The banana blueberry walnut pancake was delicious! The Denver omelette was too. Great food. Quiet atmosphere.

Good vides, good service, good food. Who could ask for anything more? Staff very friendly, very attentive. Robby and Steve make you feel at home and want to come back. We ate somewhat late on a Saturday, and waited 10 minutes for a table that turned out to be in the glass enclosed part of the restaurant, with a good view of the beach. As it turned out, the whales were just off the shore, and could see the whales spouting and jumping out of the water. Coffee and water were available while waiting, and coffee was good. Order was promptly taken for Denver omelette and bacon omelette. Both arrived hot, were large, and had ample fillings. Bacon omelette only slight complaint was that if bacon had been on outside, might have been crisper. Denver was two cheeses(jack and cheddar), with thick sliced ham, crisp peppers, and sweet tasting onions. Toast was grilled sourdough that had nice sour, fresh taste. English muffins were crisp, slightly whole wheat sourdough. Fruit instead of potatoes was also good. Definitely a place to come for breakfast.

Fabulous local joint with fantastic service. The owner is super friendly and hilarious. He made sure our huge group of 10 were seated together despite the brunch crowd. He also surprised my birthday friend with a yogurt sundae and a bday serenade. Food is delicious, everything is freshly homemade. Will definitely be back soon for the view and the smiles!

Good food & quick service. The only reason I deducted a star was for the lack of cleanliness. When we first arrived, I had to ask for clean silverware because mine had dried food on it. And the bathrooms were close to horrific. My last complaint was the noise level within the restaurant, but this is difficult to control, I understand. If they could improve these things, this place would get full marks in my book.

Whether it is just my wife & I, the entire family or some combination in between — Breakers is our go to place for breakfast in the area. Food is awesome, portions large and the staff hustles — taking a personal interest in making sure you are well taken care of. If you find yourself in the Pacifica area around breakfast time, Breakers is a must. Don’t let the wait discourage you. There is a reason the folks ahead of you are happy to wait… Breakers is just that good. Steve, Robbie & Co ROCK!

OMG seriously the best carnitas crêpe ever! And everyone has to try the chicken and waffles! They’re bliss. I’m so glad we found this place!

Best breakfast of our weekend trip by far. I ordered banana pancakes with wheat germ and pecans and my girlfriend had huevos rancheros. It was awesome. Loved it. Best breakfast ever. The service was great, very friendly and you can see the ocean from your table.

Ok, this is our new favorite place. We’re going there every weekend now, even though the lines are 20 – 30 min. Its worth the drive for us from Brisbane. I LOVE the chicken fried steak and eggs… OMG, so delicious. And the waffles are fresh and fluffy too. Oh, and the crab panini was amazing… the list goes on. Even the coffee is good! But best of all? The customer service… the guys at the front counter(Steve and Robbie) are the nicest guys ever. And they remember you and make sure you’re treated right. Very cool.
You’ll see us there every weekend… its scrumptious!

You might overlook this brunch spot in Pacifica but you would be remiss if you did. Nestled in between a couple of nondescript hotels, the real treat is it’s located right next to a pathway alongside the soothing and mesmerizing ocean. The Garden Omlette was fresh and hearty. The Crap Crêpe was brimming with fresh crab. The accompanying hash browns and salad added balance and were solid in their own right. Our waitress was eager, friendly, and a little frazzled because the weekend throng of brunch seekers were out in full force on this gorgeous Saturday afternoon. For the sun worshippers who want an extra side of sun, try to get a table along the left wall of windows. There are small cups and complimentary coffee while you wait for a table, which may seem bad but you have one of mother’s nature’s greatest gifts to keep you company.

Yum! Yum! Yum! Eggs Louis is delicious. Nice big chunks of real crab. It’s hard not to order it every time I’m here. Staff are friendly regardless if it’s super busy or not. They take the time to check in with you to make sure your satisfied.

Stopped here on our way from Muir Woods to Monterey as we didn’t want to deal with SF parking. It was very crowded but only had to wait 20 minutes or so even with lots of people waiting outside. Food was fantastic! I had pancakes(they are HUGE, ordered 2 but 1 would have been plenty) and my husband ordered French toast. We also tried the apple compote and it was so tasty. The syrup was brought out hot which was a lovely touch. We shared hash browns and bacon, both were okay but would just stick with pancakes and French toast next time. Great customer service as well. You can tell there are tons of regulars here. When I was paying, the gentleman at the counter was also taking names and calling names for seating. I thanked him even though I assumed he wouldn’t hear me and he thanked me by name from my credit card. I appreciate little things like that very much, especially during a very busy time.

Club sandwich triple decker came with fries and small salad. What a deal. Tons of meat and had to fully open my mouth just to get a full bite. You can’t go wrong here at all. Fries were thin and crunchy just the way I like it. The menu has so many options it could be hard to figure out what to order but I’m sure you’ll be pleased. I need to come back sometime. I grew up out here and it was nice to come back and sit down at a good brunch place after hiking in the mountains. Want water? They will give you your own pitcher so you can refill it when you need to.

Daaaaaaaamn Pacifica, back at it again with the hidden gems! XP seriously though. I’ve had this placed bookmarked for a while and finally got to try it on a beautiful Saturday morning. I ordered the Meaty Omelette. It comes topped with cheese, served with hashbrowns AND your choice of bread(sourdough, wheat, rye, raisin, English muffin, or bagel). And the omelette itself was STUFFED! I couldn’t even finish it, which is somewhat upsetting because it was so good. Actually, it may only be upsetting because warming up omelettes afterwards usually doesn’t work out too well, so I wasn’t able to finish it later. My boyfriend got the Monte Cristo. THAT was delicious as well. Unfortunately, the syrup that they had was too watery, so you couldn’t get a nice thick drizzle of syrup over the sandwich. But it’s still good. Basically, you’re really getting your moneys worth because their portions are pretty big. The food is amazingly delicious. The service is smiles and top-notch. After your meal, you can also walk it off on the beach down the street. It’s a nice weekend morning type of thing to do.

Hubby and I wanted to celebrate his birthday with a nice Pacifica trail hike. We started the hike with brunch here… oh and it was Delicious. Host was nice, they offered us free coffee and/or water while we waited to be seated… about 20 minutes . Being steps away from the beach, this place is a gem. I ordered some omlette with bacon and avocado; great! Hubby ordered a plate with eggs and bacon and toast, he loved it. Only thing I was bummed about is that we didn’t try their bacon waffles, they looked yummy. Overall awesome place for brunch & lunch. I also saw a sign they have dinner on selected days… can’t wait to visit for dinner soon.

Wow, what an unexpected find in an area I thought I had thoroughly checked out in the past. Breakers is located right next to the ocean’s edge which makes for a nice after brunch stroll or before stroll if you’re here on a weekend and the wait would surely be not a short one. The crab crêpe was overflowing with fresh crab. It was very yummy and also a great value. Our waitress was very friendly and in general service was good considering how much of an animal house this place becomes during weekend brunch hours. Like many brunch places, there is free coffee by the front door, which is a wonderful touch. All in all, I look forward to coming back here when I’m in the area. The surrounding area really makes for a nice after meal walk.

Solid breakfast place and no wait before 10am. Scoreee. They have so much on the menu and I had no idea what to choose. I was convinced by a friend to get the club sandwich. Man this sandwich is so simple but at the restaurant it is always so much more bomb. This thing is huge and I only finished half of it. I opted for fruit instead of fries. If you have a dish with hash brows, ask for extra crispy or else they come out not as crispy as you want.

Not a lot of breakfast options between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay. This place was at the end of the road on the right side facing the ocean. My friend and I got the crab cake eggs benedict and a stack of blueberry pancakes. The english muffin was very hard, the crab cake must have made a while back with not too much flavor in it. The blueberry pancakes were huge but I think Aunt Jemima and Bisquick would be a better choice.

California Trip #9 I had bookmarked Breakers Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch(BBBL) even before I knew it was located right next to my hotel. For my last full day in California, I walked over for some brekkie. The interior is small, and nothing special, but a table with an ocean view received a gold star from me. I ordered some water and coffee to start. I was given a pitcher of ice water and a carafe of coffee. Usually, I would have been ecstatic, as I and my boys go through a lot of water. But, since I was all alone, and knowing about the drought in California, I was a bit troubled by the wasted water – and the same for the coffee. I think the idea of a pitcher and carafe would be wonderful for a full table of customers, but not so much for one person. BBBL has a large menu, and it was difficult to choose. When I saw the hot links, I decided to try that in an omelet since I’d heard about it before, and we don’t have it in Virginia. It also came with home fries and toast – of course, I had to pick sourdough! I was happy with the service, good food, and a great view. I would love to check out more items from their menu. Maybe next time… Tip: Make sure you ask for the specials. I didn’t see the sign until I was leaving. They had Pumpkin Pancakes that day. Bummer. :(

Super Super disappointed. I really wanted to like this place. My friend told me about it as she apparently knows the owner so I was all about supporting a small business! My husband and I came in on a somewhat rainy day so it wasn’t very crowded but there was still a good amount of people. We were seated right away at one of the better tables so that was nice. It didn’t take long for us to look at the menu and figure out what we wanted. I am always weary when a waitress takes your order without writing it down. Usually something always goes wrong, no matter where you are! Anywho, she took our order… and then came the waiting. So. Much. Waiting. Which didn’t make a whole lot of sense to us since it wasn’t crowded. About 15 min later she finally told us it would be just another minute. I mean, how long does it take to scramble some eggs? We came to the conclusion that she forgot to put our order in, One of the consequences from not writing down our order I presume. A man had come in 10 min after us, ordered and got his meal before we got ours. Pretty sucky. When it finally came we were starving and it was just so bland and average. Not worth the price. Also, they were extremely skimpy on my husband’s hash browns. We got a look at some other people’s plates and they have plentiful portions so we were confused at why his was so small. So, overall… extremely average. I will go elsewhere for breakfast/brunch in the future.

Came in on a Sunday at noon(prime brunch hour, lol) and checked in with the host(such a nice guy), who told me it’ll be a 15 minute wait. The wait wasn’t too long, and was definitely not bad considering the fact that the beach is just right next to the restaurant. Plus they give you complimentary coffee too while you’re waiting. Not a bad wait at all :) When our name was called, I was super excited to eat because the food looked great, and those pictures I’ve been browsing on Unilocal looked pretty bomb. I ordered the Egg Louis Benedict, and my boyfriend ordered a Meatlover’s Omlet. The food is definitely perfect/A1/amazing/spectacular– especially for the price you pay because. who gets crab breakfast dishes for $ 13? However, the service was just ridiculous. I think we waited for our food for about 30+ mins. You know that feeling you get when you think you see your food in your waitress’s hands go close to you, then directly to someone else? I had that feeling happen about seven times. Even the people who got seated after us finished their food and paid right when we got our orders. The waitress or the chef forgot the extra side of avocado we asked for, and we didn’t get it until we flagged the waitress down to mention it. Not only that, we were charged for«extra sour cream» that we didn’t order. Lol wut. The service is really inconsistent. But at least the food is good?
