Wow! My wife and I had $ 7.99 dinner specials — lasagna for me, and eggplant Parmesan for her. Both were excellent and huge portions. Good service on a rainy night on vacation at Ormond Beach.

I ordered delivery from here from Eat 24. Based off the three star rating I was hesitant to order and I didn’t expect much. But holy cow! It was delicious! The marinara OMG definitely tasted like it was homemade from an old family recipe. Bruschetta with chicken, while also a little different because it was mostly chicken and tomatoes on thick slices of bread, was also delicious. It comes drizzled with a delicious balsamic glaze. The soup of the day, I have no idea what it was, was also fantastic. This place was so good I ordered again on my second trip to Ormond Beach. You get a ton of good quality food too for the price.

I don’t know what that one person was talking, but this place was rocking. I had an amazing server, took care of us, was timely, food was great! Talk about GARLIC knots! Fresh crushed/minced garlic, strong great flavor. The house Italian vinaigrette was super lip puckering! True sliced sausage on the pizza, thin, crisp. NEWYORKSTYLE! Great place, family oriented, awesome food, CLEAN! Highly recommended

We visit Ormond Beach for Biggby Coffee. Today we tried this Italian shop and it was delicious. Medium Cheese Calzone was awesome. Cheese was perfect, crust was crisp and tasty. Enough for two. Children had cheese pizza and spaghetti and were content. Will return on our next Biggby run.

Does anyone know what happened to this restaurant? It’s so sad. My wife and I have been enjoying their food at least twice a week for over a year. Weather it be dining in, take out, or delivery. The pizza, in my opinion is about the best around. Great Caesar salad. And the saltimbocca chicken was something I had to have at least once a month. same with the lasagna. But. the last 3 times have been a huge disappointment. 1st bad experience. totally screwed up my order, couldn’t eat it. 40 bucks with tip. 2nd time. no biggie, asked for no peppers in my stromboly, add bacon. Nope, got peppers, no bacon. 3rd and last time, thru said 45 min. After 1 hour and 15 min, they said they had just left, after 2 hours, said they were just leaving. I cancelled, they said that they would credit my card. Never did. Out another 30 bucks. Sucks, because I really enjoyed there food and employees. Oh well, guess I’ll call luigies.

I’m glad I didn’t read all of the recent reviews first, they all seem to be quite negative. My wife and I stopped in for the first time last night(a Monday) and had a very pleasant experience. Our server, Sabrina, was very polite and attentive. When we mentioned that it was our first time, she said«oh, you’re in for a treat!» — and she was right. My wife ordered a «medium» ham & spinach Calzone. When they brought it out on a 10 – 12 inch square plate, both ends were hanging over the sides — this thing was a MONSTER! She will likely get 4 – 5 meals out of it. I had the Chicken Parmigiana and angel-hair pasta. Normally priced at $ 13.95, last night it happened to be one of the many Daily Specials at only $ 7.99. While not jaw-dropping like the Calzone, the portions were very large and I will get two meals out of it. The meals also came with bread and a large salad. I ordered a draft beer($ 2.50) and it was served in a very tall glass(at least 16 oz). With my first sip I noticed that the ‘glass’ was actually plastic. I asked Sabrina if they had any glass mugs available, and she quickly brought one out — filled to the top! I drank from that and then refilled from my plastic ‘glass’. I saw quite a few other reviewers mention the lack of cleanliness. My wife and I are usually pretty quick to spot things like that, and nothing really caught our eye, so maybe they have cleaned up recently. We plan to go back again soon.

Go somewhere else. Took us 40 minutes to get plain spaghetti when the 3 of us and one other couple were the only other people in the establishment on a Saturday night. It was pretty dirty in there as well. They seemed to be having drama between the staff because there was some yelling at each other going on. Hopefully they can get back to how they were when they first opened.

Where to start? Dirty, slow, rude, and gross. Those are the first words that come to mind. Even the server agreed that this place sucks. The cook/manager/owner(guy with the Hitler haircut) took 45 minutes to send out my husband’s pasta with no one else in the restaurant. I had finished my salad way before he got his food. Our server says it’s like that all the time. I finally went back and asked him what was taking so long. He didn’t even apologize. Never again. And seriously, if the owner is reading this, here’s a personal message: «You have failed. Sell before you go bankrupt. Maybe gravedigging is for you, maybe not, but you do NOT belong in the restaurant business!»

I first discovered this place about 2 years ago. At first it was good — nice place and really friendly staff. But lately it has just gone down hill. First the turn-over in staff makes me question what is going on here. And what staff they do have left is really untrained. Two recent examples: 1) we asked for a glass of Chianti and we get a white wine. 2) we order the bread sticks(I think they call them garlic knots); somehow they screwed up one of the sticks(either they dropped it or burned it, I don’t know). But instead of holding the order while they make a new one they serve the incomplete order and then bring out the one bread stick later. Strange. And the kicker, in the restaurant the lock on the bathroom door is broken. Instead of fixing it(it’s what, $ 20 bucks for a new handle at Home Depot) they tape a sign to the door that says«Knock before entering». And then, the staff does not even bother to knock — one barged right in on me! WTF… Another reviewer mentioned the cleanliness(or lack there of) — I’ve got to agree, place is in dire need of janitorial serve. Quality of the food has suffered. We took the pizza & salad togo(we only ate the bread sticks & wine in the restaurant). After getting home we ended up throwing away half the salad and three-fourths of the pizza. It was so bad that I opted to eat chips vs the pizza! And the wine in the restaurant — my best guess is it was watered down. I don’t know, it was just not right. Wish we had gone to Lennys down the street…

Pizza was decent. Spaghetti and meatballs were half Cooked then microwaved… The main issue is the cleanliness of the restaurant. From the bathroom to the lobby. it’s scary. One can only imagine what the back looks like.

Terrible customer service! Placed an order for delivery, was told it would be 45 minutes«at the latest», 1 hour later I call for a status and they say the driver left 10 minutes ago(I am 5 minutes from their store). Another 10 minutes I call back and the«manager» says that the driver is on his way and argues that«Ormond Lakes is far away». I tell her I don’t live in Ormond Lakes and give her my address to which she says the driver had to return because the pizza overturned in his car. What a joke, I didn’t order pizza. A courtesy call would have went a long way! Needless to say, I’m done with this place. Sad because the food is normally good.

Good food.but.terrible experience. Waited 30min for salad, salad was Greek salad and missing all meat! We asked the waitress and she just said sorry and would take 10% off and then forgot at the end. We ordered a panini that kept getting forgot and then an hour later waitress was finally clearing table, we asked about it and then 20 min later got it! We had already been there well over an hour and only one other table was in the restaurant! We had to keep asking the staff for to go box and then finally got it. No discounts, nothing but a sorry and avoidance from the rest of the staff.

My family has only ordered food for take out, but we haven’t been disappointed. The Stromboli is delicious, the baked ziti is divine and the pizza is a regular around this house. Ask about the Mama Mia’s special!

Waited 40 minutes for a burnt pie which had wrong toppings. Extremely nasty waitress. To top is off a piece of cord or plastic in cheese. Avoid this place

That sausage, green pepper, & onion pizza was simply delish! The peppers were a nice mix of thinly sliced red and green sweet peppers. The onions were nicely julienned and slightly carmelized, which brought out their innate sweetness and the italian sausage was so tasty and completely ground and crumbled. None of those nasty, greasy sausage-like nuggets– like the ones on the pizzas from Pizza Hut. The whole combination made for an extremely tasty pizza. This small pizza, with six slices. cost approximately $ 17.50. It certainly isn’t cheap. By the way, the large pizza has 8 slices. I phoned my order in and was told that the pizza would be ready in 20 – 25 minutes. The truth is that it took 50 – 60 minutes. They only had one, lone pizza guy working feverishly, trying to keep up with the phone orders and restaurant orders. I could see that he was swamped. There were other cooks in the back preparing entrees and such, but just one person manning the pizza oven. I think I would ask for extra cheese next time. I would definitely order a take out Pizza from here again. Don’t expect sweet southern-style, charming, friendly customer service. It’s New York style all the way, baby. Don’t take it personally! Don’t come to be babied, come for a great pizza!

We love this place, today we decided to dine in, the place was packed. We ordered two large pizzas, some garlic knots, and greek salad. I highly recommend the white pizza,(with tomatoes and broccoli) my personal favorite!

Sorry folks but my last two visits have been disappointing, especially when you find hairs in your pizza. I’m serious! You’d think that management would come to speak with you but after waiting more than five minutes only the server returned to say sorry. And the pizza wasn’t that great, lacks sauce and cheese.

Love their pizza. This is the third time we ate here and have always been pleased with the food and service. We get the 18 inch with sausage, mushrooms and tomatoes. Yummy!
