Seriously this place was amazing. Efrain helped my boyfriend and I as we came in for some breakfast and he was beyond helpful, I never had an empty coffee cup. I got the biscuits and gravy with a pancake and my boyfriend got the chorizo burrito and wow. Food was so fresh and tasty I recommend this place for anyone who wants some great food. Perfect service and amazing food what more can you ask for?

This place is in between Michaels and Trader Joe’s. We got seated inside right away. When we sat down, I thought we were next to the restrooms because there was a small of bathroom cleaner. Restrooms were a good distance away from our table. We ordered the blueberry pancakes. They were light and fluffy. But deceiving, as we got really full. They were yummy. Service was good. Our server was very attentive.

This place is located in the corner of a shopping center between Michael’s and Trader Joe’s. Easy to miss. Good parking available. Nice staff. Cute place. Good menu with decent pricing. My son’s bacon was too crispy. My hollandaise sauce tasted like mayonnaise but everything else was ok. Just morning to write home about exactly. The bonus was the writers waiters were totally hot.

I think my expectations were a little high due to the reviews. We ordered two different egg plates which included bacon, wheat toast, and wheat pancakes between the both of them. Taste was average, but portions were large. The four stars are due to great customer service.

Great friendly staff and the outdoor patio is great to have breakfast on. Their banana pancakes are to die for! The biscuits and gravy are good and well flavored.

Good breakfast and good coffee. Short staffed on the day we went. Only one waiter in the restaurant for most of our visit. Another waiter punched in and started helping him after we were done eating. Will go back.

This was my very first time here at the Palms Café however the two servers on duty today made me feel like I was a regular I felt at home and like this was my local Diner that I always go. The service there was absolutely amazing of course the food was wonderful I ordered the eggs bacon and hash brown and it came with this huge massive delicious wonderful pancake. If you’re ever in Palm Springs and Indian Wells you must visit the Palms Café the food is great and very reasonable.

Delicious hole in the wall kinda place with good food selection, price & portions. Great service by our waiter Franco. Food was out fast & cooked to perfection. The place is dated, and very simple but it was clean. Food was very good & service was excellent. Will definitively be back. Not your place if you want Eggs Benedict or a cappuccino. Their regular coffee was actually good and worth the try. Thank you!

The Palms Café was a delightful brunch spot. My southwest omelette was actually quite dry. The grilled chicken tasted excellent for what it was, but the omelette as a whole was bone dry and missing the ooey gooeiness of a traditional omelette. It ended up working out well with the scoop of excellent guacamole that came with it. We were told the buttermilk pancake was what The Palms Café was famous for and they were right. One of the best I’ve ever had! Overall a great little budget-friendly place.

Amazing breakfast place! My boyfriend and I were in the desert for the weekend and we wanted to check out a good breakfast place and we ended up here! We were seated right away(around 11:30AM on a Saturday). They have inside and outside seating for those of you with a preference. When we sat down we were greeted right away and asked what drinks we wanted. We both got large orange juices. We were looking at the menu and they offer quite a bit of variety! All their egg dishes come with a choice of potatoes, fruit, tomatoes, or cottage cheese and then a choice of toast, a pancake, or a biscuit!(They’re famous for their pancakes) I love how they offer that since I always want pancakes and and omelet, but can never choose, and I don’t have to here! I got the California Omelet — comes with turkey and avocado, but I subbed it was sausage and added mushrooms. My sides were the house fries and a wheat pancake! When the food came out I was so excited — huge portions and it smelled great. The egg was thin and the filling was inside, kind of like a burrito — it was the first time I’ve ever had an omelet like that and I’m a fan now! There was so much filling, I loved it. The avocado was on the side and it was pretty fresh. The potatoes were great, a little salty, but I’m not a huge fan of salt, so they probably taste great to everyone else. The wheat pancake was amazing! First off, it was huge, literally the size of my hand, and I have pretty big hands. It was just perfect. My boyfriend got the Southwest Omelet with hashbrowns and a buttermilk pancake. He thought it was all very delicious too and that definitely says something because he is a huge pancake snob. The omelets were $ 11.50 each, so it’s not too bad for how much food you get. Definitely will come back when I get the chance!

First time visit. Quiet and very attentive staff. Somewhat unique, in that, every time our waiter passed our table he ask if everything was okay and did we need anything. Once we answered, on maybe his third passing, «Everything is great we need nothing…» He didn’t stop again until we raised our hand to request the check. Impressive to us. ENTREES: easy, Easy, EASY Scrambled Eggs cooked to perfection; Crispy bacon ordered and delivered. During our extended weekend in the Valley we tried six different restaurants for their PANCAKES. The Palms Café won hands-down. Buttermilk taste, Thin, and not overly sugary. Great care guys!

We just had breakfast here this morning. The banana pancakes are the best! But please get new baskets for the cream! There are many years of grime on them. It’s hard to eat your delicious food while looking at that gross basket;(

Bad service, good food. Sassy, lying hostess. Said there was no wait. Cooked in the sun for 15 minutes until golden brown, waiting for a table. Food was bomb-diggity. They don’t like to wash their dishes though — got a cup with lipstick stains on it. Also, they over-cook their eggs. Stupid small dogs were barking at us from the patio.

Finding this gem on Unilocal was easier than its physical location(it’s in the far left corner). The café has in and out door seating. Their service it superb. The food is über fresh and pricing is reasonable. I’ll definitely come back.

Thanks to Unilocal I found a yummy spot for a delicious breakfast while in Palm Desert! It’s a small spot hidden in a corner of strip mall. Place has outside seating with shade covers as well. It was pretty busy and I noticed that they were understaffed but our waiter was efficient being that he had so much to do. We felt so bad seeing him run around trying to keep everyone happy. We definitely left him a good tip. Place is just for breakfast and lunch so they close around 3pm. The pancakes are big and fluffy! We ordered chocolate chip, blueberry and buttermilk! The blueberry and chocolate chip were loaded with pieces. Each bite was melting in my mouth! I ordered an omelette with potatoes, sausage, mushrooms and cheese with a side of tomatoes. It was packed with ingredients and I doused it with Tabasco for the right taste! The hubby wasn’t happy with corn beef hash because he said it tasted like it came from a can! He grubbed though:-)) They provide a variety of jellies for toast and different flavor creamers for your cup of joe. The hot chocolate is sweet swirled with whip cream. If I’m back in the area I will be back to eat!
