We are locals and wait until off season for our visits here. Everything is delicious, breakfast or lunch. If I were on death row I would order the granola pancakes as my last meal. Service is outstanding no matter how busy.

Latte was luke warm. Eggs on a biscuit were smothered in flavorless gravy. Waiter tried hard to provide good customer service but it was a miss all around.

Pretty good little place! The outside of it is deceiving because it’s actually a pretty big place with a lot of seating. They have a cute little breakfast counter downstairs or tables to sit at. They have an extensive menu with a lot of different breakfast options. I got blueberry pancakes and the chicken Apple sausage. The pancakes were crispy outside and fluffy inside and the blueberries seemed fresh. The chicken Apple sausage was great. They split it down the middle and cook it on the flat top so it’s nice and crispy outside and tender inside. My mom got the Benedict and said it was also very fresh and tasty. My only complaint is that you don’t receive fresh cream with your coffee, you have to keep asking for the creams in the little plastic containers. I just feel that a place that serves such fresh, homemade items should have fresh cream for coffee. Other than that everything was great.

A small town restaurant we biked passed on a sunday and decided to have lunch there! it’s a local gem by the main street specialized in house make donuts, hence the name of the restaurant! it’s mainly breakfast and brunch place filled w locals, the donuts are huge! we tried a coconut, it was moist and fluffy! not overtly sweet. we had steak and fries sandwich and chicken burger, let’s just say i’ll definitely order the steak and fries again but not chicken burger! waitress were friendly and attentive, seatings were comfortable, they also have 2nd floor which was more sunnier, we were seated on the first floor by the cozy corner and perfectly happy!

Wanted to give the place 5 stars and a return visit might warrant an upgrade but the service in this particular visit was a tad dreadful. We were seated and half of us couldn’t even see because the sun was shining so brightly right in our eyes. We asked them to help us do something about it and the waitress could have cared less. Our hot drinks came cold, but it was rectified without an issue. Our food was delicious though. Worth a visit but beware of the street level sun room especially at sunrise.

I have been a fan of theirs since 2006. At one time we live on Cape, operated a B&B in Brewster… when we were not making breakfast we could often be found at Hole in One! So many options, so many favorites. We are always welcomed like family.

Great breakfast! We arrived around 10:30 on a busy Saturday in the winter and were seated within 10 minutes. It was a little hectic by the door as the area is a little cramped, but no big deal. Hole in One makes their own donuts and we ordered 2(chocolate glazed and chocolate frosted) for the table. A breakfast appetizer! for a meal, I had the Mulligan, which is their eggs Benny, with hash topping the English muffin. It was great, and the hash seemed home made and not canned. My boyfriend had 2 big chocolate chip pancakes and a side of biscuit and gravy. The biscuit was light and fluffy and the gravy was perfectly creamy. Good atmosphere and quick service. We sat on the first floor, but I’d love to come back and sit on the sunny porch upstairs.

Hole In One is my go-to brunch stop on the Cape! Their selection of homemade donuts and muffins are delectable but you need to go early! They run out of baked goods very quickly, especially on the weekend during the summer. The menu is extensive with a great selection of healthy options(to offset the aforementioned donuts). You’re almost guaranteed to wait for a table and they don’t take reservations.

This is a great breakfast spot — more like a true diner which MA is sorely lacking in general. Went there two days in a row and both days had really solid meals. Coffee was good and eggs and pancakes were great. The donuts were outstanding. Had the homemade Boston crème and the homemade apple fritter. This place crushes dunkin. Didn’t try the lunch options but the menu looked solid. Service was also great. Very friendly.

This review is for the sit down brunch. Let’s start with the wait. An hour and a half. I get it. Summer on the Cape, there are a lots of tourists everywhere and the wait is going to be long at most places. So we tough it out and wait. It’s nice outside, there is outside seating, we are about to get yummy breakfast food… it’s not too bad. Now, if the wait had been worth it, that would’ve been one story, but the food was lackluster, unimpressive, and the service was just ok. The waitress was nice, but we waited 30 minutes for our food… after already waiting an hour and a half. By this time we, we were so delusional from the hunger, we were going crazy. Not to mention the long wait time, 2 of our 5 orders came out wrong. Plus, I got the sweet potato and turkey hash, which had no flavor, the turkey was dry, and the sweet potato chunks did not taste fresh at all. I’ve heard great things about their donuts, maybe I’ll just stick to getting that next time…

The manager(white woman, middle aged, brown hair, black polo) is unnecessarily rude. I told her I have a dairy allergy. She meanly asked if it’s deadly. I said it wasn’t but eating even butter will make me throw up for 3 hours. She asked again if it’s deadly. I said the same thing — confused as to why she was persistent since I just explained. She aggressively said they can’t make their food without dairy(they have fruit cups, bagels, and other food that obviously isn’t made with dairy). I don’t understand why I was treated this way. I was not rude, stayed patient, and never raised my voice. The menu includes an entire gluten free section so I assumed(like most people) that the staff would also know about dairy– especially since dairy intolerance or allergies are way more common in America and especially in minority populations(Koreans 40% of adults). But I guess the manager felt being very rude and hostile to my reasonable question was necessary. Never coming back here until she’s fired.

We stopped by Hole in One recently for Sunday brunch on the way home from a fantastic Cape Cod weekend. I’d have come here before and got donuts and cupcakes to-go, but I hadn’t eaten in the restaurant. There was a wait as per usual for a Sunday. We were seated in the sun room upstairs. However, it was pretty hot. One of my friends felt sick because of the temperature! My other friend had to stand up. I wasn’t as effected by the heat as two of three of my friends, but I did notice it prevented me from eating as much as I normally would. I got the Country Breakfast: two eggs any style and two sausage patties on a grilled homemade buttermilk biscuit, topped with our own creamy sausage gravy, and served with home fries. Instead of the buttermilk biscuit, I got the bacon scallion cheddar biscuit. I also got a side of Nanny’s Potato Pancakes because I wanted to try them. The biscuit was probably one of the best biscuits I’ve ever had. I was upset I was too full to eat the entire thing. The gravy was also very good(I’ve had better but it was still good). The home fries were crispy as were the potato pancakes. I wish I substituted the potato pancakes for home fries because it was a little too much food. It was all excellent though. I also got half a dozen donuts: Honey Dipped(glazed), Sour Cream, Raspberry, Cinnamon & some sort of chocolate filled crueller to bring home to my parents. I tried some of the Honey Dipped, Sour Cream and Raspberry. They were excellent! My dad said that he enjoyed all the donuts he had. I would definitely come again(if just for the donuts) even if I was seated in the sun room. Definitely get a bacon scallion cheddar biscuit with gravy. I also want to try out the coffee. My friend got one and said it was very good!

My meal was nothing really special. I got for Two for Two which was two eggs any style, your choice of French toast of pancakes and either bacon, sausage or ham. I got my eggs over easy and they came with a cooked yolk… Fine. I was too hungry to say anything. The rye bread was barely toasted and the French toast was good. Service was fine– didn’t seem like she really cared. I did get seated upstairs and it was so hot I started to feel sick. They should really invest in an air conditioner unit.

Three cheers from all three of us for Hole in One! Resounding satisfaction all-around. Wish we’d eaten here every morning while in the Cape. Great homemade multi-grain toast, great potatoes, great(HUGE) slice of quiche, amazing donut, fresh fruit, and above-average coffee. Atmosphere very cute, lovely waitress, very reasonably priced. Visit while you’re in town! Perfect breakfast experience. =)

Located right on 6A and right off Route 6, Orleans’s Hole in One Restaurant was well worth the 30 minute trip from Barnstable. I sat at the bar with my brother for lunch. We both started with the coffee, and I ordered up some chowder. While I could have ordered breakfast, I went with the sandwich special, a grilled ham and cheese on wheat with scallion cream cheese. Sandwiches are served with delicious house-made kettle chips. Service at the bar was fantastic. The restaurant is operated by the same owners as the Fairway Restaurant and Pizzeria and the seasonal Hole in One Donut Shop — both in Eastham. While I was enjoying my lunch, I noticed several locals come in, greeted with a friendly hello and their names. After lunch, I ordered a couple donuts to go. The chocolate cake donut seems like the most popular, but I also enjoyed the Boston cream.

We were here at 9:30AM on a Sunday morning and there was already a 30 minute wait! We asked for first available seating and sat at the counter after just a 10 minute wait. You may see a huge line out the door but that is the to-go line. We saw people coming out of there with boxes of donuts and coffee to go. We ordered the eggs mulligan which is served with a homemade hash. The hash was delicious! So crispy, salty and flavorful unlike the usual diner hash you get out of a can. Their menu offers a good assortment of traditional breakfast items and more unique dishes as well. The service was good, especially at the counter since the server can’t get far from you! The sour cream donut is their most popular and I enjoyed it okay. I wouldn’t RAVE about their donuts but it’s a good donut.
