Lasure’s Hall Banquets & Catering

I would actually rate this place 3.5 if we were allowed half stars. I came to this banquet facility for a Habitat for Humanity fundraiser, and while more than adequate for this purpose, it was not particularly outstanding as to stand out in my mind from other such facilities I have visited in the past.
The service was one area that was a cut above the norm. At most banquets, you are really lucky to get your water filled once, and mine was never empty the whole time I was there.
Banquet Hall food is rarely outstanding, as quantity nearly always trumps quality, and that holds true in this instance as well. The food was plenty hot, but the chicken dish and vegetables were both incredibly bland. I virtually never salt anything, but with this food I was using the salt and pepper shakers like a crop duster.
The Hall was plenty big enough for our purposes on the night in question, but I would estimate maximum capacity in the 200 range tops. I would factor this into the decision making process if you are trying to plan an event, as much more than 150 and your guests would be crammed in here like sardines.

Top quality food. Homemade pastries. Always so friendly and easy to work with. Everyone looks forward to this local icon during Airventure week. Bear claws, Napoleons, Danish. Yum

We used Lasure’s for the catering of a memorial service. The delivery was right on time and the food was top shelf. Outstanding all around.
