Great filafel! It’s my favorite place to eat at the mall. You can eat here and not feel gross after. Vegan options are a bonus! If you care about what you eat, eat here

Before heading to the mall I looked up various vegan friendly places to eat in the area. I saw this place and remembered someone had recommended it to me previously. I’m so glad I decided to check it out! I had the falafel sandwich, fries, and ginger mint tea. I loved that you could pick your own toppings. I went with the roasted peppers, veg salad, and cabbage. After you pick your toppings you can pick which sauce you want(tahini is vegan). The sandwich was delicious and falafel had great flavor and texture. I had a whole sandwich and it was HUGE. So, now when I go I get the half sandwich. Fries are amazing! The mint tea is extremely refreshing and comes with free refills! Staff is very friendly and helpful. I’ve been back several times. LOVE this place!

I have always seen this place at the food court and decided to give it a try today. Being vegan, there not a lot of options for eating out. I prefer home-cooked meals instead of eating out anyway, but something told me to try something new. OMG! I was so surprised how delicious the food was. I ordered a falafel sandwich, fries and water. Let me tell you, those sandwiches are stacked! The vegetables are very fresh and the sauces are delicious. Plus, the price is not bad at all. For the price you pay, expect to get full!

I’ve never even heard of this place but when I saw it at the mall I had to try it out. It’s like a «Subway» style falafel place. Now, I’m going to be honest, I was a little skeptical because food court food, PLUS vegetarian food court food, is always hit or miss but Maoz is definitely a hit. I have to say the food does not disappoint at all. So it all started I tried their falafel sample and I was sold from there. Their falafel is really good. You have the option of getting either a falafel pita or salad. I went with the pita and then I stacked it up with almost all of their topping options. They had tabbouleh, vegetable salad, pickles, broccoli and cauliflower, a bunch of different sauces, and more. But when I say they filled that pita up, I mean they FILLEDITUP! It was super yummy. Johnathan was the gentleman that helped me during my visit and he was just a SWEETHEART. Next time you go, ask for Johnathan and let him make you your food. Tell him I sent you(if he even remembers me by then, LOL). I loved that they advertised what was vegan and what wasn’t, so that was pretty awesome too. I can’t wait to go back.

Pretty awesome. I had never been but my friend ranted and raved about this place so we had to go while we were in Orlando. It was even worth the trip inside the mall ugh. Really yummy falafel, you get to pick from several things to put in it. Prices were right and giant falafel sandwich was filling. Got a fresh green juice which was impressively delicious. They even make fresh squeezed orange juice. The side sauces like tahini and garlic sauce were really good. I loved the Belgian French fries even! Great to see veggie food in the mall!

I absolutely love this place. This was my first vegetarian experience. The menu is very simple yet the options are limitless. I got the falafel sandwich, once you order you base you get to choose from different selections to add in. The ingredients ranged from beets to fresh cabbage. I was very pleased. At the end of the add in bar there is a selection of sauces. All of which I piled onto my sandwich. My favorite was the garlic sauce. So much fit into my pita that I was unable to finish it. It was awesome. This specific location is in the Millenia mall but we ran in and got it to go. The workers were helpful, fast, and friendly. I would definitely revisit.

Nice surprise for a food court! I had the ½ falafel sandwich with a side of sweet potatoes fries and very much enjoyed it. You can add a bunch of different toppings to your sandwich for free(they have«premium» toppings for a small upcharge). I added beets, vegetable salad, and olives. The sandwich itself was very filling and I was glad I didn’t go with the full size. I couldn’t even finish the fries but they tasted great. Overall, a very much above average food court option!

Great place. If you tell them before you order that you’re Vegan then they will tell you everything that you can eat and even modify dishes where possible. A special mention to the chilled Vegan Rice Pudding. A beautiful, creamy dessert with cinnamon flavour. Very filling though! Maoz was also great value for money.

This place, so many«noms»! I was at the Millenia Mall and not really feeling decisive on any food places. I had the food court«meh» feeling. I had a sample falafel from Maoz and that decided it for me. Let me get this out of the way, I’m not vegetarian or vegan, but this is my new favorite place at Millenia. I am not sure if it’s the unseasonably hot weather here, or just a lack of healthy food in my life, but the falafel salad might be the best salad I’ve ever had. It’s a bold claim, but try it yourself and see if you can resist. The falafel is crispy and tender with subtle spice, perfect in place of animal protein. I had the salad with a hard boiled egg(eggs and avocado are $ 1 extra), and everything else(not extra) on the vegetable bar, so olives, beets, shredded cabbage, ground cilantro sauce, corn, tomatoes, dill cucumbers. The cool crunchy salad texture with the warm, savory falafel was sheer perfection! This is a place that I am already craving again, and you feel good after eating their healthy food. Totally worth the trip to Millenia! Found out Maoz other location is in NYC. Cool!

Not as fantastic as of late. I think it’s the broccoli and cauliflower that’s been too greasy that has been spoiling it for me. Besides, euro bistro now serves falafel.

I can’t get enough. A salad bowl $ 9 but with many toppings including premium like avocado. Fresh filling meal that can be enjoyed to stay or go. It is located in the food court at Mall next to Chik Fil A. Sorry if I spelled it wrong. There is also fresh lemonade, carrot juice and dessert. Again… it’s all vegetarian and vegan.

A cut above your average food court fare. Maoz specializes in Israeli-style falafel, served either in pita or a salad. This time I got the pita and was disheartened to see it microwaved rather than toasted or grilled, so it was doughy and unmemorable. The falafel, however, is excellent — moist, herby and of course filling. The salad bar options are all included in the price(and there are some under-the-counter, one-dollar add-ons like hummus and hard-boiled eggs.) A fine array of chopped cabbages, beets, cucumbers — all lightly seasoned — and so on are worth trying. Then there’s the usual array of sauces, both healthy and non. The Belgian fries are twice-fried and maybe a little expensive at $ 3.95, but nicely prepared and pleasantly fluffy. All told, it’s a fried meal that will fill you up without nauseating you, and the veggie selection is superb. Around a decade ago I visited another Maoz outlet on London and there the salad bar was self-serve and unlimited, which affected the value significantly. If this location would permit that it would be five stars. As it stands, $ 12 is just a little too much to justify it. But don’t let that dissuade you as the food is worth it.

Carbs on carbs on carbs! And I just adore it. Maoz is a falafel eatery that is vegan and vegetarian friendly. Now, if you don’t know what a falafel is: a) you’re missing out and b) let me explain it to you. /fläfl/ n. a Middle Eastern dish of spiced mashed chickpeas and/or other beans formed into balls and deep-fried. I told you that you were missing out! Anyway, back to Maoz. You can order your falafel in a sandwich or salad form. Obviously I choose the sandwich, hence my opening line. Once you order, the falafel is made fresh and you are asked to pick toppings that vary, but typically consist of olives, beet salad, tabbouleh, cucumbers, veggie salad, etc. There are also some sauces to throw on your deliciousness, my faves are the cilantro and the spicy sauces. Yum. In their self-serve sauce bar(MORESAUCE!), they have creamy garlic(be careful though, this mess is so tasty, but super high in calories), tahini, and a yogurt. Along with their falafel they have a variety of sides and also offer fresh juices. This is a lunch staple if you’re in the Millennia area!

I don’t think I’ve eaten at another kiosk in the food court since I discovered this gem. I was drawn in with a free sample of a falafel. It was really good. Not the best I’ve ever had, but probably second to a Greek place in Tarpon springs. I was then brought to the front of the line where I began selecting my options. I kind of has a Chipotle vibe where you pick a burrito or bowl, but here its Pita or salad. The majority of the times I have picked the half falafel because that’s what I got the first time and I could barely finish it. The half falafel is 3 balls instead of the 5 which you get in the full. So I guess it’s more of a 3/5ths falafel but that’s just going to confuse people. I did get the salad last time because I discovered upon observing other patrons that you have much more room in the salad bowl for toppings than you do in the pita. I tend to fill mine to the breaking point. And yes, if you get one of each topping plus a little extra of a few of those amazing veggie toppings(oh the beets and broccoli!) Then your pita will explode. That doesn’t even include the sauces, there are several. But I think my favorite are the cilantro(which they keep safely guarded behind the glass so make sure to ask for extra on the side) and the garlic sauce which I selfishly hoard into about 3 or 4 of those little ramekin things. The tahini sauce is great too. They will ask if you want to make it a combo that includes a drink and a side or dessert. I haven’t tried all of the options but the French fries and sweet potato fries are nothing to write home about. And I love fries, I have tricked my boyfriend out of them on several occasions. What I did fall in love with however was the rice pudding. Oh my gosh it’s so perfectly sweet and creamy with just a touch of cinnamon. And the mint tea is really great. And don’t forget that refills are free so be sure to go get another drink before you go window shopping. If you can make it down the escalator after eating all that food, that is.

What can I say I am a Falafel kind of girl. What exactly is a Falafel, a deep fried ball which is filled with chickpeas. You can buy a bag of five for $ 4.20, then you are able to select a dipping sauce, I usually pick a cilantro garlic based sauce to go with my bag of Falafel’s. I like this gem of a place, which happens to be located in the Millenia Mall in the food court section. Maoz is a vegetarian spot that sells fresh and delicious food. Typically there are samples available for you to try the Falafel. I like the fact that Maoz is located in the mall because you can shop and eat as you please. I have not tried their fresh juices, but they definitely seemed appealing. Some of the fresh juices they offer as an option include Kale, Lemon, Ginger, Apple, Orange and Celery. It’s great too see a healthier option offered in the food court. They also have an assortment of toppings to choose from to create your own salad, one of those toppings is fresh Hummus. The service is quick, you get your food in a speedy manner. Location, great flavors, quick service, and cheap sounds good to me.

I am giving Maoz four stars for the simple fact that they are killing it in the mall food court game! They’re items are extremely tasteful and are healthier than anything else in a food court. Kudos to them! The menu is pretty cool. You pick a salad or a sandwich and add which items you want with it. They have options such as avocado, eggplant, and hummus. All which are super yum! The best part is you can top it off with falafel balls(little bites of love)! They’re are amazing and definitely a MUST try! Maoz also offers fresh juices. The have one called the ‘green kick’ that I find refreshing. It is made with apple, lemon, celery, cucumber, and spinach. You drink one of these bad boys, and you are set to shop until you drop! Overall, I am always happy with what I get here and if you are at the mall, this should be where you go!

Yum! This is a great food court option when you want something healthy-ish. I added the ish since I drown my falafel in the amazing garlic sauce, hence losing any sense of healthiness. But it is so tasty I don’t even care. I haven’t ventured past the falafel sandwich(falafel balls sliced and inserted into pita bread), since it’s so good, but on my last visit I added some of the salads to my sandwich, and while it was insanely messy to eat, it was delicious. I highly rec a little of the cole slaw for some crunch, the tomatoes and onions, and the cilantro sauce. Be prepared and grab a bunch of napkins, as you will definitely need them. They also feature a juice bar, if you are into that sort of thing. I prefer to eat my meals, so I have never bothered to check out the juicing options. My only gripe is the price, it feels a little pricey, but given that the portions are big and they are in the Milennia food court, I guess it’s not that outrageous. And the food is fresh and tasty, so I can deal.
