Super yummy! I had make your own omelet. It came with an English muffin that was paired with delicious strawberry purée on the side. My daughter had the French toast, yum!

Searching for a good hearty breakfast and clean friendly atmosphere. This place met all of that and the food was wonderful. I had the Southwest Benedict and it was so good I couldn’t stop eating. The portions are very large so you have to bring you appetite with you. Left here very full and happy.

I like coming here on my days off. The wait is never too long, the service is nice and quick, and the food is even better! I love the Tuna melts!

Stopped in for breakfast on Father’s Day with a buddy and our two boys. We were seated immediately, which was nice. We thought we’d have a wait wherever we went. The service was so-so. Couple guys filling waters and coffee regularly, but our server took a bit of time to get to us. She was super nice, so the tardiness was forgiven. I ordered the chorizo scramble, my buddy a had Mexican dish with tortilla chips and enchilada sauce? and the boys ordered chocolate chip pancakes. The chorizo was dry and unappealing. From the second it hit the table I wished I had ordered basic bacon and eggs. My buddy’s dish was soggy, but flavorful. He had the same comment-wish he had ordered something different. The salsa that came with our dishes looked and tasted like Pace Picante. I expect better in Southern California. They kids ordered chocolate chip pancakes. What is not to love. When ordering, the waitress asked if they wanted a short stack of full stack. My son asked the difference and she said a short stack ONLY has 2 pancakes. Well, they got the full stacks. When the pancakes came, they were GINORMOUS!!! My son ate 1.5 and my buddy’s kid ate just a ½. Kind of feel like the waitress could offer a simple«our pancakes are really big and most people can only finish a short stack». Just before leaving, she said the same thing(«short stack is only 2 pancakes») to a woman who was all of 100 pounds. Overall I felt this was a 2.5 star rating, but they threw in a complimentary mimosa, which gave them an extra ½ star. Total meal was $ 60, which seemed a bit high. Big portions, but mediocre food.

So far the service has been ok, ordered side salad has not been brought out to us, they got two big parties and so far I have seen only one waiter, waiter brought out food and told him that we wanted the side salad before our and his response was I thought you wanted as your side on the lunch special, um no that wasn’t explained to us, he did not come back to see if the meal was ok or if he could fix the problem, the whole point of getting fish n chips is for the fries! And didn’t receive them! No lemon or vinegar for the fish! Will no be coming back, Will not tell friends to go there! This was our second time there and got bad service last time wanted to give them a second chance but no more! Good luck if you try them

I eat here(La Quinta) for breakfast 2 – 3 times a month on weekdays. Food is always freshly made and the service generally is exceptional. I can’t speak for weekends when I’m sure it’s crazy busy. Their weekday specials for $ 8.99 are generous and the coffee at over $ 3 a cup is fresh and hot. French toast is good, bacon crispy and the home fries well done mixed with peppers and onions, killer. Recently, I had their burger special(6 oz patty with all the fixings) and the steak fries. Excellent lunch. They also will make you a BLT salad(no longer on the menu), but just ask your server and you won’t be disappointed. It’s a homey place that used to have decadent desserts,(not sure if they still do,) but who can find room for dessert following one of Louise’s meals? I certainly can’t. Louise’s closes at 2 so get there early enough to enjoy a good meal and people watch. A regular

The corned beef hash was really good. If you are like me and my girlfriend who are not huge eaters. Just order 1 and split it… the serving is HUGE! Regular customer here.

Good breakfast and excellent service! Hashbrowns are crunchy and made into a rectangle. I like mine crunchy but these were a tad too much for me, but still edible. Eggs and bacon cooked perfectly. Reasonably priced breakfast and fast service. Our waitress was super friendly, I wish I had gotten her name.

Came here for the first time. It was very difficult to telephone this place and make a reservation.. We kept getting the La Quinta location. We did eventually find the number for the Palm Desert location. The food was great. We had breakfast. The best thing was the customer service. Our server was Michael and he was fabulous. We all said afterwards that he’s going places. Smart kid and personable. We had a nice time.

Place is awesome food is excellent, Sunday free mimosas on point. The old owner bartender is soooooooolow as molasses however, Both times I’ve been here it took him over six mins, to make my drink, unable to multi-task he cannot talk and make a drink. Bummer, everything else is 4stars

Evocative of a stroll through the Museum of the Mesozoic from the parking lot entrance in back to the front reception desk(look who’s talking), Louise’s Pantry was bustling… er, substantially populated… on a Monday lunch hour. We were directed to wait about five minutes for a table in one of the building’s two wings when it appeared several empty tables were available. No matter, it was clear that the staff at that time had its hands full, and we had our choice of overhead flat-screens to watch muted CNN in one wing, and a different cable channel on more-distant TVs in the roadside wing. Almost 10 minutes later tables opened up, we were seated and beverage orders were taken and filled. The restaurant has a full bar, but we didn’t notice any mixology happening when we thought to look. Further service was slow in arriving, but we were recognized almost another 10 minutes later, offered an apology, and it was on with the show. We didn’t have to dawdle with decision-making because we started perusing the menu in the waiting area, and developed a plan of attack with our Val-Pak free-meal coupon that would expire in less than two hours. We decided on a special scramble that featured carnitas, and Louise’s Reuben(«Good choice,» said the waitress). Both were actually good choices. The scramble contained quality ingredients all the way down to the bed of fried cubed potatoes, and the Reuben was well-packed with corned beef, Swiss cheese and a thin layer of sauerkraut on grilled marble rye with a side of unique pecan-accented coleslaw, a much better deal than an identical meal in a deli setting. Keep those coupons coming, Louise’s, because the other useful coupon in that mailer is 2-for-1 lunch and $ 2 off each dinner at Casuelas Café, another favorite, and your discount makes you first choice, unless we’re «dying» for Mexican.

Was supposed to meet some friends for breakfast here and I got the date wrong. So I decided to stay for breakfast anyway. It was so good! Nothing super fancy, just eggs cooked the way I ordered them, and big sausages that were so filling, I ended up taking one home for my dog. Highly recommended.

Always wonderful :) I’ve been coming to the LA Quinta restaurant for a long time and was sad not to have it close when I moved to Palm desert. I was very pleased when I saw they opened a new one in PD. Went to breakfast like I used to and it felt like I was back. Great food, friendly service. I will be here on Sunday morning from now on.

Came here for breakfast before heading back to So Cal. Overall is was ok. They have a good large selection of breakfast and lunch fare. I had a build your own scramble which came out just as I ordered. There was no issue, but it’s hard to mess that kind of thing up right? Kids pancakes and french toast were fine. Except I also ordered an egg for the little one and it never came. I had to ask for it later. Mom had benedict that she said the sauce was not very good. Hubs had a pastrami that he said was ok but nothing special. So there it is. I guess you stick with the basics and you won’t be dissatisfied? The waiter was nice and I think he felt bad about the egg… but really, how hard would it have been to notice it never came out? It was not busy.

I was here a couple months ago with some girlfriends for a brunch, this was in September so it was still quiet but the snowbirds were slowly trickling back into the desert. I was slightly surprised at how quiet it was tho compared to their big sister(the Louise’s Pantry in LQ) is always busy. There were maybe two or three other tables there besides us. Even during the hot summer, the LQ spot is so busy for breakfy/brunch/lunch. You can see this location from 111 quite well. Maybe people weren’t sure it was open yet? You can tell that I was new, very, very clean. Mimosas are always a great idea with brunch! The food was okay, my eggs were a little more done than I had asked for. But the rest of the food tasted fine, tasted like regular brunch food. Not outstanding, but not terrible. Definitely going back during season to see if they’ve had any improvements! Oh, and our server wasn’t very attentive. I’m not sure where she was most of the time — but the bussers were very helpful. Overall it’s an alright place to get a bite to eat in the morning.
