I wish this place was located right next to my Cambridge apartment… but I don’t because then I would be fat from eating all their delicious sweets! We came here for breakfast(naturally). We ordered the ham and cheese croissant and the turkey and asiago croissant. Both were SO delicious– flaky yet soft. We also ordered the almond croissant and the medium sized bread pudding to take home for our family brunch. Everything was a hit! The bread pudding was made out of Danish pastry so the texture of the pudding was unique and the chocolate was a wonderful surprise. Service was fast, accommodating, and very friendly. The outside seating was perfect for us to sit down and enjoy these treats while with our doggy. I would highly recommend this bakery!

Pricey, so I only tried an almond croissant, but it was VERY good – absolutely covered in almonds. Would’ve liked to try other items, but with all the good(and cheaper) bakeries on the Cape, I just couldn’t justify it.

Beautiful display, we ordered a variety of pastries for breakfast. The Brewster Bun was certainly the house favorite. A higher end produce for a higher end price, but certainly worth the trip.

We came late — 1:30pm, with closing at 2:00. We still found a nice selection of pastries, and chose a Brewster Bun and a Pain au chocolat danish. Both were FANTASTIC. A few high stools are inside, but we chose rocking chairs on the deck. There are also tables with and without umbrellas there. We took cheese and blueberry Danish for breakfast tomorrow.

Awesome bakery. Best croissants I’ve ever had, even better than the french place in wellfleet. Go early though they were sold out of ham and cheese croissants today. Service can be kinda slow but it’s worth it. Some sort of marked waiting line might be a good idea as I’ve had people who came in after me get service first, but this has only happened once. I didn’t care for the coffee either, but that was due to too much sugar so I’ll just put it in myself from now on. Definitely go here if you are staying in the area, this is by far the best bakery in the area.

This place is nothing short of amazing I’m slowly working my way through the entire menu. Danish and pastries this good are hard to find anywhere let alone Cape Cod. The Brewster buns are unbelievable and my favorite. The blueberry and cheese danish are so delicious and another favorite of mine is the double chocolate cookie. And how can you forget pie of the month? Coconut cream pie last month was delicious. Everything is top notch if you enjoy real pastry this is the place to go!

I hesitate to give this a high rating but it is soooo good. I’m only rating it if the readers of this review promise not to go. I want to keep it my secret and I don’t want it to get too busy/crowded. Number one on the Cape.

We visited Eat Cake For Breakfast Easter Sunday! What a wonderful treat. My husband gave up sweets for lent and this was the perfect spot to indulge into something sweet. We had the Brewster bun and almond croissant which was loaded with almonds. Both were amazing. We did not stop there we had to bring macaroons and croissants home with us. We also had their coffee which was great. The staff was wonderful. The décor is clean, quaint, and inviting. We can not wait to go back and try more delicious decorated treats.

Seriously sublime. Danielle, the pastry chef is Cordon Bleu trained and it shows. Such an amazing find for little Brewster. Everything we tried was decadent and delicious. Prices are high for Cape Cod but it’s made with expensive ingredients and love. Worth every penny. We loved the flaky danish. The scone was dense and more pastry than a biscuit. HEAVEN on Brewster.

I really enjoy the tasty treats from this place. It’s conveniently located about 5 minutes from my current place. They have clearly marked gluten free items and the staff is knowledgeable. Must try the pot au caramel, so good!

So happy to find this place in Brewster. Love their almond croissants and all the gluten free pastries. They were so good, I don’t even care about the calories. The place is new and clean. The staffs were friendly. I will come back every chance I get.

A true bakery, with amazing croissants. Everything is make in house. Some of my favorites are the almond croissant, Brewster bun and the blueberry Danish. They use a really high quality chocolate, so anything with it in it is well just better then any other bakery on cape. The chocolate mousse is to die for and the chocolate chip cookies are the best I have ever had anywhere. Period, they are the winner hand down, no contest on cape. Others are close in NYC and San Francisco but these are the best. Layers of chocolate with perfectly chewy doe and little bit of crunch from god knows what put theme in a league all there own. My hat it off to you, amazing job!

Just had«Brewster buns» brought into work as a treat and I must say they are better than any baked good I have had on the cape –PB boulangerie included — and even better than Italian bakeries in RI. I am giving them 5 stars because I can just tell that the rest of their offerings are just as good! Well done can’t wait to stop in!

If you love pastry you need to visit this bakery. A wonderful selection of danish, croissants, cookies and many more desserts sure to satisfy a sweet tooth. I love the almond croissant and the decadent valrhona chocolate brownies. Oh and the Brewster Bun… amazing! The décor is tasteful and the servers are very welcoming. Right on the bike path so perfect before or after exercise! Eat Cake! Also great coffee and cappuccino.

Frequent Cape visitor and ONCLOUD9 that a bakery has arrived of this caliber. Not a surprise once I learned the owner/pastry chef studied in France! Madelines — true, delicious Madelines made as they should be. The Valrhona Brownie slayed me. The Pain au Chocolat and Coconut Macaroons keep calling my name. As a bakery should, opens early — 7AM with a smile ! Don’t delay getting your afternoon or dinner desserts, closes at 2 and some goodies fly off the shelves early. But I learned she takes special orders! Closed Monday/Tuesday — works for me, I need two days to rev up for more deliciousness from Eat Cake 4 Breakfast(and to pay attention to work and and try to take a break from obsessing about what my next choice will be) Visit. Eat. Enjoy. Savor. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful new bakery here in Brewster. Thumbs up on both my ham and cheese croissant, and my daughter’s plain croissant. Great selection, very friendly service. You’re not going to find Valrhona chocolate brownies around these parts, right?
