Great curry and fried chicken. I moved away to the west side but really missed this place. Came to visit my folks and had to come back. Still as good as ever.

Came with the boyfriend for take out. This was our first time here. We were told by a friend that this place was really good. I was always hesitant coming in here because of the way it looks like when you drive by. The place looks really run down. The inside didn’t help either. But I’m optimistic. We ordered: –broccoli beef –seafood soup(large) –beef chow mein –mixed meats friend rice –1 order of the famous shrimp rolls Our total was $ 42. Broccoli beef was enough for one. It came with rice. The taste was ok. As for the soup this is where I was really disappointed. The soup was super small and the fish was so gross, it was almost see thru. It had a weird consistency and the soup only had 2 shrimp. I wouldn’t recommend it. I have had this soup a million times in other Thai places and they are all a bit different but delicious. The chow mein had very little beef slices in it. The mixed meats fried was super bland. It didn’t have that fried rice flavor. The fried shrimp rolls were the best thing. But they should cone with a dipping sauce of some sort. Don’t think I’ll come back. Of I do it’ll be only for the shrimp rolls and I’ll order some kind of sweet and sour sauce if they have any.

My good friend«sounddude» keeps introducing me to some incredible eating establishments. He tends to like many things, but his passion might just be Thai food. The other day, he asks me if I like fried chicken, I answer, do cops have a quota? He related to me about this joint across the street from Whiteman Airport, and that I had to try it out. The universe agreed, all things converged, and we managed to get in the place before our regular Thursday Bible Study meeting. Once I ordered the half of a fried chicken, and was informed that the chicken takes half an hour to prep and cook, I also ordered some beef chow mein to munch on while waiting for the main dish. The chow mein was so good, I told my bud that the fried chicken was going to have be something very special to out do this dish. The chow meins base were these perfectly cooked egg noodles, with broccoli, cabbage and carrots, in this really good, lightly sauced beef mixture, really a big portion of sliced beef too. Once I added a dash of Sriracha and a few drops of their soy sauce, I was in noodle heaven. I mean it was that good. Once the chicken arrived, it was so hot that it was not even touchable. I think they cook it in a portable volcano or something. The coating was a perfect golden brown, and it had a crunch to it that was not only perfect in texture, but the flavor, once it cooled some, was out of this world! The chicken meat itself was so juicy and tender that you are thinking that fried chicken served elsewhere just went out the window forever! Sounddude had the Panang(which he admitted was his favorite dish here), this sounded like Da Nang to my ear. He gave me a spoonful and it was incredible; chicken, mixed veggies in sort of a peanut, coconut milk, and gentle Thai spice flavored sauce, almost like a stew when you get right down to it. I never tasted anything like that before, and I think I’ll be getting some next visit. The taste was over the top good. The Thai Iced tea was also very tasty, and is a must have when visiting this outstanding little ‘hole in the wall’ eatery. The regular«American» Iced Tea is also unique; basically its really the Thai tea without the sweet milky concoction, and its most refreshing! I’m a fan! In short, between the quality of the food, and the very friendly wait staff, I was highly impressed and am moving this up to the top of my favorite eatery list. Just remember if you are in a hurry, call ahead to order your fried chicken, and just tell them about when you plan to arrive.

Not the best thai food place. Didn’t have the dishes we like to order. Pad thai was way to sweet. Fried rice wasn’t to our standards. To salty, and plain The only thing we liked was the thai tea! We won’t be going back! :(We went because of the reviews. Wasnt worth our $ 25! Had lots of left overs. Guess they threw it away!

Seems like I come here at least once a week with my bf in the morning. Yes, I love Thai food and this place has very good Pad thai noodles and spicy fried rice. I have tried fried shrimp rolls and my bf loves them with the sweet sauce on the table. I would never get sick of eating from here even though I come here every week! Great customer service and ladies who work here are super nice. However, the water taste weird so we always order either soda or thai ice tea.

I order to take out and always get the shrimp rolls with big giant thai ice tea. The area is in the hood and parking is ok, but the rolls make up for it. I had other things on the menu, but not my spot for thai food just shrimp rolls.

Small place, good food. its not the most attractive restaurant but don’t let that stop you from trying their food. My boyfriend takes me here strictly so he can get their fried chicken(which takes a while to cook). Their chow mien and shrimp rolls are also our favs.

This place is by far the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever ate at, great fried chicken, top customer service, very clean and organized. I’m a big fan of their spicy shrimp salad and green curry not to mention their Thai iced coffee. Ta is the waitress during the day and she is phenomenal.

The #1 hole in the wall place. This is like a don’t judge a book by it’s cover type of place. I come here often always delivery but I’ve never had a problem with my order and the food is always prompt in a timely manner. The food is great. The shrimp rolls are delicious. Even the chicken is really good. Also as cheap as it gets, I ordered maybe like 4 – 5 dishes came out to about $ 20. If you want some good Thai Take out this is the spot, not so much if you wanna eat inside if you don’t feel comfortable.

Small quaint place. Not very updated but the service is unbelievably fast. The good is pretty good. The fried shrimp rolls are delicious!!! We had shrimp fried rice, chicken chow mein, beef and broccoli and won ton soup! Everything was yummy and it was pretty inexpensive. A good place to stop by when you’re in the San Fernando area.

I was talking to a friend who knows of my love of food and trying trying new and unusual places. He mentioned a place that he went to many years ago called Wendill’s that had the best chicken ever and wondered if it was still there. I looked it up on Unilocal and told him that it is indeed still there and they now also serve Thai food and both the Thai food and chicken were getting good reviews. I bookmarked Wendill’s and just got the chance to give it a try. I asked my father and nephew if they would like to go, they did so I picked them up and we were on our way. We arrived at 11:00 am and were told to take a seat. We all ordered the same thing, the 4 piece Wendill’s Old Fashion Fried Chicken which comes with a small salad. You can choose either steamed rice or fries as a side dish, we all chose fries. We were told it would take 30 minutes to prepare the chicken, we were not in a hurry so that was fine but if you don’t have the time you can call ahead. We sat next to the window so we had a view of Whiteman Airport while we talked and waited for our fried chicken. 30 minutes later our orders arrived. The chicken was very flavorful, hot, and juicy. The fries were good too. The chicken remained hot from the first piece to the last and we all enjoyed our lunch. Not only is this very good fried chicken it is a great value at only $ 6.25(as of this review). The service and food were good and I would like to return to give the Thai food a try!
