Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel and Convention Center

We chose to stay at the Best Western Premier following a mishap at another hotel we had originally booked for the night. Boy, was I glad we did! The Best Western Premier was one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. We had a high-​floor king suite with a jacuzzi and fireplace. Our room overlooked the water, so it was fun to look out over the city all night. There are tons of windows to look out of, too. The bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is elegant, and the jacuzzi is huge! The only minor complaint I could offer is a wet floor after showers because the shower design is open, with only a glass plate covering half the area. Very minor quibble, though.
We enjoyed having a refrigerator in the room, and plenty of desk space to work. There was plenty of space everywhere in the room. The fitness room is spacious with lots of exercise equipment to use. Parking was a breeze with a covered garage right next to the hotel. The staff were wonderful all throughout our stay.
There is a restaurant called the Ground Round also built into the hotel, which looked nice, but we ended up ordering pizza from a place down the road, (which was great by the way, but that’s another review).
Can’t recommend this hotel enough. More than 5 stars if I could do it.

Very nicely appointed room, friendly front desk staff and adjacent to a Ground Round. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and events in the center court of the formal Park Plaza.

Nice hotel for the price. Close to the highway and downtown. Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Definitely would use this place again if I was in the area.

Hotel is great especially the front desk ladies but management and bartender «Chris» needs to be fired. A lady who harassed, hit, pushed, swore and gave obscene gestures was defended in this establishment. The police should have been called and she should have been removed instead the bartender «Chris» told everyone over the loud speaker to leave her alone… she should have been asked to leave at the very minimum. We asked the front desk to pull the camera footage but was told the cameras didn’t show that particular area. Very disappointed in the way this was handled. I have spent the last two summers spending weekends at this hotel but will look else where I do not feel safe staying at an establishment that will not handle a matter in the proper way. This lady should have been removed from here at the very least. She could’ve been thrown in jail for her aggressive behaviors and would have been any where else !

I stayed here last week on the 8^th floor with water view. I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is beautiful. There is a bar/​restaurant inside, as well as a pool, parking garage, lounge type area in front with computers & coffee.
The weirdest thing were the pillows on the bed. They were these small, square pillows. Not used to that, but still decent to sleep on.
Make sure you get a room with water view. It’s really nice at all times of the day.
The staff is super accomodating & make sure you are taken care of & comfortable.
Also, there are a ton of cute shops, restaurants, cafes, a library, festivals, live music, & things to do all around & on Main Street.
It’s located right next to the convention center.

I was in town for a sporting event this last week and stayed here for an evening. Great location and really nice hotel. Customer service is where they really came through, though. My son accompanied me on this trip and ended up leaving a prized possession in the room. I contacted the hotel manager who worked with Housekeeping to retrieve the item and get it sent back to me. Not a high dollar item, but very sentimental in value and I appreciate their great service.
Rooms were very clean, bed comfortable and restaurant on site was reasonably priced with good food.

Booked the Best Western Waterfront for a quick business trip to OshKosh, Wisconsin and was extremely impressed. Not only is the hotel really lovely, well designed, and newly updated, but the staff went over and above as well. I had accidentally booked two rooms for the wrong date, no showed, and had no idea at check in time. The front desk agent kindly re-​booked our rooms and offered to follow up and get a refund for my mistake. By the time I was done checking in, the Manager on Duty had already taken care of refunding my no-​show and we were set to go! Such stellar customer service is really hard to come by these days and I am rarely this impressed! Thank you SO much Best Western Premier :) I will definitely be back again in the future!

Stayed there in June 2013. Very nice. Very capable and friendly staff. Clean, comfortable, good restaurant attached. Right on the river. Walkway access to the convention center.

No longer a Hilton. See listing for Best Western at this same location. Hotel now owned by the University of Wisconsin. Anyone who stayed at this location before May 2013 stayed at the prior remodeled hotel owned by someone else. This is a new hotel.
