Rigo’s Burgers

My father liked his food. I didn’t like the chili cheese fries. Plus paying 8 dollars for chili cheeses fries doesn’t even sound right. Plus the cheese taste terrible. Stick to the basic — fries and burger like the other ppl.

After mining gems locally, we stopped for a burger after reading other positive Unilocal reviews. No disappointments here. Lunch for two for under $ 15.00

This burger has so many adjectives fresh homemade and delicious. We came from Ocotillo Wells and needed to fill our belly for the long drive home. The service was quick and friendly. We were all shivering from the cold and the owner closed the door and brought out a heater for us to make us warm and cozy. That reflects their customer service and then the food was great to boot. We will stop here again on our way up and back from Ocotillo Wells or any time we are in the area. It’s very small with seating for about 10

This is one of the best burgers I have tasted, the chili cheese fries are amazing also, the need to have more indoor seating, 5 stars on the food

Ohhhh my! That’s what I have to say. My son came home raving about how «life changing» the bacon cheeseburger he ate from Rigo’s was… so of course I had to go. Went there this weekend and the burgers were on point. The bacon cheeseburger is too big for me. I’m a little lady… But I had a taste… ok, a ginormous bite from my husband’s. Good lawd! I had a regular cheeseburger and that was soo good. It’s a bit out of our way but it’s definitely worth the drive. The seating isn’t all that great but it’s worth dealing with that because of the burgers. Fries are good and the service is great. Oh and they have fruit empanadas that are tasty too! Two thumbs up for this little place.

Food is excellent! Everything I’ve had is amazing. Always made when you order so everything is fresh and hot. This does tend to slow down your order a bit, but totally worth it. Prices are reasonable. If you need it quick call ahead of time and make the order over the phone.

This place is a little hole in the wall right across the street from Pala casino. It’s a good local option as there are not too many places to eat in the area. The décor is a little outdated, but just what you’d expect for a hole in the wall. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The menu is on the wall.
I ordered a regular cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. The cheeseburger is good, what you would expect to get at a charbroiler. It comes with meat cheese pickles lettuce tomato onions and mayo. I had them grill my onions.
The chili cheese fries were good, it definitely taste like chili you get out of a can. Same with the cheese.
I took a bite of the big daddy burger, so good, and had a little spice to it.
The fries are crinkle cut, pretty yummy.

What a hidden jem. Usually drive pass or stop at Pala. But on weekend stop the crowed was way over my head to wait in line and thought to find my way to next casino that I saw this nice burger joint right across this huge casino with no people in line :).
One of the best burgers in town in par with the Rockies in PB. Will definitely be back.

Five stars is so spot on for this little hole in the wall burger place.
It’s located across from Pala Casino and during a recent visit, we decided to finally give it a try.
They had «Hawaiian Burger» advertised as their special of the day but it didn’t really describe what was in it, just that it came with fries and soda. I just assumed it would come with pineapple like some of the Hawaiian burgers I have had before. I was a little disappointed that it did not but the burger was still good. Whatever sauce they used had a little kick to it. The fries were good as well. As for the soda, they just give you a can.
There’s a couple of tables inside and there’s outside seating as well.
Can’t complain with the service.

I stopped in for a Burger. I tried the Big Rigo with fries.
Wow, delicious! The fries were hand cut and not nuked. Mom in the kitchen was one good cook. The service was great. Family run.
You may need a fork with the burger. It is very filling

We stopped here after doing the pala gem mining thing down the rd. I’m always really skeptical of little hole in the all places but my husband was starving and I couldn’t refuse lol we get in there and it’s really clean looking which gave me immediate relief. The lady couldn’t have been any nicer to us. I ordered a cheeseburger combo and my husband a pastrami burger combo and the food was excellent. A delicious home style cheese burger with fresh crispy toppings well put together. Really hot fresh steak fries you had to wait a while to eat they were so hot. I’m happy we stopped we will be coming here again when we are that way =)

Totally worth the drive. Family owned, family run, great food. Maybe the best burger you will ever have!

Really tiny small place, very friendly people. The food is made fresh while you wait. The burgers and fries taste home made, fries are thick, crisp on the outside. Very nice experience, the only thing is that the table and ketchup/​mustard bottles were a bit sticky.

Awesome small business! After having been there twice the owner remembers my name. Rigos does have off menu items; in fact, they will make you anything you want or any combination of what’s on the menu as long as they have the ingredients on site. Pretty amazing. The farmers market next door is great and I was told that they mostly carry items from small local farmers. If your pulling a trailer to the desert they have plenty of parking for large motor homes, trucks and trailers etc. A+++ burger joint!
