Salmon burger and pastrami for lunch for me and my bride. Interesting menu but nothing earth shattering. Good sandwiches, cozy atmosphere, pleasant servers. After all the great reviews I read I guess I expected more so in a sense, I was disappointed.

Friends and I made a dinner reservation for the annual Bite:30 promotion for the month of June. There were so many choices on the prix fixe menu( ) that looked delicious, so I was excited to try it out. Ambience: very dim, almost dark, for that mysterious, upper class feel, white tablecloths, candles, wood furnishings. I liked it. Appetizer: Green goddess market salad The menu did not offer a description, but it had creamy dressing, cherry tomatoes, figs, beets? also not sure what kind of greens. It was an interesting mix of bitter, savory, and sweet. Entrée: Mojito marinated pork tenderloin, roasted sweet potato fries, black bean relish Compared to the other entrée choices, this plate looked very full and hearty! Pork was tender, juicy, and flavorful. Sweet potato fries were more like large steak fries — tasted amazing. The bottom of the plate was a layer of black beans, diced red onions, microgreens, and corn. Since it was supposed to be a relish, it was cold, which contrasted the heat(hot, not spicy) of the pork and the sweet potatoes. It was«mojito”-themed, so it was mostly lime juice — my friend enjoyed it, but it was too sour for my tastes. I tried some of the macademia crusted grouper and liked it. The crust and the fish had a very light and buttery taste and texture, not overwhelming at all, but might be considered weak to some. There was a sauce on it that lended some sweetness as well. Dessert: Cronut, coated in cinnamon sugar, filled with Nutella, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle It looked fabulous and I was ready to dive into it, but… sadly, the cronut itself was more akin to a chewy bagel than a soft fluffy croissant-donut hybrid. I thought it would be perhaps fried or at least microwaved, but it was too cold and hard to eat with the fork and spoon provided. I spared no ladylike manners in crushing the perfect scoop of ice cream on top and picking it up with my hands. Taste was everything I’d hoped for, but texture was disappointing. Friend’s whoopie pie was vanilla pastries(instead of chocolate) cream, strawberries, and Nutella on the side. Friend’s lemon panna cotta was a small scoop of custard in blackberry sauce, which he enjoyed immensely. I would visit again to try different things. I recommend it to visitors looking for an «artisanal» experience, couples looking for a fancy date night downtown, or anyone who wants to treat themselves.

I came here a few years ago for the Magical Dining month menu. It’s got a very hipster vibe, from the atmosphere to the tableware. The appetizers we ordered were very flavorful and delicious, but the portions were ridiculously small(which may have been attributed to the magical dining menu). I, along with my two companions, ordered the flat iron steak, but all of our steaks came under-cooked. The desserts were unnecessarily large portions and nothing to write home about. Waiter was attentive and friendly.

My husband and I needed to stop by for a quick bite. The staff was friendly, and our food came quick. We ordered the fried green tomato sandwich with pasta salad and the pastrami sandwich with fries. Whoever is the mastermind behind the cuisine is a genius. It seems like the«less is more» approach is used with the foods — the flavors were so delicious and perfectly balanced without going overboard. I was not expecting cous cous pasta salad(because we were in a hurry, and I didn’t take the time to read or ask questions), but it worked perfectly with the zucchini and mushrooms that were in it which are items I would NOT put in a pasta salad. Fries were cooked to perfection, the pastrami was incredible, the fried green tomato was surprisingly flavorful which is rare, and the breading actually STAYSON! The overall experience was a great value for our money. Very reasonably priced, and the portion was more than enough to fill us up.

I am rating about their food. We were there during brunch so we ordered fried chicken biscuit, 2 japanese bowls and a veggie bowl. For the japanese and veggie bowls, we were expecting a lot more like a huge meal. When we got our order, it looked like they just put an egg over rice and garnished it with with some bacon bits and some veggies. We got full because of the rice. I think the proportion was not good and we paid more for what we got. On the other hand, my FIL enjoyed his fried chicken biscuit. I got to taste the chicken and it was very tasty. Maybe we should have ordered that meal instead? We also ordered their coffee and when we got it it was not hot.

I went here with the Mrs. and thought the place was going to close down. We were like the first couple there at around 7PM eating. Towards the end of the meal the place was 2⁄3 full so i was feeling better about this place’s Unilocal stars. My wife got the shrimp and grits and I got their Burger. All were really good. At first I was really worried that food was going to bomb because literally no one was there and then food really took me by surprise. This is a great restaurant and definitely a must try if you are downtown.

Hands down, one of my favorite places Downtown. Because I work in the area, I come here quite a bit for lunch. Here’s the thing, I can always depend on delicious food, as well as friendly and speedy service. It’s nice to know I can go somewhere during my lunch break to get a good quality meal in a VERY reasonable amount of time. I know some people don’t like that you have to order up front first, but I’m a HUGE fan. The menu isn’t extensive by any means so it’s not like you’d be flipping thru multiple pages to figure out what you want. You can always look ahead online as well to save yourself time. Servicers are quick to bring out your drink order once you sit which is another reason why I’m a fan of their«ordering up front first» system. There’s just a nice flow of service going on here(all with friendly smiles as well!). I think the prices are more than fair for the quality you’re getting and for the location. There’s something for everyone’s budget. :) All of their sandwiches are BOMB, but my favorites are the chicken sandwich and the fried green tomato sandwich. I recommend the coffee bar as well. Their lattes are wonderful!

I found this place on Unilocal.I had the shrimp and grits and they were phenomenal. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the meal was filling, but not overly heavy. I also enjoyed a crafted cocktail. Finally, we split the chocolate covered cheese cake pops. Delicious! Our server was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and made thoughtful recommendations.

Love the mule and whiskey punch! The café tequila is also delicious. Garrett is an awesome bartender — always greets us with a smile no matter how busy he is. Artisan’s Table is a great alternative to the loud and crowded bars on Orange and Wall St. It’s the perfect spot to chat with friends and enjoy a cocktail. I’ve also been for breakfast and the Japanese bowl was perfection.

I was really looking forward to brunch here, but the food fell short of my expectations. I will say that the service was fantastic! I just wish the server could have recommended a dish for me though — that is my usual go to when I try a new restaurant out and he said before we ordered that he wouldn’t be recommending anything :(. Chai tea was a bit sweeter than expected which was ok. Nothing too notable there. I ordered the chicken biscuit with sausage gravy. All of the flavor was in the sausage gravy — none in the chicken breading or biscuit. There simply wasn’t enough of it. Home fries on the side were also lackluster and didn’t really add flavor to my meal. One good thing was that the price for brunch is incredibly reasonable. They even have something called pay half club which is a monthly subscription that gives a 50% discount to your entrée for 30 $a month(per person).

I really enjoyed our breakfast/brunch here! I came here two days in a row. The first time was during the weekday when they didn’t have waiter service. During weekdays, you have to order and pay at the front before sitting down which dampened the dining experience a bit. It didn’t really make sense either since a waiter brought us our drinks and food. so I feel like it wouldn’t be much more work for him to take our orders as well. It’s a regular waiter service on the weekends though, and the menu is slightly different and more expansive. I highly recommend the Japanese Bowl! It was slightly sweet from the sweet chili sauce but still savory from the eggs and bacon. The portion is really large too, so you definitely your money’s worth for $ 7. I also tried the Greens Bowl which was good, but I got sick of the flavor after a while. My friend recommended the Stuffed French Toast, but as I’m gluten free, I wasn’t able to try that. They have nice selections at the coffee bar. They offer soy and coconut milks. I had the Flat White with coconut milk. I’d definitely come back!

Three stars for a creative menu and cool interior and a problem with execution. I came here as part of large group for breakfast. We arrived promptly at nine and were seated without any trouble. Our server was friendly, but forgot one member of our groups meal and she had to wait a long time. There were also issues getting sauces, drinks, refills, etc. I ordered the Tequilacino and the short-rib poutine. I love the ideas of both of these dishes, and they were fairly tasty. However, they both sounded better than they tasted. The tequilacino is basically a breakfast coffee smoothie with house-made coffee-infused tequila. The drink, which cost $ 10, tasted good but seemed like it didn’t have any alcohol. I was disappointed as I’d tried the tequila-coffee at the United We Brunch event recently and had wanted to try it in a drink. My short-rib poutine was very salty. The short-rib meat was also very dry, which made me suspicious of when the meat was cooked. The dish just wasn’t that interesting and the gravy barley had any cheese curd(an essential part of a poutine). The interior of the restaurant is very cool looking. It’s industrial hipster chic and was very clean. The bathrooms are nice. The tables were plenty large. No problem there. Overall, I want to like this restaurant, and I would go again if invited. As it stands, I hope my experience was an anomaly and not standard operating procedure.

I really wanted to love this place, I really did. I love the idea of a restaurant having fresh fruits and veggies every day with a constantly changing menu. It gives you a reason to come back. Let me start by saying that I had a wonderful time here with my friends. The service was fantastic. Colin was a fantastic waiter, and his helper was a great help as well. Super lovely! I really loved the look and feel of the place, it was very unique. Overall, my 3 stars go to the service, the concept and the look of the restaurant. The reason why this place didn’t get a higher rating from me? I had called around a week or so in advance to make a reservation for a large group and I specified that we were going to have 2 vegans attending, I asked if there was anything that they could do to accommodate us and I was told yes. Which with their daily chaging menu I wouldn’t think they would be able to tell me at the moment. Finally, the day comes and we’re all there having a good time, laughing and what not. It was great. Colin starts taking orders and I ask him about the 2 vegan meals that I was told about when I made the reservation, he points to me at a menu item and tells me what I can take out so I can make it vegan. I’m a little confused! I thought they were going to prep something off menu because I had made reservations and they said they would accommodate. It was just not what I was hoping for. The two options he point me to were a $ 7 croissant(which probably wasn’t vegan) and a green salad. I went with the green salad and took out the egg and all the other stuff and I wasn’t impressed. It wasn’t very flavorful or filling. Although, I did love the fresh avocado, so that was awesome. I also had their breakfast latte and that was pretty good too. I had it with non-dairy milk. Overall, the food, or I should say the salad wasn’t very impressive. I would’ve given this place a 2 stars but like I said, everyone else had a good time and they enjoyed their food, Plus, Colin was a really great guy. I just wish that A. they were more serious about accommodating me if I had already called asking about a vegan meal and B. they catered more towards the veg, since their concept and restaurant is a good one. Slightly disappointed.

76⁄100 in 2016 challenge Great morning with great people. After some back and forth over several days we chose the restaurant. We had an amazing group of 14 people who will surly be doing this again. Jose made reservations for us so sitting was not a problem. We had great service from Colin number 1 and Colin number 2(Sarah). They provided us with great service through our meal. Our drinks were never empty including the water glasses which were on the table waiting to be filled when we arrive. We had several carafes on the table through out our meal. Nice Touch. Our drink orders were taken promptly. As soon as we all had our drinks our food order was taken. We were all pretty much served at the same time expect for one of us. That was corrected shortly after Sarah was called over and we were all enjoying our feast. I had pastrami hash with perfectly cooked eggs. Great crème fresh was added to the dish. Several of my peeps got the Japanese bowl which looked amazing. I would have liked to see more vegan items on the menu and actually was very surprised there was not. I thought the bathroom set up was strange. There was only one stall. Yes one, in such an upscale restaurant there was one stall. There was also a door in the bathroom label electrical storage. That was out of place and did not belong in the bathroom. The décor other than the bathroom was nicely done. I am glad we were there at 9am when they opened because by 10ish they were really starting to pickup. All of our bills were brought to the table at the same time and none of them had an error on them which was nice since we were a big party. I like the fact that the tip was not added on the bill.

Well… This was a great experience. A bunch of Unilocalers and I had agreed to meet here for Breakfast in order to get our Breakfast Club Badge. Jose, awesome Elite member, offered to help me with the nitty-gritty and made reservations after we all agreed on this place. We were about 12 – 15 people and all«noobs». Some in our group are vegan and/or vegetarian and Jose had made sure, by calling ahead, that they would accommodate them and have creative and savory options for them. We arrived there on time, place opened at 9:03am an let us in, quickly placing us on the table Jose had reserved. Collin, our server, was eager and excited to serve us and had a great sense of humor. He explained to us the the menu is always seasonal and made some welcomed suggestions. We first ordered drinks and about 20 minutes later, our orders were taken. My drink was the Breakfast Latte($ 4.00 for a latter that has an orange peel and maple syrup), but I asked for an additional shot to «tone down» the sweetness. Still a bit sweet for my taste, but I enjoyed it anyways. Juan(finacée) had the same, which he loved and also had some Irish Coffee(not on the menu) when he finished his breakfast latte. Since the Breakfast Latte was too sweet for me and I was about to much down on some Stuffed French Toast, I asked Collin for some coffee suggestions and he was polite and would answer questions and address our concerns. Suggested a regular brewed coffee(cup of joe for $ 2.00), which was ok for me! Food arrived about 25 – 30 minutes later for most of us but two, who had to wait a while longer and we were uncertain as to why. Being such a big group, we all munched on our food while conversing. I’m a French Toast Freak and obviously had the«Stuffed French Toast»($ 12.00 for a Brioche Pullman bread, mixed berry cream cheese, maple syrup, black pepper crusted bacon), after reading about it on the menu and slobbering myself while thinking about the possibilities. However, This entrée comes with bacon, which I do not eat. Juan wanted my bacon so we asked Collin to include the bacon, but in a separate plate, since I didn’t want the juices to be mixed up with my French Toast and asked for two over-easy eggs(as a side), to substitute the bacon. I’m guessing it might have been a bit confusing for Collin since the bacon was brought in the same plate and the eggs in a different plate. Didn’t fuss about it, after all, we were a big bunch and I’m sure he was overwhelmed. I just slipped the bacon to Juan’s plate and asked Collin for some napkins so I could clean the grease of the bacon from my plate(OCDMUCH?). Anyway, my French Toast was savory and sweet. Didn’t love it though and next time might try something different. Juan had the«Pastrami Hash»($ 14.00 and it include 2 eggs, hash browns, house made pastrami, peppers, onions, habanero crème fraîche) and he loved it. He confirmed to me he would definitely have it again. Checks were quickly brought and gratuity was not included, which I found odd, since with huge groups it’s usually expected. We were happy with the service so we provided %17 tip and paid our one check with two cards, which Collin had no problem with. All in all, restaurant was roomy, clean, beautifully decorated and customer service was great considering the fact that we were a large group. However, restrooms could use some TLC and maybe not have access to the electrical room… YES, the ladies restroom has access to the electrical room(Weird). Also, I felt bad for my fellow Unilocalers who had to wait for the food while the rest of us munched down on our food without thinking twice. I’m not sure staff provided a reason as to what happened there. Finally, our vegan friends were very disappointed since they were promised savory and creative options and basically were given a salad bowl with some green vegetables and avocado as their«creative» option. True, the place is not categorized as «vegan» restaurant, however, Jose had called ahead and he was promised some creative options. Thus the reason the lose a star on my book.

A solid brunch option in Downtown Orlando. Located on Pine around the corner from Corona, my wife and I went to Artisan’s Table on Sunday morning for an unofficial Unilocal event. Since we were in a larger crowd, we arrived at the restaurant around 9am to ensure seating, although there wasn’t really many patrons until around 10am. The host sat us down and our perky server Colin introduced himself and told us about the restaurant. Artisan’s is apparently a «seasonal» restaurant that re-prints its menus everyday, so be aware of the fact that items you’ve seen in Unilocal pictures and events might not always be there. Also be aware that you can only order from the Brunch menu during brunch hours. While they have some good options for Brunch, the menu is a little limited. Soon after introducing himself, Colin took our drink orders. I ordered the Breakfast latte, which was fantastic. While they don’t draw on the foam(I don’t care, but in case you want to know), the foam was well done and tasty, as was the drink in general. The latte also included an orange peel slice, which was a nice touch. My wife ordered a tequila/coffee drink which was tasty, but a little thick(similar to a smoothie) and seemed to be lacking in the tequila department. We placed our food orders right before receiving our drinks. I know that some other people at our table had issues getting vegan options, so be aware of that if you are a vegan. I ordered the stuffed french toast, and my wife ordered the Short Rib Poutine & Eggs. The waiters brought most of our dishes out fairly promptly, but they did forget about one person’s dish, so we had to wait for about 10 – 15 minutes before we could actually start eating. Both my wife and I’s dishes were great. My stuffed french toast included black pepper bacon, which made for a good savory option to go with the sweet french toast. The filling in the french toast was the perfect amount, which was nice because many restaurants either overfill or hardly give you any filling. My wife’s short rib meal was tasty, but was mostly composed of french fries. While this is to be somewhat expected for a poutine, the overabundance of french fries took a 5 star-tasting dish down to a 4 star. A big plus with this restaurant(at least for our table) was the waiter brought our checks out right around when we were finished eating, and the restaurant didn’t try to push a group gratuity. Since Orlando is a tourist destination, it can be hard to find good service and good restaurant practices, so it was very refreshing to find a place with a great wait staff that didn’t treat us like tourists. Overall, Artisan’s Table is a solid brunch option. While there were a few minor issues, the tasty food and great service makes this one of the better brunch restaurants in the Orlando area.

We came with a large group and our server Colin was awesome. He was friendly, funny and really efficient. He never gave the impression that he was overwhelmed and he took the time to answer all of our questions. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their food except my partner and I. When he called to book reservations he told them we would like vegan options. When we asked the server what we could have, he suggested the egg sandwich minus the egg. The egg sandwich is a croissant with egg, bacon and cheese. If I ordered that, I’d only be eating a croissant. The other option he gave us was the greens bowl with no egg and cheese. This left me with a bland bowl of green beans, broccoli, asparagus and avocado. It was very disappointing. I was hoping for a little more flexibility given the advance notice we gave them and since they had confirmed with us that they would be able to accommodate us The two stars I took off were because of the disconnect during the reservations process. The quality of the food, the cleanliness of the restaurant and the friendliness of the staff were great, but not enough to warrant a 5 star experience

Great restaurant in the downtown Orlando plaza. Clean and trendy in a super location to check out other spots afterwards. Really great to see a range of offerings here.. . Hearty or light, and REAL vegetarian options. Thank you. Colin, our server, was enthusiastic and present throughout the meal. No automatic gratuities added, even with a party of 14. Money well spent.

Downtown Orlando, I found, has some very great food! However — a lot are not open for brunch/lunch but my coworker and I found artisan table and thank goodness for that. It was delicious! I had the pastrami hash with scramble eggs and a coffee. The coffee is from a local roaster and probably some of the best coffee I’ve had recently. Top notch. The pastrami hash — I mean it was everything I could imagine. Too much for me to finish! My coworker got the biscuits & gravy and his one compliant was he wanted more gravy, but I think that’s because it was so good. Overall — great experience to get in and sit in the bar area at noon on a Saturday. If we weren’t there for work I’m positive we would have taken part in the all day happy hour!
