I have a lot of respect for restaurants that make everything themselves, even the pickle spear on the plate and the kimchi garnish. Riff Raff is not a brewery content on making good beer and feeding its patrons the same bar food you find everywhere. Without the beer, Riff Raff would be a restaurant worth visiting. We had the yak burger, lamb burger, trippy hippie burger and pulled pork sliders. The burgers came out cooked as ordered and the sides were awesome. I would come back just for the black beans. The only item on our plates that was not made in house were the buns and they were good too.

The Asian wings were tasty and the burger hit the spot. Sat on the patio and enjoyed the strung lights, band and beer sampler. We will definitely be back. The servers were very nice.

We were passing through town and came to eat here when I asked a salesgirl where to get the best salad and she suggested this restaurant. The Cobb salad with smoked chicken was outstanding. But it was the homemade cilantro salad dressing that really stood out. The beer was good too

Nachoes ok. Beer great and service slow! For small town it’s an ok place. Would like to see more IPA’s on the menu.

This place was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying at so we had high hopes. We were greater immediately and told that our wait was 15min and we could grab a drink from the bar if we wished. So we went to the bar for maybe 5 min got beers and sat in the waiting area. 30min went by and we noticed people who were there much after us were being seated. We kindly asked our wait time and our name had been crossed off the list and the woman said she could not find us. This couldn’t have been true because we were ten steps away from the entrance the entire time. After 45min we finally got a table. The wait staff was not very attentive but I would have to say the food was great! If you are looking g for good food and not necessarily great customer service this place would be it and who knows maybe t was just a bad day.

As good as it gets! Beer: I am starting with beer, we all know why you are considering stopping by. The beer is fantastic. I have have tried half of what is on the menu, but if you are an IPA fan the Hopgoblin is amazing. Not an IPA fan? Swing by anyway, everything is good. Food: Solid. It’s fast and great brewery food. Have a beer, eat some food. Owner(s): I stopped by after closing. I was in a jam and needed to bum some wifi. Despite technical problems(that were affecting the whole town), Jason(one of the owners) went out of his way to help me out. Would have been easy to say sorry we are closed, especially while the staff was cleaning up, but he didn’t. You can tell these guys love what they do and they are very good at it. I had an awesome experience with one of the owners. Of course that influenced my rating. However, the beer really is fantastic and every time I am in Pagosa I stop by Riff Raff. I have been doing this before and after my great experience with Jason. My only regret is not bringing a growler back to the cabin.

I’m so happy this place opened in Pagosa Springs. They take their beer seriously, and were solid from day one. Since then, they have periodically offered some excellent big beers, as well as some very good seasonals. They feature a lot of creativity and use of traditional ingredients for the locale. Despite going outside the box, most of their experiments work. They even have an «Outlaw Tap» for rapidly-rotating, mad-scientist brews. They are not for everyone(including me sometimes), but they understand that, and make tiny pours available. Every good brewery runs experiments. It’s what improves the breed. Bravo to Riff Raff for working so hard on their beer. Despite the popularity and resulting traffic increasing through Riff Raff, I have found the service to be fantastic. There are just really upbeat, kind people working there! For those looking for food, think brewpub menu with a lot of creative twists. I’ve always been impressed with my orders.

This has a very relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. We set out on the patio and the weather was lovely. We enjoyed the specialties of a lamb burger and a Yak burger. Burgers have special aioli sauces that are over the top. Yak is very tender, tasty and lean. Server compared taste to a high quality beef sirloin. I would say better. Their pickles are soaked in Brown beer(before it has been fermented), Basalmic vinegar and brown sugar; sooo good. I had delicious draft root beer and my husband tried a flight of beers and another glass. He thought the red and porter were pretty good, but did not like Spruce(tasted like medicine). All the employees were friendly and efficient. I would definitely go back to try more from their menu. Majority of menu items are prepared with some beer or ale treatment and special sauces. Delish!

In a trip from Boulder to Telluride we stayed one night in Pagosa Springs. This was one of the most enjoyable meals we have had in a while. Yak Burger was delicious, as were the egg app and the Cobb Salad. Great music and vibe in the garden. Our girls enjoyed playing with the large block Jenga. In from out of town? Don’t pass this one up.

The hubby and I spilt a Nacho Bidness with smoked chicken — tasty. He ordered a porter, and I had the standard margarita. It was… standard. I wanted the seasonal tart cherry beer, but they were out. The nachos were yummy. Chips are made in-house and toppings are generous, though the smoked chicken was MIA. Service was quick and friendly on a Saturday night. Atmosphere is trendy and upbeat.

After hiking hub and I stopped by for a bite. I ordered the plain Jane without a bun and a side salad and coke with lite ice. Hub ordered a hippie overload burger. We also ordered chips and salsa that are fresh made. The burgers were made fresh and cooked perfectly. Waitress was attentive and ensured my soda glass was always full. We highly recommend this place as they«do it right».

We were two women who got no service. We waited forever and had to ask someone to help us. Mac and cheese was cold and sliders were less than room temp but good flavor. Beer flight was delish so if you’re a dude and just want beer maybe this is the place for you otherwise… Ehhh Amazing for a place that basically runs on tourism. I won’t be returning. Ever.

Fabulous food experience all around! Here on Memorial Day weekend told we had a 40 minute wait. We were seated within 15, outside nice family style picnic table right in front music! Ordered Dude burger, pork sliders, southwestern salad, smoked chicken wings, trippin’ hippie burger, kids cheeseburger with homemade kettle chips. No one left hungry all satisfied! Stepchild American red, bolsh beers, homemade root and ginger beers and a Moscow mule. Taking home two slices cake: carrot and peanut butter chocolate. Two slices look like a whole cake! Brinley took great care of us. Music provided by . That’s a whole nuther review! So hot! Great rhythm, powerful! Buy his CD

Decent beer and decent food. Nice outdoor seating area. The location is prime and the wait staff friendly. Compared to other local breweries they are pretty good. Some standards and some experiments. Good place to sit outdoors and chill.

Best nacho appetizer ever. We aren’t big beer drinkers but our friends that are love the beer. The wine on tap is cheap and drinkable. The burgers are amazing I just wish they served fries because when I’m not at home I like to cheat and eat fries. Ha. It’s all around great food and atmosphere!

This place is quite solid. The beer was more of a highlight for me then the food, but the food overall wasn’t bad, it was more or less perfectly average. Nobody dared to try the yak burger so I can’t speak to that however. Overall the place has a fun vibe and an interesting Big Lebowski themed menu, that we all more or less enjoyed.

The nachos and pulled pork mac and cheese were amazing. We also got the flight beer and for $ 5, it was worth every penny. I was a little disappointed with the burger. I had the kimchi burger and as a Korean, I was excited to see how they would create a fusion dish. It was disappointing to see how they incorporated the kimchi with the burger. The lamb burger that my friend got, however, was surprisingly very good and I sort of wished I ordered that instead.

The lamb burger was decent but the beef burger(mushroom one) was no bueno… old beef. The nachos were very good though; we ordered both. Neat flights of beer.
