Pleasantly surprised with this little place. First time here– it’s a very small interior and doesn’t look like much but the food was good! Much better than la mordida which is closer to me. We ordered the super burrito with carnitas and the carnitas was cooked to perfection! Also had the nachos– next time we will ask for the nacho toppings with chips on the side as the chips provided were soggy under all the toppings when we got home. The amount of meat on the nachos was also surprising(in a good way) — seemed there was at least double the meat in the nachos vs the super burrito. We did not done in but did carry out and the food was very hot and only had to wait around 10 minutes.

I was brought here by the best friend who raved about the sopa siete mares which is this really rich and flavorful creamy soup chock full of clams, muscles, squid, and fish. It’s soooook damn good. Also split the pescado frito which was a perfectly fried fish served with salad and rice. Also damn good. I can see why my best friend and her family come here two to three times a week.

Long wait times, but sooo worth it for the camarones a la diablo and the sopa siete mares! I also wanted to try their paella too… sadly I saw it on the menu AFTER I had already ordered. Aw well, next time! Oh yeah… and have a sangria while you’re waiting for your food. Helps to pass the time a lot faster ;)

This is one of my favorite spots to go to on the weekends… I’ve been going here for about almost 2 years. The food is great!!! Love it, I usually get a bistek a lo pobre or a ceviche with a large jalea… absolutely fabulous. Recently during my last outing, I noticed that not only was my check wrong it was supposed to be 68 dollars and they put 88 on it… on top of that they had added a 15% tip and it was just me and my girlfriend!!! Unbelievable unacceptable!!! After I ask the waiter to correct my check he has the nerve to remind me how important tipping is… the nerve of him short little chubby Hispanic looking man with a beard I can’t believe it. Food is great, wait time is acceptable I’ve never had a problem here until now. I’m worried about going back l. Food is soo good but I’m worried I might bump into him and he will hold a grudge or maybe mess with my food… Cheers

PRO’s: –Delicious Food –Free chips and salsa CON’s: –Pricey for portions –Slow Service Food Comments: Lomo Saltado– Very tasty and delicious. The rice portion is small for the price. It reminds me of the filipino dish called«beef steak». Rib Eye Steak– Very tasty and delicious. The portion is small for the price. The prices are similar to fancy restaurants. However, I still highly recommend this dish.

What a gem! One of the best Peruvian/Mexican restaurant I’ve been to. Caesar our server was such a sweetheart and one funny man… «thank you Caesar for the awesome costumer service». Food was amazing and service with a smile… Who can beat that? A place I highly recommend. =)
