I’ve never had Chicago style before and this was delicious. Antipasto salad was really good too. The olives they put in it were stuffed with mozzarella cheese. Ranch was home made and very good and Italian dressing had a nice zing to it. Definitely will be back

Decent pizza, good Caesar salad, good garlic bread. We did takeout. Pizza crust on margarita pizza was very good. We would eat here again. The location is in a strip mall, so I’m not sure if I’d eat in but definitely good for take-out.

As good as Romano’s Macaroni Grill ! Great red sauce pasta. Reminds me a lot of the Olive Garden too. The bartender with the«man bun» is a tool but aside from that ridiculousness, this place is a mainstream winner!

Been to Chicago a few times, don’t buy into the hype. And yes the staff was slow and some what snooty. Not going to come back here again. The taste of everything was so basic and store bought– nothing tasted home made. The bread in the bread basket was old, dry and flavorless, the Chicago style pizza was so mediocre it was not worth the calories, the antipasto salad basic AF. Service was overall very slow. Not coming back here again.

Lunch special with two huge thin Pizzas was worth it. I also shared a warm Tuscan Chicken Salad with GF and it too was delicious. Not many GOOD pizza places in the desert… this one is an exception!

For a deep dish Chicago style pizza, you can’t go wrong with this place. It’s as close to Gino’s and Lou’s as you can get outside of the windy city. Last week I had the hand tossed(thin crust) pizza and loved it too. The staff is friendly and gives good service and the owners are always very welcoming. It’s becoming my regular go-to place when I’m in Palm Springs from the South Bay.

Let’s start with the fact that this place calls what they serve food. Ordered the«Chicago» deep dish, slimy and oily. when you take a piece off everything slides off and all you are left with is a slimy crust flap. I am from Chicago and this pizza is not even close! Next point is the so called service. went in on a Tuesday and it was slow. there was no host or anyone at the counter in the front. had to look for someone and was told it would be a few minutes because they were busy. Unless the customers were ghosts, they we not even close to busy! The people that worked there were more interested in talking to each other than helping people. 15 minutes for drinks? cannot have a booth because it was just two people? WHAT? I really do not know how this place still exists, so many bad reviews at this place. NEVEREVEREATTHERE! EVER! I rate this place a negative 5 stars! oh and to the owners, you guys should get your stuff together.

Great Veggie Pizza! I realize that pizza without meat is unthinkable to many people, so this review is for those who enjoy their pizzas with fresh, tasty vegetables. The usual veggies, plus tender artichoke hearts and sweet onions, really pots this pizza over the top. Combined with the great thin crust and outstanding tomato sauce, this is a pizza I’ll have again and again.

Not a restaurant for couples who want pizza. Great food for three or more but if it’s just the two of you, they will only seat you at a table for two which is not big enough for the two of you and one of their pizzas, even of the small ones. The two of us walked in tonight, the first Monday after Coachella and the end of the popular season in Palm Springs. As expected, the restaurant was half empty as most restaurants will be until the end of long, hot summer. There were half a dozen open tables for four and one for two people. They sat the two of us at the table for two. Having been here many times before, we knew that there wasn’t enough room for the two of us and the pizza we intended to order, so we asked to be moved to a larger table. The hostess(she said she was also the manager) said no, that they did not seat parties of two at larger tables no matter how many empty tables they had at the restaurant and that there was nothing she could do. We went to the restaurant next door and had a great dinner. But we were sad because we like Giuseppe’s food and realized that we wouldn’t be coming back. Fortunately there are several good restaurants in the same complex. And I’m not surprised that they were all busier than Giuseppe’s. I looked in as we left, they still had four empty tables for four. Giuseppe’s has gone from the most popular restaurant at the Smoketree Plaza to the least popular. Now I know why. Edit: Thank you for responding Kim and spreading the word about your policy.

Giuseppe’s offers a very nice experience in a relaxed atmosphere. Here is my take: 1. Seating at the bar is tight but comfortable B+ 2. Service is excellent. The bartender knows his job A 3. Prices are fair given the quality. A 4. The food is excellent. If they worked just bit on presentation I think folks would really rate this place better. That said the food taste was terrific. Their vegetables were excellent. My steak was done as requested. Their pasta offerings all looked wonderful. A Well worth your time to eat here.

Greetings, Thursday night, place jumping, 7:30PM. We met a decidedly indifferent young man who was hosting. There were clearly three unreserved tables for two against the north wall. With no apparent concern or even a «Hi,» maître d’ offhandedly muttered a vague, distant wait time. Nobody was standing around waiting. Another hostess, a young woman next to Mr. Vague, giggled nervously. In the face of an absence of welcome, uncertain wait time, and clearly open tables, we politely declined. Glad business is so good Giuseppe’s can treat patrons without consideration, and expect them to nod and smile. Bad show, «host» and«hostess.» Andy Gregg, Palm Springs.

This was our second trip to Giuseppe’s and man, did it disappoint. Our first trip was great but on this occasion, several months after the initial visit, the service has lagged a great deal. We are four and a highchair and we were seated outside with several seats in direct Palm Springs PM sunlight. The shade helped half the table, not the others. Then our server arrived and seemed completely disinterested in helping. Needless to say, we won’t be back!

Definitely recommend trying the Chicago style thick pan pizza. Very cheesy and crispy in the bottom with a thick layer of house made tomato sauce. I started off with calamari and their house French fries, which are very delish. The serving size was so large that I didn’t have room for dessert.

We had high hopes that this would be as good as Giordano’s but this fell flat. The sausage pizza was too bland and as other reviews have stated there is about 1 piece of sausage per piece. We got the Chicago style which they advertise on their site as «thick pizza not thick crust» but was thin and soggy. The caprese salad was ok but again too bland. Icing on the cake: ordered half with no sauce(due to a tomato allergy) and it was full sauce. Thought it was our mistake but invoice on box said half no sauce. Delivery takes a while when ordering the Chicago style(almost 2 hours) which we were fine with but there was no chance we were waiting another 2 hours for them to correct our order and bring a new pizza so we didn’t bother asking. Would have looked past not getting our order right if the food was at least good but it just wasn’t worth the money(or the calories)! I do want to give them credit for their dessert. The«most incredible dessert» is a tasty chocolate, caramel, and coconut, gooey dessert bar — extra star for that!

Located a few miles from Downtown Palm Springs, this gem is situated back from the street among other strip mall businesses. In door and outdoor seating is available. Th patio is on the west side of the building which puts it in the sun during the afternoon. We arrived for an early dinner and the restaurant was not very busy. Service was prompt and friendly. Water glasses were delivered shortly after being seated. Giuseppe’s has an extensive menu but our quest was for a great pizza. Pizza is advertised as Chicago style and is available in a Hand Tossed Thin Crust and a Pan Pizza which is a thick pizza, not thick crust, think deep dish. We ordered a thin crust small size with sausage and cheese. This pizza was the genuine article. Tasty sauce and nice chunks of sausage with just right amount of fennel. The size was just right for the two of us. No worry about taking left overs back to the hotel. Chicago style pizza lovers should put Giuseppe’s on their must do list.

Enjoyed a great italian dinner at this restaurant tonight. David our waiter was most helpful. Service was a bit slow tonight, but think it was due to it being NEWYEARSDAY. The bread they served was warm and very tasty. Had the house salad, it was OK. My husband ordered the minestrone soup, which he thought was a bit on the bland side. I ordered the paste with italian sausage and pink vodka sauce, outstanding and plenty to split with my husband And for checking in with Unilocal,we received a very large scoop of vanilla Gelato, it was so creamy and delish! We will be returning for Pizza next time.

We came here with some friends on a Friday night and didn’t have to wait at all, although the place was packed. I ordered a glass of cabernet to go along with my meal, and it was really good! For the table, we started with Joe’s Cheesy Garlic Bread and ordered a large half Eggplant Parmesan half House Special deep dish pizza. They brought bread for the table, which was pretty decent. The cheesy garlic bread came out pretty fast and it was reallly good! Crispy crust and super soft center, and obviously cheesy. The pizza was also very good. I enjoyed the ricotta cheese on top and the crispy pieces of eggplant. It was a great combination overall. Would I come back? Yes! We had a great dinner together and really enjoyed the food, drinks, and company :)

FAIL once again. Thought I’d give them another shot for $ 15 Sunday brunch with bottomless campaign and an entrée. This place is a joke. It was empty, employees were yelling across the restaurant in Spanish and other guests were looking around and we had eye contact like what’s going on. My bottomless campaign got cut off after I tipped almost 40% and took my bill. Waited almost 45 minutes for a glass of water that never showed up. Why is this place still in business? I try but staff let’s me down, takes my generous tip and throws me out. I don’t get it. I try to support local businesses but if nobody there cares, why should I?

Probably the best pizza here in the desert. VERY good. The Chicago deep dish. Get it. Pizza is what to get here. Be careful ordering the salads and pasta. Some are good and some are not. It’s a nice place and the servers are excellent! If they are busy they may look understaffed but the servers are real pros and can handle it with a smile.
