Zizzo Joseph OD

There isn’t anyone I’d trust with my eyes or those of my son’s other than Dr. Zizzo. He has a wonderful ability to put both adults and kids at ease — and had endless patience when my son first got contact lenses. When my son was older and had other health issues that involved his eyes, Dr. Zizzo researched everything, and reassured us both. His willingness to work with me on pricing when I no longer had insurance was unbelievable — he’s one in a million and I can’t recommend him highly enough! Thank you, Dr. Zizzo — you’re one of the truly good guys!

My family and I have been going to Dr Zizzo for over 20 years now. He is one of the very few independent optometrists left. Not only does he always get my prescription right the first time but what he charges is significantly less than any of the big chains.
For example, 8 months ago I went in for an eye exam and purchased a new pair of designer glasses from him. I don’t have any type of vision insurance anymore because my employer discontinued that from our health plan, so it’s all out of pocket. When it was all said and done, he charged me less than ½ of what I paid at LensCafters the last time I purchased glasses, when I DID have vision care on my insurance! Then 8 months goes by and my dog chewed up my glasses. I went in to order a new pair (expecting to pay full price) and he set me up with a new pair of glasses and gave them to me at HIS cost! I guarantee that none of the other big chains would do that for a customer.
He’s a great optometrist and a very reputable businessman. He’s been at this a long time and I can tell you that he is a really nice person and will go out of his way to ensure that you are a satisfied customer.
I’d absolutely recommend him.
