In my past experience with banking institutions, there really has been no «good» to speak of, only degrees of bad. As such, my opinion of bankers over the course of the last several years has made them rank right up there with lawyers and politicians as people who I generally despise. I used to bank at Commerce Bank before I moved to Oshkosh, but after finding out US Bank was just about the only bank with national representation across North America, I decided to open up an account there. In all honestly, the US bank locations bank in Kansas City where I am from were just as bad as my experiences with Commerce Bank. It just goes to show you that the particular branch you happen to bank at makes all the difference in the world as the folks at the Main Street, Oshkosh location have been fantastic in taking care of my banking needs. Most of the staff knows me on a first name basis and have always been willing to go the extra mile to make sure I am taken care of. Finding a good bank is about like finding a good automotive mechanic in that once you have found one you can trust you stick with them. These folks have earned my business.
