:(As much as I love the original location, this location did not do me any justice. I ordered a milkshake and the lady made it very watery! :( Sincerely, Regular customer

One of the best ice cream shops in LA. So fresh, flavorful and decadent. I highly recommend the Salted Caramel and the Strawberry flavors. You won’t be disappointed!

So good, love the Brentwood location and now to have one in the palisades, well I’m one happy ice cream boy! I recommend the mint chip or maybe checking out the daily seasonal flavors. The ice cream is organic, kosher, and GMO free, another plus! The staff is very nice and helpful and they keep that store in tip top shape. Well done sweet rose. I will definitely be coming back.

I am so glad Sweet Rose Creamery has expanded to a second location which is just as cute and amazingly good as the first! The quality here is top notch, I don’t know how they do it, but not only is it organic and all natural, but the flavors are always spot on. They offer a good variety of unique as well as every day flavors and I have yet to try something I did not love. Service is super nice and patient. Splurge on the waffle cone, it is made fresh and oh so good, worth the extra dollar and calories for sure! One of my favorite places to get ice cream, prices and portion sizes are fair as well.

Yummy ice cream just like all the other locations. Mint chip is my favorite-tastes just like real fresh mint. The décor at this location is also really cute.

Today I went to Sweet Rose to try their LA renowned mint chocolate iced cream. Despite the extensive list of unique and delicious ice creams available at the sweet rose creamery, a seemingly standard flavor spoke to me today. Once I tasted it though, I knew why. When I think of flavors like this, the word game changer comes to mind. Most mint chocolate chip flavors emit near identical tastes, with degrees of purity in between higher and lower quality mint chocolate chips. Usually this flavor consists of a creamy mint flavor and a high grade snap from the chocolate chips. At Sweet Rose, there are no chips, just pure cream that emits both mint and chocolate flavors. Within the mint though lies the secret to this amazing flavor. Unlike regular mint flavors, this one tastes like an actual mint leaf. As a result, it’s refreshing taste blows me away, and suddenly I’m transported to a snowy mountain in the winter. Suddenly, the air feels crisper, my cheeks are more sensitive to the cool breeze around me, and this mint chocolate combination makes me believe I must be in some sort of ice breakers commercial that also utilizes chocolate. Even though I somewhat miss the snap of the chocolate chips, I highly enjoyed this flavor and would rank it in the top 3 best mint chocolate chips I’ve ever had.

Yummmmmmmm! So good and creamy. Love the Rocky Road but if you have never been I highly suggest at least sampling the salted caramel. They let you sample like 2 – 3 if the line isn’t too deep. It is worth the extra $ 1 for the cone too. The scoops are kinda smallish so that is why there are only 4 stars and not 5. Decent service. Oh my gosh I almost forgot. So, here we are, me and the kids with lots of local younger kids all around and all I hear is Marvin Gaye over the stereo system singing Sexual Healing. Uh… not appropriate people. Definitely need someone monitoring that. Obviously there has already been too much sex with all those kids running around-hahahahha

Another Sweet Rose Creamery has debuted! Located in the Palisades, this shop lacks the cuteness of the original Farmers Market location but it does offer the same quality organic ice cream and toppings and without the line. I was disappointed in their flavors on Saturday night, opening weekend. It was mostly the classics. I am going to admit, their ice creams are not my favorite but I do absolutely love their ice cream sandwiches. They often have seasonal flavors like corn and they are in the best cookie sandwich imaginable. Eating these makes me feel like a kid again!
