PM is one of the few bright spots in the Palisades. It sucks for them that a huge tree blocks their signage but since there’s no real competition I guess it doesn’t matter. I’m not a huge sweets person but seriously, if you walk in here and look at the gelato, you’re gonna buy something. I’ve only tried the coffee and the cookies & cappucino flavors and they’re both pretty good. Around $ 5 a cup, it’s definitely worth a try. The fro-yo isn’t bad either but they skimp on the fruit toppings.

yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum YUM !!! Holy pistachio, Batman, I had no idea this place was so good or I would have been in here long ago! I spotted a Unilocal decal in the window today, as I was walking by. I never pass up a place that has Unilocal in the window. See my photos, I took a dozen! First they wow you with eye candy: The colorful flavors in the cases are very attractively displayed, garnished with fancy-cut fresh fruit. Prices are not nearly as high as other gelato spots I’ve been. A medium size that turned out to be too much, it was so rich, cost only $ 4.50. Small was a dollar less. (Service could have been a lot friendlier, btw, but whatev…) I got half pistachio & half wild cherry, a great combo! It was so creamy delish and bursting with flavor that it turned out to be the highlight of my whole afternoon, seriously. And the day had been pretty damn good… As I enjoyed my treat, I read the nutrition info pamphlet, preparing to be bummed out over the calorie count. But no… turns out this Italian ice cream has significantly fewer carbs & calories, less sugar, and less fat than typical ice cream. And it has no chemical preservatives like regular ice cream. It’s made fresh daily on site! Crikey, this seemed like a miracle. I sat on their peaceful outdoor patio under a clear blue November sky feeling like I just discovered the pot ‘o gold at the end of the rainbow. Or maybe something even better…

Great selection of freshly-made flavors that can be mixed and matched. The pricing is a little more than what I want to pay for a little cup of gelato. They have couches that are inviting until you see the unbelievable amount of stain on them. Two words: Stain Remover. Also, Pali kids that frequent the little shop can get on your nerves. I know, I know… I used to be like that but still. They can get loud and obnoxious with little regard to other patrons.

I checked this spot out few weeks ago when I went to visit LA and man, this place brought back memories of Italy. They make the gelatos fresh daily and it sure shows via taste. All the sorbeto(fruit gelato) are made w/fresh fruits and they are so yummy. Pacific Palisades is a hidden gem. It’s only minutes away from Santa Monice and it’s an awesome place take your loved ones and hang out. Must go and try out the gelato, all that pink berry hype is only a fad, this is the real deal. did i mention that gelato is creamier than ice cream, yet have the calories/fat that of yogurt? something to consider… oh, BTW, i heard that Piccomolo will be opening another store in Old Town Pasadena on 4÷28÷07. go check it out.

The best gelato you’ll ever have! Over 32 flavors to choose from. Made fresh everyday. I’ve tried a lot of gelato in my day but this joint was like, «WOW!» It’s located in beautiful Pacific Palisades so if you’re ever at the beach, the Santa Monica pier, or the 3rd Street Promenade and craving some high quality gelato, check this place out. It’s a great date place, open till 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
