Old world type of pub with genuine old oak beams. It has a single long bar with four varied real ales. The food is expensive but excellent quality. There is a car park at the back and a garden. The staff are friendly.

Decent fast food but borderline retarded workers who can’t accept that they’ve made a mistake no matter how apparent. Check your order/sauces/straws/napkins before you drive away, no matter how clear you thought you were. It would seem that 3 middle-aged white guys could get a drive-thru order straight… but no. not once.

Pretty good food and sometimes has good deals like the 2 for $ 3 specials. Overall their food is pretty good, but things like their fries are a lot smaller portions than most other fast food restaurants, and you pay a lot more for these small portions. On this occasions, we tried the fully loaded fries and they were AWESOME! Just kind of pricy for a small portion. I enjoy the food here, but the prices are a bit steep compared to other places.

While it is true there are Checkers in many places, when I think of Florida I do think of Checkers. Down here on vacation we wanted to squeeze in a meal here. On our way back from the beach we pulled in. I have been dining at this location since 1991. It is good stuff. I opted today for the Big Buford meal; Gert had the Cheese Champ. We ordered medium size. We both commented how large a medium drink was. My burger was very good. The cheese could have been melted better, but it was acceptable. We both had seasoned fries. It occurred to me that Checkers was probably the first place I had seasoned fries. These were very good today. We are fans of Checkers. Good stuff here.
