Krystal

I’ve always had a good experience at Krystal restaurants and this one is no exception. I ONLY get wings, fries, and an icee so I can’t say much for the rest of their menu. The wings are amazing though. Best around! The staff has always been kind and accommodating every time I have gone (&I usually go at least once a week). Highly recommend if you’re looking for some juicy, crunchy wings to snack on!

Zero stars is what they should get. We waited in the drive through line behind cars and when we made it to the order speaker, no one took our order. We sat there for about five more minutes, then just went inside to order. Terrible service.

Let me be frank, this is not a good place to eat. After discovering that their soda pop machine did not have Mountain Dew, I also discovered their burgers were small. Like very small. The meat was poor, onions tasteless, bread mediocre, and the fries were soggie. I fed my dog saul my leftovers and he threw up in my bed and started chewing up my history book. He is an asshole so I guess I can’t fault the restaurant for that. I just feel bad for writing this review. It was not good and the atmosphere sucked. Very cheap I will say. Also the Parking lot was confusing. It’s not like I was having a bad day I just was having a bad experience. We should put Krystal to good cause and have them make food for starving drunk kids on 18^th street. Lobby for a local govt. subsidy and help these poor alcoholic students be fed. It’s the only way I see Krystal becoming an integral and sustaining part of our community in Oxford.
Good things some times take time to grow and for that I give Krystal 2 stars.
P. s. Get a damn Mountain Dew machine

To start with, this is a brand new location. I was willing to give some leeway but my experience was really bad. My total drive through wait time was 53 minutes. No, I am not joking. Once you turn the corner you can’t change your mind and drive away.
I watched through the window and they were getting a lot of orders wrong, as people were parking and walking in. They were swamped, it’s new and everybody wants to try them. The back door opened and a worker went to go get napkins from the storage and I could see them putting together Krystals on every flat surface available, even what looked like the managers desk.
My burgers were thrown together but boxed neatly. There should be some kind of way that they could keep the grease from being so heavy on the burger, by the time we got home the bread was saturated in grease.
Before anyone says I’m being unfair, I remember when this chain was in Oxford the first time. It appears they won’t be around long this time either, unless they correct these issues.
I seriously doubt we go back.
