Food is usually OK. This past time they overcooked my son’s steak and needed to return it. The longer waits usually keep us from returning often. Service is usually pretty good and friendly.

What a terrible Outback! Are they all this bad anymore, or did we just have a bad location/bad night? The patron margarita pitcher is a joke, it is basically a juice box on steroids and beyond over-priced. And my chicken was served without the bbq sauce that was on the menu. They also only served me ONE piece of chicken and told me my mashed potatoes would be 15 mins. Really? It was basically a lunch portion for $ 17 and it was awful. My husband’s $ 27 steak was mediocre, and we will be paying an extra $ 10 per entrée to eat at real steakhouses in the future. This is a dirty chain with crappy management. No thank you. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. If many Lonestars have had to close down, this place needs to as well!

5 stars without a doubt!!! From the service to the food. It was my first time coming here with my fiancé, and he was also very impressed. Steak was super flavorful and cooked just perfect to how we ordered it. I couldn’t believe it was out in just 10 minutes after ordering!!! Yulia was our server and she was awesome! Very friendly and made sure everything was served to how we wanted it. The food was delicious we are certainly coming back soon. Highly recommend this place!

I leave this review as my husband and I are pulling out of the parking lot. We arrived to a nearly empty restaurant with at least 8 servers standing around. We sat for 8 minutes without being acknowledged or asked if we wanted anything to drink. A minute later we had our coats on and were walking out. I asked for the manager on my way out to let her know the reason we were leaving: no service. She apologized and said she would get us service right away but I declined. I refuse to spend $ 100(steak and lobster entrees, appetizer, beers, plus tip) at a place with bad service.

I usually am happy with Outback. The food is good and the staff is decent. There have been a few occasions where my order gets messed up(both dine-in and carry-out). Today I was really disappointed with my experience with Outback. My mom and I were planning on doing carry-out lunch. I know Outback changed their hours from opening at 4PM to now opening at 11AM. With that being said I wanted to call ahead my order so we did not have to wait in the lot wasting gas for the food to be cooked. I called 4 times past 11AM and each time the automated message said that they are closed until 4PM still which is incorrect. This would not allow me to speak with an employee. There was also ringing on the phone after the automated message, so I’m not sure if the employees were not receiving my calls or if they were ignoring them. My mom drove over there, knowing they were really open, to order our food. The young male employee working carry-out did not care at all nor had any type of response to her letting him know of the phone issue. He told her the food would be ready in 20 minutes. She ran an errand and came back and no one brought out the food as they typically would. She finally went in herself to get it after waiting in the parking lot for a few minutes. By this time the food was already getting cold. Not to mention the bread that was given to us was hard, dry, and stale. I definitely think it was yesterdays bread!

Apparently the word«reservation» isn’t fully understood in Australian culture. Of course one wonders why they take reservations if they won’t honor them. I reserved a table at 5pm and somehow still had to wait for over thirty minutes for a table. Service begins when you enter the restaurant, but apparently not here.

OK we all know this is a large chain. I feel it is worth writing about for the following reasons. First off it is consistant no matter where you go. I can depend on getting a decent meal. The prices are very good for what you get. The service is good. I have tried much of the menu. I seem to enjoy the house Special Sirloin best. I find the filet mignon very mediocre after 2 tries and do not order it anymore. The ribs are good. Yesterday I tried the prime rib prepared Outback style which is the same seasoning you get on the house sirloin. It was pretty good. Not too much fat as you get in some prime rib cuts. The seafood add-ons such as the small lobster tails and shrimp are good and not a bad value for what you get. I always like the loaded baked potato and house salad for sides. I have tried many steakhouses or steak on what are supposed to be nicer or better restaurants and I must say Outback has a better steak than many of them for a much better price. And for me the consistency is something you can depend on especially if you are on the road and not sure of what other places may have for quality. Also the one near me, and supect all of them do now, accept call ahaed seating. So far it has worked out just as good as a reservation. A big plus and I suggest it if you want to manage your time and do not want to sit at the bar or have a long wait on weekends.

I haven’t been to Outback Steakhouse in years but I decided to give it another shot. Our server, Ashley, was fantastic! She was friendly, accommodating and she made great suggestions for us. The steak was delicious, as were our appetizers. I was pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be back!

I just ate the worst chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. It was like a deep fried breaded dough ball on a nearly stale bun… I’ve had chicken wings with more meat. The kids had steak from the kid’s menu… also not good. On the positive side the waitress was great and the ahi appetizer was pretty good.

I had Prime Rib there recently. It was decent but not great. Too much fat. The dog enjoyed what I brought home. The service was alright but the waitress-in-training and/or her trainer misinterpreted my order. As I sat eagerly awaiting my Baked Potato Soup, the pair showed up with my Prime Rib, a loaded up sweet potato, and a baked potato. That’s how they interpreted my order. It was corrected but of course grouping everything together wasn’t what I planned. Overall, the Prime Rib was above what I’ve gotten lately but far from the best. The Baked Potato soup was excellent and the Sweet Potato was very good also. I’m about to end my quest to find good Prime Rib and return to the tried and true Ribeye.

Every year my grandfather picks a place for his bday and the entire family(including great grandchildren) get together to celebrate. Today, for his 86th bday, he selected Outback. Although they don’t offer reservations, we called ahead(a service they do offer) for a party of 10. We arrived and were told we would have to wait 25 min. We called ahead, there was a good crowd, so it seemed reasonable. An hour later we were starting to get frustrated. The manager, who had no clue, told us it could be another half hour after we complained. Her reasoning? 2 other parties of 10 came in 5 min before us. Hmmm… not only did we call ahead, but seems thats something she should have calculated in the 25 min estimate she gave us. My grandpa was all worked up and felt bad for everyone who came to celebrate. The manager, completely incompetent, really struggled in communication, problem solving and management as a whole. It looked like the night was completely ruined until we left and had a great dinner somewhere else. This situation was the worst experience I have had at a local restaurant. I’ll never return to this location. The manager needs training badly.

I enjoyed my time at the restaurant it was five of us that went. Can’t remember waitress name but she was friendly and nice. We ordered steak mine was blan and cold. Even with A1 It still was blan. The crispy shrimp are delish! I had a rum punch is was good not much rum, but for 4 bucks can’t expect much. I’d go again I’d just bring my own steak seasoning lol

Outback is one of our go to places especially when it’s a special occasion. We went there for Father’s day and of course it was extremely busy but I did the call ahead seating and we were seated right away. We ask for our favorite waiter(Tony) and thank god we got him. He is the best waiter I have ever had. His service, attitude and personality is impeccable. For some reason the cooks can never get the temperature of the food correct on the first try but Tony is there to correct it. He apologizes right away for the mess up and gets our food out quickly and correctly for the second time. The food is always good when we get it made correctly but it’s such a great experience when Tony is our server. He always goes above and beyond for us.

Service average; food was cooked exactly to order BUT all the meat was super salty! This is the second time in a row that our steaks were ruined due to over seasoning. Even my daughters steak was so salty, I couldn’t eat it. Who dwarves meat from a children’s menu completely covered in salt!!! Unfortunately, don’t think we will give them another try for fear of existing another $ 80 on a salt lick…

Abysmal service, wait staff is busier talking to each other than attending to the customers. Bar was especially bad.

Arrived here on a Saturday evening around 5:15pm. Party of three, waited maybe 10 minutes and we were seated in a booth in the bar area. Perhaps this was our first mistake? Our waiter, Jose, was super friendly. Came over right away to take our drink orders, and then our subsequent food orders. Even offered to bring out my 3 year old’s mac and cheese first, which I really appreciated. After my son’s food arrived, everything went south. All of the other tables around us got our food, while we were still waiting. I had ordered a salad before my meal, and I know that didn’t need time to cook! Once the food did arrive, it was hot and tasty, but unfortunately I won’t be coming here again. Jose never apologized and the manager went to the table behind us but not ours. Next time we will be trying the Joliet location. Hope it will be a better experience as I really enjoy going to Outback.

My husband & I were craving their cheese fries so we decided to go to this location since we were in the area. There was a 10 minute wait but that was expected due to the time of day we went. As soon as we were sat our server came by and got our drink order & we ordered the famous cheese fries. Once the drinks came we ordered entrees. The cheese fries came out then the salads right after so our table was full of plates. Cheese fries were good but they didn’t seem fresh as they didn’t pull easily from the plate. Entrees were delicious but so much food we were stuffed. All in all a good experience. Server was very friendly.

I’m not sure why this place is such a low ratings on Unilocal. This is one of my father’s favorite restaurants so and I’ve always had a positive experience. So I decided to go here on my birthday with a few friends. To start off, I made sure to properly threaten my friends with physical harm that if they so much as mentioned my birthday to the waiter there would be blood. No thanks on being sung too. My experience was a pleasant one the food was delicious very quick and prompt service. The waiter was sure to check back with us within a reasonable time. We did not even have to ask for refills on our drinks he would just bring them. Will definitely return for another delicious steak. You have to try the blooming onion, delicious!

Nowhere near as awesome as LONGHORNSTEAKHOUSE Ordered the crab stack… way too expensive for amount we got. taste was just so so. Had chicken tacos and fish tacos. Despite the place not being busy at all, this took forever. fish wasn’t blackened like menu stated. Same sauce offered for chicken as well as fish? PRIMETIME on 95th in Oak Lawn has GREAT fish tacos. The flour shell itself was overcooked and rubbery Ordered a burger to go(medium)…it was medium rare and PINK… still had«moo» in it… lol There are MUCHBETTER steak joints to go to.ie.LONGHORN

So our server, Daniel was extremely slow paced. I ordered the Alice Springs Chicken with no mushrooms and there were mushrooms all over. The manager came over to offer an apology and indicated it would take 8 mins for a new entrée. No discount or comp was added to my bill for the mistake. They could have comped the Ceaser Salad that I ordered. Not impressed with their level of customer service.
