This is by far one of the worst holiday inns I ever stayed at! The facility is in need of some major renovation, the room I had wreaked off mold smell, the windows had dead bugs all over them and the carpet was wet! Either from the condensation from the air conditioner or maybe the carpets were cleaned earlier. Breakfast was standard, the only plus here is that the front desk lady was very nice. I’m glad my company is paying for this or else I wouldn’tve stayed!

Full disclosure: I received a travel agent discount for my stay here. Overall our stay was a mixed bag, but I would stay here again, if only for the reason that they take pets(no extra charge, but they prefer that you not leave them in the room unattended). The double shower heads were great — but there was a definite lack of hot water. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet engine, so no turning on that light in the middle of the night! The bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi was good enough to allow streaming video, but despite the button on the heater that said«constant fan,» no constant fan seemed to be working. Also, the front doors are not automatic(and stick against the ground, making them difficult to open), and when I pressed the handicapped button while trying to bring in a luggage cart, it didn’t work. I ended up getting in only with the assistance of another guest. We had a whirlpool room, and while the jets worked fine, a light bulb over the tub was burned out, and I honestly couldn’t be bothered to call someone to fix it. I enjoyed sitting by the lobby fireplace when I couldn’t sleep, but found it curious that the«We’re helping another guest, be right back» sign was displayed at the front desk for over an hour in the dead of the night, despite having been assured at check-in that the desk was staffed 24⁄7. Was I blown away? No. Did I run away screaming? No. It was perfectly decent, if not particularly special, and if I was traveling with our dog again, I would definitely stay here.

We stayed here the night before our Green Bay Packers game. We traveled from Portland Oregon and chose this place for the reviews. It was pretty good. Rooms are old and dated but it was very clean. They offered free drinks for guest which was a plus! The staff was very friendly. We would stay there again for sure Only Con. The cleaners they use in the common areas(lobby and Elevator) was so strong, I literally could taste in my mouth. The elevator smell of cleaner gave me a instant headache. the room DIDNOT smell though so everything was good.

Typical run of the mill Holiday Inn Express. The beds are comfy and the Wi-Fi actually works. Staff are friendly too. I discovered the last day I was there that they had complementary drinks at night. Too bad no one at the front desk told me when I checked in, I would’ve taken advantage of it. There are a lot of chain restaurants nearby, along with a grocery store, and Wal-Mart. Downtown Oshkosh is ten minute drive away. My biggest annoyance was the gym, which consisted of a few machines, none of which worked properly. I must be the only one that cares about staying fit on the road.

The bed? Like sleeping on a cloud. The people I traveled with said the same. Clean room, easy to operate climate controls, huge bathroom with an excellent shower(huge head, great pressure). This place was also unbelievably quiet. Which was unbelievable: the hotel seemed quite full and my room was almost opposite the elevators. It’s possible that all of the guests were just super polite, maybe? Other niceties: free WiFi, free breakfast, free drinks in the pre-vening(Thank you, Dr. Sheldon Cooper/writers for The Big Bang Theory). The lobby was nice looking and modern, and the hotel is very convenient to the highway. There are many run-of-the-mill shops in the strip mall(s) and restaurants nearby from quickie Jimmy John’s to an Italian restaurant(think pizza from a brick/wood-burning oven) that’s right next door. It’s hard to complain about free breakfast, but I have some dietary quirks, and I think they were out of the usual protein foods I go for when I went down for breakfast. Overall, my stay was excellent.

Free WiFi! Soft, comfy beds! Whirlpool bath, double shower heads, complimentary drinks, free breakfast. I’m pleased as punch! Edit: I had to remove one star because breakfast isn’t that great. The cinammon rolls are yummy, but the eggs, sausage, bisquits, etc are all microwaved and not very good.
