Little Italy Pizza & Pasta

This place is the best! We stayed in Daytona Beach for a conference and did not like anything there. We found this place on Unilocal and ended up driving out there twice. So worth it! The food is unbelievably good. Everything is made fresh there. The bread is some of the best bread we’ve ever had. It is so perfectly fluffy and crispy and fresh. The staff is so great, too! Our waiter was very friendly and extremely entertaining. If we ever visit the Daytona area again, we will definitely be back!

I went to dinner with family at Little Italy two nights ago. I’m down in Florida visiting since just about all of my family is out here, and they’ve taken me to quite a number of restaurants now. My great aunt said that she was very fond of this particular restaurant, so about twelve of us went out to dinner here. We have a pretty big family, so it can be a little difficult to accommodate so many with seating sometimes. The staff was very helpful, and put together quite a few tables and chairs in the center of the restaurant so we could all sit together.
The restaurant itself is a very casual environment, and not very spacious. Though, it may have felt that way since there are so many of us. I think if it’s just families of four, or couples it probably doesn’t feel as crowded. They kept it clean, and organized.
In terms of service, our server was very attentive to the twelve of us. My cousin goes through his soda within moments, and so she managed to keep his glass full which in itself can be a lot! All of our orders were taken quickly, and she was very organized about distributing the food when it was ready as well. All substitutions, and requests were met. No issues with the food. It was ready relatively quick as well. I had the cheese ravioli with marinara sauce and it was very scrumptious. The raviolis were stuffed, and not gimped on cheese. The sauce was thick, and rich. I was pretty stuffed. A few of us opted for the tiramisu and coffee afterwards. The cream of the tiramisu was delightful, and overall it was a great treat. The coffee was a little bland, I used about 3 creams and four sugars and it still wasn’t that wonderful. Not sure why. But it was okay.
Overall, great place to go for dinner! Quality food at moderate pricing.

Let me tel you folks if you go anywhere else you will not find the food like you will find in a taste of Italy. Luigi makes all orders to suit your taste and man this it taste good !!! everything on the menu is top of the line and when you go say hello to Mario the Big man in the place !!! It will be worth your while and you while and you will enjoy Buona appetito !!! yes excellent eating !!!

Great food, great people, awesome atmosphere.

After 2 years figured we’d try this place again. WRONG DECISION!!! Ordered 2 med cheese pizzas for delivery at 5:30. Told would be 60 minutes, «maybe less». 2 ½ hours later the babysitter calls to tell us how hungry she and the kids are as no pizza yet. SERIOUSLY!!! Called to find out the deal. Told «don’t know what happened but what can I get you?» I responded that pizza we ordered 2 ½ hours ago would’ve been nice. Then told the delivery guy «just left». Guess the delivery guy will be going back to the shop with 2 ice cold pizzas. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

What a cute guy that greets you at the door! Every Time we’re here he is always up and happy. To day the word for the day is AWESOME! everything is awesome!
The food here is excellent and the restaurant is a wonderful part of Ormond Beach!

OMG Amazing. Here with family 7 of us Pizza salad cheese bread and we haven’t eaten the main course yet and delish!

This is a great restaurant. The food is always fantastic. The service isn’t great though, there are always different waiters and there is always one waiter for the whole restaurant, I think it is understaffed

I rarely give 5 stars, but as a former NY’er I understand how important pizza is to all of us who have moved away from NY. So, this review is for you guys.
Luigi, the owner of Little Italy Pasta and Pizza, has a following of over 8 years that began in Plantation Bay, moved to Holly Hill and now to Ormond Beach. His customer base is intensely loyal and with good reason — he is an excellent cook and makes a really terrific pizza as well as some of the best basic red sauce Italian dishes you’ll eat any place… His prices are very fair and his portions very large.
This is a family run operation. Patience is called for. He’s a real character; he has his days. Everything is made to order. Everything is served fresh and hot. His manicotti is one of the best versions I’ve ever had anywhere. For those of you from Bay Ridge, Green Pointe, Little Italy, Cliffside Park, etc. this little place is going to bring back some good memories.

Love this place. Go for the meat lovers pizza. It might give you a heart attack but it’s sure worth every last bite.

Super lunch specials! you will have a hard time finding a better slice of pizza in the daytona area!

First pizza we had when we moved here and I can honestly say it has not let us down yet! Do yourself a favor and get a pie!

Fantastic pizza at very reasonable prices. Salads are large and fresh; the Italian comes with fresh grilled chicken. A family favorite.

Probably the BEST pizza I’ve had in the Daytona Beach/​Ormond Beach Area. Reminds me of the pizza in New York… and this coming from a New Yorker.

What a difference fresh makes. I ordered a pizza to go. They were really busy so I had a little wait, but I got my pie straight out of the oven. It was really yummy. If I was searching for a complaint, I would have liked a little less grease. (still awesome). As a former server, I could see how green the staff was, so you might have a bit of a wait. Only real complaint is I still only saw one highchair.
